School: n/a; children’s ministry assistant director
Hobbies:
Dancing - This is a precious hobby to Caely in that it is part of the happy memories from her childhood that she continues to delight in as an adult. She and her closest cousin Elysha both danced in the same studio growing up and upon her move to Destiny City, Caely gladly was quick to join Elysha for a visit of the studio she now frequents since then. It relaxes Caely to move with the beats of a melody while taking time away from other thoughts apart from focusing on just dancing. Community Service - Caely began volunteering in high school and has since then made it a regular part of her life she looks forward to. She likes that it gives time in the company of others further structure and meaning. She likes how she finds less awkward moments encountered while interacting with fellow volunteers in various settings that include hospitals and animal shelters. And it makes her happy to be a part of how teamwork comes together and spirits brighten during various lengths of time from hours to years.
Virtues:
Self-confident -- Caely acknowledges that she recognizes her efforts in her experiences to learn and grow continually. Therefore, she trusts herself to endeavor to make decisions with care. If she makes a mistake, she owns up to it and all the events that she commits to memory help her make considerations and think about how not to make the same errors. Composed -- The goal to keep panic to a minimum has become a part of who she is. She has accumulated a notable amount of various experiences from participating in team sports to competing in oratorical events being some of them. And when encountering a new experience, she draws from related thoughts and emotions of the past to aid her in figuring out how to proceed with lessons she has learned and may be able to apply to what is new. So, though she may get nervous or puzzled, it is not often that she becomes stuck in being at a loss of what to do for so long since she actively strives for calmness whether to be restored speedily or remain uninterrupted as she goes about her days.
Flaws:
Illusory -- Caely downplays her emotions. She also avoids fully opening up to others. She has grown out of her childhood ways of wearing her heart on her sleeve and showing all her tears and gladness in seeking not to be overlooked by her family members who seem so busy with what occupies them and so focused on having reputable characters that are in part affected by her upbringing. Now she is seldom one to depend on and look for any and rarely more concern and understanding than she is accustomed to receiving from family members and anyone else. Even if she is really troubled and sheds any tears, she will persist to get herself steadily back to the upkeep of an independent bearing with little to no reliance on people. Thus, despite her reserved demeanor having been deemed pleasant in some instances, there is also the contrasting possibility where she has also been thought of in other instances as conceited or finding herself too good for others. In examining her person along with her children's ministry involvement, is one example of such assessments as these that she is aware she receives. And while she carries on with these duties of hers, she is not in denial of this standoffish flaw of hers. In a bit more detail, she goes about her expression of this trait with a subtle but quite effective manner of approach. Since she makes it a habit to keep herself busy, she does not find it too difficult an endeavor to keep others at arms' length. An example of this is for instance if she is attending a party, she is not an initiator of lengthy or deep conversation and is inclined to focus on just interacting as much as is polite and is serving her purpose of providing support superficially in maintaining professionalism, respect, or both. Other ways she goes about being evasive or scarce is excusing herself early for planned tasks or errands and being mindful of the frequency she attends gatherings. And thus, this trait makes Caely hard to decipher and more easily misunderstood. Snappy -- When her patience wears thin, Caely's irritation shows itself through a piercing quality. She becomes inclined to respond with less words, phrasing her thoughts more concisely in such a way that she more easily delivers them, unintentionally more often than not, with an edge that may come in various levels to be found laced in her tone, message, and demeanor that has been deemed offending and arrogant.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Hers are green.
Hair: Her long strands are blonde and wavy, which she likes to keep in an over-the-shoulder braid.
Face: She has an oval-shaped face with small ears.
Level 1: Her bracers are simply designed. Level 2: The bracers are still simple but sturdier. Level 3: They are more intricately designed and sturdy.
Magic
Level 2: Aptera's bracers glow and she forward punches to create a magic circle in front of her, and then she punches again to activate the magic. This summons a heavy globe (8ft diameter) that, tying into Castor's power theme of force, pushes anything and anyone away from her without discrimination. Inside the globe, a hailstorm rages, giving her the mass she needs to force attacks away (the hailstorm inside is visual and may be cold but provides no damage or bonus effects). The globe follows her movements and will exert a force of equal power (up to her own level) on anything that it comes into contact with. This will repel any weapons or magic her rank, but higher ranked weapons or magic can break the globe and she will need to resummon it. The globe does not reflect the magic (it cannot be redirected to harm anyone else) but forcibly stops the attack before it can hit Aptera. The globe can be channeled for a total of thirty seconds. If it is broken, she can resummon it within a few seconds and continue channeling.
Level 3: Aptera's bracers glow and she forward punches to create a magic circle in front of her, and then she punches again to activate the magic. Instead of a globe, it is now a fortress of ice to surround her (8ft diameter) that, tying into Castor's power theme of force, pushes almost anything and anyone away from her. Castor and Castor Knights can pass through. Inside this octagon shaped, dome roofed fortress, a hailstorm rages, giving her the mass she needs to force attacks away (the hailstorm inside is visual and may be cold but provides no damage or bonus effects). The fortress follows her movements and will exert a force of equal power (up to her own level) on anything that it comes into contact with. This will repel any weapons or magic her rank, but higher ranked weapons or magic can break the fortress and she will need to resummon it. The fortress now has the additional ability to, while forcing attacks away, absorb some of the energy behind them. Tying into Castor's theme of brotherhood, Aptera can use the harvested magic to redistribute five seconds of attack usage to an ally, who must make contact with the fortress before she stops channeling. She can restore five seconds of use to up to three allies during a battle (no more than three during a battle regardless of how many times the fortress is summoned or dismissed). The fortress can be channeled for a total of thirty five seconds.
I would like to request for Vampsu's wise thoughts plsu ouo <3

