Hyakutake was hurt and starting to feel the effects of it as her adrenaline started wearing off. But she wasn't going to stop until she found Albert. She couldn't. He'd have to have gotten out if he wasn't near where she'd left him...He just HAD to be. She stopped after a moment, looking around and just...trying to see if she could find him before she needed to de-henshin. Damn, she hurt though...

Redbud-Tree
Where was Kaida? Kells felt like he had been looking for the woman for hours, although it had likely only been a few minutes. He was exhausted, and the scratch on his face insisted on stinging in a most difficult-to-ignore fashion, especially when combined with sweat and the simple itchiness of blood trying to clot. But his own condition didn't matter - not until he found the tiny blonde that had accompanied him on this date. If she had gotten hurt because he'd tried to do something silly and young-people like...

Hyakutake couldn't help it when she felt another Order aura nearby, turning to see if she could get help in her search somehow. And sighing in relief when it turned out it was Kells still nearby. "Kells, have you seen a guy that's....well, about your height, wavy brown hair that's got a little silver to it, and glasses over grey eyes?" Maybe he had and she could find out where and...oh god, if Albert was hurt, she wouldn't know what to do...

Redbud-Tree
Well, wasn't that odd? Hyakutake was both still here, and looking for someone who... matched his own... descript...tion... what? Blinking, Kells raised an eyebrow at the senshi and cast a quick glance around. When he still saw no sign of Kaida, he was quick enough to wonder that maybe, just maybe... she was here in front of him? "...My dear Hyakutake... it. Ah, just so happens that I'm searching for someone, myself." Well, even if this odd hunch turned out to be entirely offbase, at least he had a partner in his search.

Hyakutake blinked, tilting her head to one side a bit like a cat or curious corvid. "You are? Perhaps we can find them together!" Strength in numbers and all that. And really....Albert and Kells would likely get along. They reminded her of each other, really. "What do they look like? I may have seen them while looking around."

Redbud-Tree
"Perhaps," Kells said, struggling to maintain an even tone as his hunch grew louder in his mind, and harder to ignore besides. "She would be about your height. Blonde..." He couldn't keep the odd twist of his lips as he added, " Much too young and pretty to be spending time with an old man like me."

The words were familiar. Too familiar. She narrowed her eyes a bit, panic rising for a moment before it faded into curiosity. The kind that tended to get her into trouble. It wasn't hard for her to look around quickly and ensure there weren't any people around, or things that looked like cameras. And then she de-henshined, the action a massive relief on her injured, tired body. [She'd never thought about how much energy it took to keep up being Hyakutake...]

"Would she happen to be me?" It was just...too much to be coincidence...

Redbud-Tree
With a twist of will and a wry smile, Kells followed suit and Albert offered Kaida his hand. "Well, then. Had I known you were already a staunch ally, I wouldn't have panicked so much for your welfare in that fight." Despite his nearly-glib words, the tall man's voice shook as he spoke, tossing his head a little in wry amusement. "Fate is a funny, funny thing, isn't it, my lady?"

Oh. OH. Kaida's eyes widened, and her hand went into Albert's without hesitation. "And here I've been worried about being torn between two men, when in fact they're one and the same." There was relief in her voice, on multiple levels, and a shakiness that came with that relief and exhaustion. "I'm so glad you're okay, Albert." And she was quick to close the distance to hug him tightly, ignoring the pain that came with her wounds from earlier.

Redbud-Tree
"My worries have been laid to rest, as well," Albert said with a tired smile, and reached with his other hand to rub at his stinging cut. "And now that such revelations are out of the way, you wouldn't happen to have heard from my daughter, would you? I'm quite certain she could handle herself, but... a father worries." He would be more than happy to retire with Kaida and address their respective injuries, but he wanted to make certain Emily was well, first.

"I haven't seen Emily yet. We can try and locate her, since we've found each other now." She couldn't help the chuckle that came from her. "She shouldn't be too hard to find. She is, after all, a self-proclaimed Loki." And where Emily went, she took her bombastic personality with her.

Redbud-Tree
"She's also likely to have gotten herself in over her head," Albert said with a sigh. "Especially in a situation like we just left. But..." He shook his head and sighed. "She's a grown-up girl... she can handle herself, more or less..." He still wanted to find her, ,of course, but Albert was trying to trust his daughter, as well. Which was so VERY hard when his baby liked getting herself into ridiculously dangerous situations. "I don't suppose you could try to talk her into more caution if we find her soon?"

"I can try. I can guarantee nothing, Albert." She gave him a sympathetic smile, one that said she understood on at least some level. She was older than her sisters by a good few years, after all. "She's nothing if not resourceful, though. So knowing her...she's likely fine and managed to get people out with her." Emily Wren just...seemed the sort, really.

Redbud-Tree
"There are no guarantees with my children," Albert said, huffing like a disgruntled rooster. "And... you're right. While it isn't my place to... ah, name names, I am sure that if she was in need of assistance, she would be contacting you one way or another." Shaking his head, he sighed and smiled halfheartedly. "So with that thought in mind... perhaps we should retire to somewhere less.... crowded? And preferably with a first-aid kit?"

"That....sounds like a brilliant idea." She leaned against him, feeling the last of her adrenaline struggling to stick around. "And then, once we assure she's okay and we're patched up...sleep is probably a good idea. I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted on top of hurting."

Redbud-Tree
"Same," Albert admitted slowly. Though where would be a good question... he didn't really want to deal with Tom and Emily's well-intentioned fussing, and they would most certainly fuss after an event as newsworthy as this (truthfully it was a wonder Tom hadn't gone into full-on overprotective mode with every member of the family at this point.), but neither could he ask a young lady for... well. Resting privileges. And - oh god where was his mind even going right now? "...sleep will help recovery," he managed to force out, even if it was far from what he was really thinking.

Kaida didn't miss the slowness, the pause. Giggling a bit, she pat his arm. "We've got a couch you can crash on. And I have an air mattress Emily can use if she wants to as well. My place isn't too much less crowded than yours, comparatively, but my roommates won't ask a whole lot of questions of you guys. Matt and Yuki are more likely to drill ME." Oh man...explaining her hurts to her moirail and 'brother' was going to be...interesting.

Redbud-Tree
"Between us we could at least come up with a workable story," Albert murmured, swiping again at the cut on his face. "And while we're at it, I would like to know where I should file complaints. I am frankly sick of everything damaging my _face_!" Was he whining? Yes. But it felt good to be able to whine about his injuries to someone other than his daughter. And it wasn't like he was hitting the point of ridiculously dramatic.... yet.
