Meet the Family!Rikka is a Gen 2 Fox. I don't have her family members listed anywhere. These pups will be Gen 3. This contest is a Naming and RP one. Both "the gothic beauty 2" and "me" will be the judges. There might be a guest judge. If there are more then one that we like then the RNG will help pick a winner. Just so you know. RP Reply:: A small rabbit had caught the small fox's attention and she chased it through the underbrush, not usually the type to run off from her family something instinctual had suddenly gotten a hold of the little fox and so she ran. Weaving and dancing,she dodged brush and weeds that would have tripped her in the all out run as her potential dinner tried it's best to escape from the predator. They broke through the underbrush, and in sudden terror Kya tried to skid to a halt. Not even 5 soquili lengths in front of her was a mother bear and her 3 cubs. She to desperately tried to throw herself into the other direction but only managed to twist a paw and fall over and mama was coming close a snarl on her maw. The young black bear mother was not amused by any type of predator coming to close to her cubs, it didn't matter if they posed a threat or not, if she got the chance they would die. Kya covered her eyes with her paws, hoping only that it would be quick and her parents never had to know. So scared was she, when the sounds of a scuffle broke out she refused to open her eyes .. well until the bear growled, followed by a heavy thud, and whimpers. Seconds later a flurry of movement and all was quiet. An eternity seemed to tick by, before Kya realized nothing was happening. Slowly she moved her paws and blinked her eyes open. The bear no longer stood before her, nopenopenope, instead was a soquili of medium size. His coat was based pure white and sprinkled with sparkles in soft oranges, pinks, and blues. His long brightly colored hair almost touched the ground and soft blue eyes watched her. His smile was soft and sweet, an attempt to settle her frayed nerves. That was the last thing the little fox saw, before she swooned and fainted leaving the stallion standing there with a highly surprised and confused expression.

She wasn't in the bushes near by, she wasn't in the den area. She wasn't where she normally was! She couldn't have gone far could she have? His other sibling was still asleep and he didn't want to overly worry her for no reason so he headed out carefully, looking all around for danger as he crept out of the den and sniffed the air. Where could she have gone. Snow was starting to come down slowly and he didn't want her being out for too long. Sighing softly the little male walked along the bushes looking around, wondering where she might have gone. Sniffing about he found her scent and followed it. The snow was coming a bit more now and he didn't want to lose her smell in the falling snow so he hurried up and ran, moving along her trail through bushes and around trees. He stopped when ever he heard a weird noise and he didn't move at all, for fear of running into something that might try to eat him. He looked all around and could only wonder why she had moved so far away from the den and what ever could the reason have been for her moving out away from their safe home. He paused and sniffed around again, he smelled her heavily near by and he couldn't figure out where she was. Looking all around he finally found her curled up in the roots of a large tree and he sighed....sleeping away under a tree...so very like Sute...He sighed and knew between the two of them they could get home just fine so he sat next to her and relaxed for a moment. At least she was safe and not lost now. He would walk her home and give her a firm warning about not wandering off with out him or one of their parents with her! No need for her to get lost or hurt or eatin'!

