Down in room 6B, something is happening! There are long tables covered in white tablecloths, dusted with rose petals and dotted with tea cups. That's right! Lydia's having a tea party! An early-riser would have seen the pink Chimera gliding about about, setting up the tables and ordering the flowers, polishing the tea set and picking out which kind of tea to use. Where did she get it all from? She has connections~ Now it is High Noon and everything is ready! The tables are set, the tea is steeped, and the food is laid out on dainty little tiers for the guests. Now all we need is you! Lets have ourselves a tea party!just a couple little rules/guidelines <3 - follow the guild's rp rules and guidelines - please either post a picture of your nightmare in your RP post or post a link to their dorm ~ it might just be a 'me' thing, but i like to put a face to the name c: - only chimeras in this thread please <3 sorry to all the other races :c - there is a bit of a dress code, so maybe mention in your first post a little blurb on what they're wearing c: - no ooc fighting/arguing please

Lydia spent all morning flitting about room 6B, transforming it from a drab classroom to a posh palace fit for her caliber of tea party. She had to get special permission to use the room, and was prohibited from using certain things like candles (lest she set off the smoke alarm), but nothing was an obstacle when the Chimera had others to impress. She thought up the idea for a tea party when she realized that she wasn't well acquainted with others of her race, and thought it would be a marvelous idea to bring the Chimeras together for a party! The crystal-eyed nightmare had decked herself out in one of her latest creations: a rose colored dress with ivory lace and golden pins in her hair and for her wings. The china tea set was delicately patterned in every soft color under the sun, and she left the tables namecard-free to encourage new friendships to be made. As High Noon approached, Lydia stood by the entrance of the class-ified classroom, ready to greet the guests as they wandered in.

Having received the invitation, Victoria was excited to make some friends! Dressing in her best dress, one she had worn to one of the acceptance performances of Fakir's, she finally made her way to the room, smiling from cheek to cheek. She loved getting to meet other people, and this was going to be amazing! Approaching the classroom, she saw a graceful pastel colored Chimera standing by the door, dressed to the nines in her attire. Victoria flushed, feeling a bit out of place with her darker skin and richer colors, though continued to smile, finally coming to a stop before her. "Hello!" She chirped, wings fluttering nervously as she tried to stand up straighter to look presentable for her host. "I'm here for the tea?"

Arden had no idea what he was walking into, or why he had even bothered to come. In his experiences, tea parties were both highly effeminate and classy affairs, neither of which the male felt he had a right to be apart of. Sighing, he stood not far from the door to room 6B, invitation still in his hand. Partly, Arden wondered if the invitation had been passed along to him as a joke, but even if so, he never let others have the satisfaction at his expense so he came hoping to make the best of it. Despite having been sent to the Academy on the guise of meeting and helping his Cache kin, he had been doing a lousy job of it so far.
It had taken some digging, but he found a nice, plain long sleeved shirt in a deep blue in his closet, the neck line dipping slightly. Arden didn't exactly have formal wear, so he had dug around for his nicest pair of pants, not a single faded spot in the denim to accompany. He had to only look in the mirror briefly before pulling out his nicer cold-weather button up to cover up his blue shirt too, leaving it to hang open and drape from his shoulders. It was fancier than what he usually wore, and the darker colors all matched together, black over blue on top, and he had broke out his matching pair of black sneakers after deeming his scuffed up ones inadequate. Okay, maybe he was a little under dressed and he felt a little preppy, but anyone who had ever seen him in passing would know this was a step up from his usual comfort wear.
Pushing off of the wall, Arden ducked around the corner to the classroom, tucking his wings tighter to his body instinctively. To his surprise, there was only two other Chimera there already, and well, both of the girls looked stunning. Faltering some in his confidence, he put on a polite smile. Lydia Rose was familiar as a Chimera he often heard of and saw in passing but never spoke to, and he should have know from the invite this was all her, especially if he only had the Chimera line up to choose from. The other was familiar in face but not name, so he secretly hoped neither knew his name or much else about him too.
He pointed briefly to himself with a claw. "I heard there was going to be food," Arden offered with greeting, a still slightly-goofy smile on his face. In his other hand, he crumpled the invite some and tucked it in his back pocket.

When Rajna had recieved her invitation she was quite baffled. She had stared down at the sprawling, curving letter was unable to make any sense out of it. The little girl had to politely ask her teacher to read it to her during the next school day so she could understand what the mysterious paper meant. The cursive made it hard for Rajna to translate it on her own, but now that she knew what was going on, the little Chimera was kind of excited.
'I've never had tea before, Rajna thought to herself, feet slapping against the floor as she padded along beside her chaperon, a fellow Chimera whom had been interested in joining for the party as well. Rajna was dressed in a small snow blue summer dress, with a large blue and brown sunhat adorned with a lovely brown flower on the side. It was as formal as the little girl could muster from her lack luster wardrobe, but Rajna felt a lot fancier than she ever had. It seemed this was the first occasion that called for such attire, and the dress could finally be put to good use.
Rajna's chaperon stopped at the door of 6B for her, gesturing for her to enter, and small gathering of Chimeras already present. The little Chimera peered around at them curiously. It seemed they hadn't missed much.
The girl stuffed her paper with the room number under the rim of her hat and grabbed one of the other Chimera's hands, the Chaperon sticking close behind to keep an eye on Rajna.
"Hullo." Rajna piped up, tugging gentle on the hand she had grabbed, glancing between the grown Chimera around her. Was she the only one her age here? It concerned her a little ... but then again, how cool was it that she might make some friends that were way older than her? If she had any people she could talk to, she would totally gloat about how awesome it was that she knew spent an afternoon with a bunch of seniors, but such was not the case. "I come for ... tea? We be having tea?"

