Here most events take place with stalls and the like when there are any. It's always decorated with events. On normal days it is a place where villagers love to gather and socialize! The shops are nearby.

Fleur walked to the square. It was grocery day again, so as per the usual, the goddess heiress went to work on her shopping early were few "worshippers" would be around. This way she couldn't be emotionally bothered. A glimmer of bronze caught her eyes and Fleur turned to the statute of the first Goddess. Anger filled the woman. "You look over the people right? Then why couldn't I have been birthed in a hospital? Why was a dumped on a mountain!" She snarled, before twisting her heel and walking away, shoe prints indenting into the stone while she walked away in anger.

Heart Journal: Click Here Nathaniel Wilds Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: Nathaniel was recounting everything for the day when he suddenly heard a call behind him. He turned his head a bit to look at where it came from before his calm blue eyes spotted Fleur in the distance heading for the shops. The young man shook his head a bit. "Ever the cheery one when it comes to her ascendant." he muttered before he smiled a bit. "Well good morning to you too, Miss Fleur." he said and chuckled gently. It wasn't unusual to hear her going at the statue, but this must have been the first time he heard it so early in the day. The mayor turned around so he was facing the girl, though he wasn't sure if she even picked up his answer. Where: Town Square With: Fleur Status: Calm, Content, Cheerful.

Fleur froze when she heard the Mayor. She had never been open emotionally in front of him before. Quickly she decided to change the subject. "Good morning mister Mayor. How are the festival preparations going? Do you need me at all today? I need to go get groceries first but then I can help." She asked, using her magic to quickly fix the stones that were damaged by her angry walking. Internally she cursed her adopted parents for making her so polite. They never wanted her to save face. But she knew she had to for her role.

It was about a five minute walk from the inn to the town square. With the scent of Spring in the air, the innkeeper was content. It was then that Yuuno saw what appeared to be a mystical force causing collisions in the cobblestone. His eyes widened and he had to perform a double-take. He saw a lady with white hair then correcting the mess she had made by repairing them personally. It left Yuuno in a daze. "O-Oh my..." he cleared his throat and walked up to the duo. "Good morning, Mayor Wilds," he said to the man with sapphire hair. He then turned his head to the woman whose hair was the shade of a diamond. "Good morning, Miss Fleur. A truly beautiful day for a festival, wouldn't you agree?"Yuuno smiled brightly. Surely the Harvest Goddess would find it contagious, right? If not, he hoped that she could at the very least put up a front. With: Nathaniel and Fleur Feeling: Optimistic

Heart Journal: Click Here Nathaniel Wilds Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: Nathaniel sighed lightly when she called him mister and shook his head some. "Don't call me Mister. I'm the mayor only in title. I prefer to be just called Nathaniel." he said but smiled gently. He could explain that so many times it seemed some people just couldn't shake it. Nathaniel never said lady or anything to the heirs either. He turned fully to face the girl and nodded. "Everyone been helping out where they could. And the preparations are done. All stalls are ready and now it's just a matter of announcing the parade when it is time to get that going." he replied. When she fixed even the stones he nodded. "I wish we could all use magic for fixing what we broke." he said.
Then he noticed Yuuno walk up and he smiled to the man. "Good Morning Yuuno. It's good to see you are here as well and I hope you'll both enjoy the festival. How is everything going at the inn?" he asked Yuuno, curious as to how business was going for him. He was just glad that the man didn't say Mister or anything. Mayor Wilds he could live with. He just wanted everyone to treat each other as equals and that included him, despite being the mayor, so he tried hard for people to just say Nathaniel. Fleur panicked internally, which caused a wind to fly through the the square a little violently. But it made her look beautiful. The wind caused her hair to flutter behind her, her pearly white strands mixing with the vibrant petals that flew about. With her upbringing, Fleur stood tall and stoic, making her look regal. It was as if it was a scene in a romantic movie. "Good morning to you too Mister Yuuno. It is a nice day for the festival." She answered. Once the two men get into a conversation, she took that as her chance to leave. Quickly the young woman turned on her heels and tried to leave, not even bothering to say goodbye as she left. She didn't want them to see her in an emotional state, her role was too important for her to lose face. She was their sovereign, their hope, and even though she hated everyone for wanting her to be this way, she still made an effort to please the people around her.

Heart Journal: Click Here Orrian Mithaleil Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: Slowly Orrian made it to the road to the square as he watched at all the nature he passed that was blooming and growing in Spring. It looked like Winter was but a faint memory by now and only been like a day or so. Their position in the ocean made their seasons change rather rapidly. Orrian hummed to himself some softly as he closed his eyes following the path he knew so well, till he heard footsteps ahead of him thanks to his sensitive ears.
He opened his eyes at the sound to see who he was approaching and he smiled when he saw Fleur up ahead on the road.
"Well hello Miss Fleur. How are you?" he said, though his smile faded a bit seeing that she wasn't smiling. Even on this day of all days. The first day of Spring was to celebrate the Harvest Goddess after all. "What is wrong? Is something not to your wishes for your festival?" he asked her, his voice a bit worrisome.
He saw the mayor and Yuuno behind her and gave them a wave before he looked back to Fleur. "Especially on this day you should be enjoying yourself." he added and gave her a smile in an attempt to cheer her up some. Where: Town Square With: Yuuno and Fleur Status: Calm

Fleur felt relief once she was away from the men, so much so that the wind finally died down. It left an array of flowers in her hair though. She was frowning still, deep in thought about her grocery list, when Orrian showed up. "Good morning Mister Orrian. I am fine, just trying to head to the store. How are you this morning?" She answered, pulling her hair down to hide her elven ears more. She hated her ears more than anything. They were her only hint to a family but it was still a family that rejected her. She hated that reminder more than anything.