Jökull never did like this game. Not really. I mean what kind of self respecting male fox kit would actually go around playing hide and seek with his sisters. Really. He wished that they would at least choose more variety in their games at least. But they were his sisters and he adored them, so he always played anything that they wanted to. No matter what it was. They were kinda fun to play with every once in a while. When they made up their own games especially. But for now, he was still playing hide and seek. So he would have to come out of his thoughts in order to find his sisters. This was going to be a long game this time too. They had already promised that they were going to be hiding in their best places possible. And he wasn't sure if he actually knew where these places where, but he would find out!
The first place he could think of to look was inside their home. It was the most obvious place after all. But Jökull wasn't really sure if his sisters would be silly enough to hide there. And upon checking everything out, he was right. They weren't there. Though it was certainly worth the check! That was one less place to check after all.
The next place he went ahead and checked were these couple of bushes that they all liked to play in. Often hopping up into the branches and chewing away at the bark. Sometimes it was fun to just chew on things after all! And as he was approaching them, he saw exactly what he thought he would. Sea Breeze had her tail sticking right out from behind the bush. Really their colors weren't very good for hiding in places like that. And she had even decided to face the wrong way. The only way that she would be able to see him coming. Jökull laughed lightly as he crouched down and pounced on her fluffy tail.
"I got you Sea Breeze!" He shouted rather triumphantly and he could tell that his sister wasn't pleased that he had found her so easily. The frown told it all. His voice was rather flat as he spoke to her again, "Sorry. I know that you hate it when I find you guys so quickly, but your tail was hanging out! To make it up to you I'll go ahead and find Sutekina myself. That way you can stay here. I'll bring her back to the bushes once I find her, alright?" She looked at him with another look he knew all too well, "Alright, we can play another game when I find her too." Sea Breeze smiled at him and jumped right back up into the bushes she came from. This was fine with him though. Keeping his sisters happy was all that really mattered.
So Jökull went ahead to start looking for his other sister. She would probably be harder to find. She had a tendency to find... creative... places to hide. But he went ahead and continued with his original plan, looking in all the places that they usually hide. After a few more places, he finally found Sutekina under the shade of a tree, fast asleep. Just without a care in the world. He wondered what could possibly be going on in her head that she decided to just fall asleep. Shaking his head, he called over to Sea Breeze, who wasn't too far away actually, and they both laid down with their sister, content to take an afternoon nap.

Username:: Ovarian Paint Name of Fox:: Kirsi Gender:: Male Temper:: Aloof Solo or Bonded:: Bonded with TalviRP Prompt:: 3 - Pup Kirsi meets Talvi & Frost RP Reply:: Talvi grazed lightly on a few tender shoots still warm by the afternoon sun, summer was slowly fading into fall, and soon then winter would be upon them, she lifted her face to bask in the warm rays of the sun, she would miss summer, but winter always felt like home to her. Not to far away, Talvi's silver kitten chased a butterfly, the mare kept her ears keen on the sounds of her kitten, a hawk had tried to snatch her one to many times for Talvi to let her run too free. Kirsi watched the kitten play, curious of the little creature the young pup carefully stalked the feline in the grass, before leaping out with a grin, as the little fur ball puffed up and gave a hiss. Talvi's head snapped towards the kitten as she eyed the little fox pup, she took a moment to let her heart calm before she wandered over, she nosed the small silver kitten before she eyed the fox pup. "Well, hello there small one.." Kirsi stared at the soquili with wide eyes, no one in his family was bonded to one of these giant beasts, he'd never seen one before this close! He puffed his chest and flicked his tail proudly, "Im not small.." He boasted as he eyed the kitten. "Bigger than her." He said with a grin. The mare smiled, and held back a small laugh, what a fox indeed! "You are indeed, how rude of me." Talvi bowed her head to the fox pup. "This is Frost, she doesnt talk much." She said as she nibbled lightly at the kitten, who only slanted her a look before whispering to the mare, who nodded her head. "Frost wants to play tag..Would you like to join us?" She asked the feisty pup. He pretended to ponder it over a moment, before he nodded. "Yes! Aaaand your it!" He bopped the mare on the nose with a paw before taking off, Frost took off as well with a mew of laughter, Talvi let her head fall as she laughed. "Alright! Im going to get you!" The mare was careful to not use her size, or speed to cheat the game, instead she chased after the kitten and fox across the meadow, she would tag Frost who would then proceed to chase the fox pup across the land, and back and forth the game went until the sun began to fade, and the trio bid farewell, promises of new games to be shared on the morrow.