Lydia smiled at the approaching Chimera, her designer's eye taking in her dress and accessories as she stopped before her. "Welcome!" she greeted her warmly, her baby blue eyes twinkling, Her first guest! And she had adhered to the dress code~ "My name is Lydia, and I'll be your host today. Please, sit wherever you'd like, the selection of tea is labeled by teapot. We have a wide variety of herbals, whites, and blacks to choose from." She curtsied politely and let her through the doorway just as another Chimera approached her. She had seen this guy around the halls, and after realizing that his wardrobe was nothing particularly special, left him alone. But the Chimera standing before her piqued her interest. Yes, he sure cleaned up nicely. Though his attire was a little more casual than she had expected, he did pair his colors nicely, and wasn't a single scuff or blemish on his outfit. The button up elevated his whole look, though he left it open rather than, well, buttoning it up. His whole aura exuded 'casual', even in his semi-formal wear. No matter, this was a tea party, not a model meet-and-greet. She gave him a noticeable side-long glance as he approached her, his slightly-goofy smile causing her to soften a little. "You heard correct. The cucumber finger sandwitches pair well with the herbal fall, which is in the chestnut teapot. The scones with the Silver Needle white tea, lavender pot, and the crumpets with the Chai black, burnt orange pot. Sit wherever you'd like, and do introduce yourself." She gave him a shallow curtsy and almost missed the small blue-haired Freshling wandering in with her chaperon not far behind. The little one had taken her and and tugged on it gently, causing Lydia to kneel slightly to meet her eyes. She was wearing the most adorable sundress and matching sunhat, which complimented her scales and wings splendidly. "Hello there, what's your name?" she greeted her, smiling warmly. "Yes, we will be having tea today. There are also some nice scones if you want something sweet with your tea. My name is Lydia, I'm glad you could come." She stood and held the little girl's hand, letting the chaperon know that the tea was hot and if the Freshling didn't like the tea, she had also brought apple juice. She turned back to her small companion and led her toward the table. "Tell me, little one, did you pick out your outfit all on your own? It looks simply gorgeous on you." The pastel Chimera gave the little blue Freshling another warm look, keeping an eye on the door in case any others arrived.

Mytrax remembered Lydia as the chimera knowledgeable in fashion, and while they may not share the same sense of aesthethics, as a fellow chimera Mytrax wanted to show her support. She arrived to find the tea party had already begun and was relieved at the sight of her fellow chimeras. She straightened out the sleeves of her dark gray brocade coat and flicked imaginary lint off the swirling markings embroidered in silver before striding into the classroom. Her footfalls made no sound in their polished leather shoes, nor did the fabric of her solemn gray pants audibly rustle as she moved. She made her presence known to Lydia with a warm "Greetings and salutations, thank you for inviting me." Delicate Rose Bud Can we assume this takes place after the shopping RP between Mytrax, Lydia, and Burvia? ------- The Flight class teacher was happy to receive the invitation, though as a member of the faculty she wasn't entirely certain she should go. On the one hand, it was a party! On the other, it was a student party. Would a teacher ruin things? Would she pose as a damper to things? She was still fretting about her attendance even while standing at the threshold of the classroom, one hand fidgeting with the fabric of her white ballerina skirt while the other adjusted the collar of her tunic blouse. Another thought occurred to the teacher that maybe she shouldn't be here when she saw the level of clothing the other chimeras were in. Ami worried that even with her hair done up in a chignon as opposed her usual braid she wasn't considered appropriate. Oh if only she had a fellow teacher with her this would be a lot less stressful! This was supposed to be a fun gathering, after all.

Rajna swayed shyly from side to side, a cute little smile forming on her lips as she nodded her head, the sun hat slipping further down her face. "I ... I dress self!" she said a bit timidly, though Rajna was rather proud of this fact. "My big sister bought it for me but I never ... used before." Rajna lifted a small, clawed finger and gestured to the androgynous Chimera that had brought her to the event, the fellow nightmare now perusing the other Chimeras thoughtfully. Rajna hoped their big sibling would make some friends, much as Rajna hoped she would be lucky enough to make some too. "I Rajna!" she said, now pointing to herself, chest puffing out a little bit. "You are a pretty one!" the little one pointed out quite bluntly, reaching out to touch the older chimera's clothing. "Dress nice too!"