My only thing being her magic- I would actually suggest that perhaps she summons a literal ' moving fortress' of ice. A dome that deflects attacks or projectiles for a certain amount of time. A protective sphere is not really huge on the Castor power themes, (in general most 'core/basic' defensive moves don't work :'D ) but by adding ice to the mix it helps draw it back to Castor. Plus, a moving fortress draws on the fact that such a thing in symbolic of a force- again, a tie to castor power themes.
-thumbs up!- Vampsu, domo arigatougozaimasu *u* I edited her magic, how is it now? ouo

Hey Shy! Just a few things and then Caely will be ready for play!
Right now, her flaws are effectively reading as the same thing to me. They're both about how she is standoffish and doesn't let people in -- are there other things people might dislike her for? For instance, does her self-confidence sometimes turn into arrogance?
On the powered side, I unfortunately do not feel that her powers quite fit Castor's stated themes, and they need a more direct tie to brotherhood, devotion, or force! While Castor's sphere is hail, neither it nor ice are a power theme for his Knights.
Quote me if you make changes or have any questions and I will give her another look c:

Song thank you so much! <3 8 D I blended her initial flaws and added snappy as another flaw. I also modified her magic with the theme of brotherhood as my focus.

The new flaw looks good!
However, I am not quite seeing the connection to "brotherhood" in her magic. Also, Knight magic operates a bit differently from Senshi magic - Knights channel their magic for up to a certain period of time, they don't just cast and go; the way you have it worded, it seems like that's how it works! It's better to specifty that she can channel her magic for up to 30/35 seconds!

-thumbs up!- ^u^ I checked the following definitions to seek further ideas and then added an element of mutual benefit. I also edited the wording of the duration of the use of her magic.
Brotherhood: an association, society, or community of people linked by a common interest, religion, or trade. (synonyms: society, fraternity, association, alliance, union, league, guild, order, body, community, club, lodge, circle)
Alliance: a union or association formed for mutual benefit, especially between countries or organizations. (synonyms: association, union, league, confederation, federation, confederacy, coalition, consortium, affiliation, partnership)
<3 >u<; I updated her magic in response to the pm I received and added a hopefully brief additional intro phrase at each level that's not included in the pm about her initiation of her magic.

<3 @u@; Ahaha um I edited Aptera's magic again according to my pmed reply and also noticed a sentence that needed fixing that I changed here only due to being unable to edit a pm >u< heart

x D Oops, I meant to specify which sentence that was: Thus, this barrier has an absorption cap in that it is limited to absorbing magic it makes contact with that is equivalent to it at level 3 or as much as two multiples of magic at level 2.

I have modified her magic again with the changes assembled by Hikari from the course of our pm discussions, thank you so much, Hikari! TTuTT emotion_bigheart