Heart Journal: Click Here Orrian Mithaleil Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: The elf frowned when the other spoke of the store. "But Miss Fleur, it's a festival day. Not any store is open today. They will be again tomorrow." he reminded her. When it was a festival day everyone was free which was why all the villagers always would think ahead in their purchases so they never had a problem on the festivals. He had done all his groceries up till few days from now even keeping the store's own days off in mind.
Orrian shook his head a bit and sighed. "I hope you have enough in the house to make it till tomorrow at least." he spoke. "If you haven't you at least need to have your food planned out. Even the diner and club are closed after all." he added. This was slightly worrisome and the elf wondered if she maybe had been with her heads in the clouds. Panic filled her again, which caused the wind to pick up. "I did not. I just moved out on my own last winter. I always went shopping Monday mornings because it was easier for me. It is quieter in the stores. Sadly I don't have enough for tomorrow but I am sure my sister does." She admitted, although hiding that it was her birthday. It was always ignored by everyone but Aimee and her parents. They always went home after the spring harvest festival to celebrate, letting Fleur relax in the den alone and eat her cake with the fireplace roaring. They would make her favorite meal and feed it to her too. They knew her alone time made her happy.

Heart Journal: Click Here Orrian Mithaleil Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: Orrian noticed the wind picking up but he didn't comment on it. It wasn't really a secret that the goddess didn't really control her magic and she had never caused accidents so most didn't worry about it. It would seem the girl hadn't really thought about the future much. The elf lifted his arms in a calming manner before he thought about it. "Well... you can't buy food anywhere, but I always keep a good storage of whatever I may need. If you want you could get some food at my house later. So you at least can eat for the evening." he offered her.
Sometimes this girl, really. Though it was endearing in a way. They were roughly the same age, but sometimes Orrian wondered if she was maybe more naive than he was. The male tended to be more logical about the future and think about tomorrow just in case he'd miss something. Where: Town SquareWith: Yuuno, Nathaniel, Fleur Status: worried

The innkeeper gave the mayor a smile. "The inn is going pretty well..." he explained. It was then that the Harvest Goddess's heiress had created a gust of wind that gave her a more attractive appearance. It admittedly made Yuuno blush, but not enough to have him fall head over heels for her. He already had Kiyomi to take care of. He'd get even more heat if he fell madly in love with none other than the Harvest Goddess. One magic user was tough enough as it were. "A-Anyway, the inn is going fairly well. I've made sure to pay the bills, people come in due to the popularity of the island, and my prices seem to be reasonable. The tips I wind up getting are great.... but it means more to me to see the guests smiling."With: Nathaniel and Fleur Feeling: Talkative

Trying to keep poised, the wind died down slightly. Inside her heart ached. Again, it was forgotten... "I am afraid I will have to decline. I have plans tonight. I will just have to stop by my sister's today for some breakfast before the festival. Aimee always makes sure I don't leave her home hungry." She smiled sweetly, hiding her sadness. It was the one thing people couldn't guess because she never let on she was sad. Angry, she has let slip when she thought there was no one around, preference to solitude more than she would prefer, but sadness no. It was her one emotion she could hide, because the weather always got rainy after she was away from people. It never rained when she was out an about when she was sad, so no one was ever able to suspect the occasional rain shower.

Heart Journal: Click Here Nathaniel Wilds Theme: A Calm TimeOoC: When the wind picked up, the young man didn't even think twice about it. It had become rather common that such happened around Fleur. Over time the man had gotten used to it. He watched as she walked off and shook his head a bit. Though hearing Yuuno answer him he smiled and focused back on the innkeeper. "I'm glad to hear business is going well. For a moment it wasn't sure this island would regroup after the calamity back then. But instead we thrived. I'm proud of all our hard workers and residents that made it happen. Same goes for you, without the inn we wouldn't get visitors from afar and some that stayed there, ended up living here." he praised Yuuno.
When he spoke that the mayor noticed one of their elven residents over at the path talking with Fleur and waving to them and the young man waved back. Orrian was part of the island even longer than he was, though they looked the same age. As such when he needed to know something he would just find the elf and ask. Often they knew the answer, as long as it wasn't all the way back to the beginning. Cause the other wasn't that old. Nathaniel nodded to Yuuno. "Do you plan to join the viewers of the flower parade?" he asked Yuuno. "Or perhaps the Flower Mosaic in a few days?" Some companies joined the Flower Mosaic with their own design.