Castor's LamentRP Prompt:: #3 RP Reply:: (Writing from Taiga's POV - first person) There is nothing in this world that is more important than family. At least that is what we were told when we were just young kits. Mama and Papa were always there for us when we were happy or sad, hungry or not. Now that time has passed I understand what knowledge they were trying to impart to us. My sisters and I have gone our own ways in these vast lands. The time we spent together will always remain a treasured memory; one that I can simply close my eyes and recall at any moment. But now there is someone else that I consider family. He is nothing like me and yet I look up to him like he is of my blood. I cannot explain it beyond the extreme kinship I feel while I am in his presence. We make each other feel better simply by being there for one another. We are each others confidante. We share whispered secrets in the dark of night or the brilliant light of day. We look out for each other. I don't understand the logic behind the bond I feel. Nor am I willing to risk losing what I perceive is right. I can only hope that my family is understanding in this choice that I have made. I cannot believe they would begrudge me the happiness that I have found but I am not sure. I feel that the next family get together will be a very interesting one. I cannot wait to see the reactions of my family when I tell them that I have found my older brother: a brother I consider in spirit. I hope they will get over the shock very quickly. I only wish I could see into the future to gauge a possible outcome. Fall is coming on soon and there is a family gathering before winter approaches. Will they accept my decision? Will they treat my partner with respect even if they don't approve? It makes me nervous to have these questions race through my mind. As I get ready to meet with my older brother I leave for you an exemplary piece of advice: always trust your instincts. I trusted mine and found my bonded. He is of a different species it is true but the bond we share is stronger than anything I have ever experienced. I feel in my heart that our connection will only continue to strengthen with the passage of time.

RP Reply:: Yuki glared daggers at the pup. Its declaration of innocence only served to anger her more. “I told you not to touch it!” She exclaimed loudly, her eyes narrowing darkly. “You’ve destroyed it, even after I told you what it was!” Even as she spoke, Yuki could feel the anger well up inside of her.
The other pup stood her ground against her feisty sister. “I didn't know, Yuki!” She intoned with the authority of an elder sibling. Yuki stopped her advancement at the statement, keeping a distance of about two inches between them. “That was going to be for father’s birthday. Do you have any idea how long it took me to get that together?!”
The elder pup sighed and rolled her eyes. "Then you shouldn't have left it out in the open like that. How was I supposed to know what it was?" "You could have asked!" Yuki scowled at her sister. Not only had she damaged a present meant for their father, but she had betrayed Yuki's trust in her. "It wouldn't have taken but a moment to ask...I--I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive you for this..."

Their parents took shifts in watching the kits while the other went off hunting. The kits, for the most part, amused themselves. Nicholas seemed content just by watching his sisters tussle amongst themselves, when in reality, he had been given the task of watching them. After some bargaining, it was agreed upon that he would have the first bite of whatever his parents brought home, and so he settled to watching them. The day grew on and eventually as morning shifted to afternoon, Nicholas decided that it was time for a nap, for his eyes were starting to cross. He let out a yawn and blinked a few times, before rousing the energy to gather his sisters into the burrow again. It was then that he realized that Sea Breeze was no longer playing with her sister, but tussling around the clearing with a fallen leaf. "Sea Breeze? Where is Sutekina?" He asked, but her answer was a vague and unsatisfactory one. He paced the clearing for a moment. He couldn't leave Sea Breeze on her own as she might wander off too. He would have to take her with her, for neither of his parents were in sight at that time. "Alright Breezy, follow me." He had to stop periodically to make sure his sister was following him, and every step away from his familiar home he took he found himself becoming more worried about what he was going into. As it turned out, he needn't have worried, for it was only five minutes later that he found his other sister. She was curled up in the shade of a tree, dozing pleasantly and Nicholas found that he had no energy to wake her. Instead he lay beside her and motioned for Sea Breeze to do the same. Later, their parents would find their kits in a pile, strewn over one another and in a deep, happy sleep.

OMG you all didn't make this easy. I had to reread everything like three to four times. But each time I did this there was one that just stood out. I liked all of the entries. Sadly only one can win as we only had one fox to give away. So without further waiting. OUR WINNER IS That leaves Six. And to the six that didn't win I will put you all on the list for Sutekina's offspring as she has a future mate that I own. Thank you all for entering and showing interest in this Foxy family.
