Alex's morning was filled with a general sense of laziness. Not really wanting to do much? There wasn't much to do in a world that was bent on destruction. He didn't have games, and he wasn't much a reader.
A month in the apartments meant a mundane ritual. Get up, clean up a little, change into one of the three outfits he had....Go out, eat, talk to the residents. Harass Sho.
At least today he was given permission to scavenge. He manged to snag a cloth bag that their fearless leaders had gotten and then headed out.

Alex grinned and shifted his feet as he was allowed to leave the apartments. It was early in the morning, and activity was low. Very low. He wandered nearby, looking around the area. Rain had come, it looked like, with the large formed puddles and he smacked his feet in. Something clinked and then kicked out. Sardines! Well...he didn't like them but maybe the crazy cat lady and her cats would.
His next find was a bottle of water and that was good. Even if it was small. Any clean water was useful! It was followed by juice boxes and he grinned.
They wouldn't be thirsty right? Haha!
The last was a giant can of beefaroni and he held it up high. Food of the gods. Bless!
He scuttled back to the apartments before he drew any more attention, dropping the items off for Zelda and then leaving. A small umbrella in his pocket.

Alex rubbed his hands together as he set out, his cloth bag was slightly smaller then the one he had the day before and that was okay. He had found so much yesterday, it was only right to only find a little today?
But he didn't expect so little to be actually...so little.
He found a pretty red bikini, freshly wrapped in plastic and stared at it.
Maybe Sho would like it?

The hunt was on and Alex moved around the outside of the apartments with a new healed speed. Thanks to no cracked ribs. He found more items then he thought and laughed.
