"YEAH!" Leo's shouted reply had a bit more enthusiasm in it than was perhaps neccessary, but jack it, they were not going to be beaten by a giant, floating, ice... thing! Rallying herself, she moved to catch up to Hel and the villager guide when a green pile caught her sight.

What was-? Ah, herbs! Smiling, she reached down to grab a few, curiously examining them. This really wasn't what she'd expected to find on a glacier; they were made of ice, right? How did something like this grow here? Or had it not and someone had brought it here? Looking around she couldn't spot anyone but Hel and the guide. Ah well, if someone had brought them here and then left them unsupervised, surely they wouldn't mind if she grabbed a few! Maybe their guide could say what they were.

Catching up to the two others, Leo held up her bounty with an excited grin, "mister! What are these?"

The villager, unimpressed, levelled her with a blank stare before slowly enunciating the word "herbs."

Really, the way he was looking at her made her feel like an idiot. "I knew that," she mumbled, sheepishly lowering her hands.

"Oh, that's a good idea!" She perked up, enthused about the idea. Maybe they might be useful for something? And she probably had a secure pocket she could stuff them in - somewhere they wouldn't accidentally fall out when she was sliding on the road of life.

"Ah, well, maybe not cooking..." Or maybe this was all a sign that she really needed to take up cooking. She supposed she could stand to take a few lessons; it wasn't like Leo didn't appreciate food, she just... never had the urge to cook it herself. But you could do all sorts of things with cooking; stews, baking, mini treats - which rather begged the question, what exactly did you use to make treats for minipets? Not the FEAR ones; she'd seen some ads for homemade treats around. But using actual minis to make treats for other minipets seemed rather cruel, surely no-one would actually do that. Would they?

Striking the disturbing thought from her mind and stuffing the herbs in a pocket, she moved to catch up to Hel, studiously ignoring the villager guide as she went. She definitely hadn't forgiven his uppity attitude to her perfectly normal question; momentarily breaking her resolve to ignore him, she sent him a hearty scowl. Tosser.

But then Hel cried out, distracting her from her vengeful thoughts and Leo continued on after the older ghoul. "Really? That's awesome!" Grinning as she caught up, she gave a double thumbs-up in heartfelt approval - "honestly, for a bit there I thought we'd never get this done." She could just imagine being forever stuck in perpetually climbing and then sliding down this bloody glacier. Joys of joys.

But they'd showed that stuffy guide! Well, Hel had, but surely traversing this glacier counted as a team effort. She was pretty sure it did, anyway - they'd taken on this job together and they'd finished it together.

Maybe this might actually make some headway into making the villagers amenable to helping them get home, too. The villager guide seemed happier than she'd seen any of the others so far, anyway; that was surely a good sign.

"Should we look for more or is this enough, do you think?" She looked to Hel, not the guide. It really was a very pretty crystal but it had been a lot of trouble to get and she wasn't relishing the idea of having to get another.

Absentmindedly adjusting her stance, Leo didn't notice the loose ice beneath her feet; not until it gave way, at least, and with a surprised look to the two others, her feet slid, then slipped, and with a high-pitched noise the Mare fell off the crumbling ledge, landing on the side of the glacier and swiftly sliding away, yet again.
