- The walk is very steep and treacherous. You are allowed to harvest as much as you'd like until you slip and fall down the glacier all the way back to town (must remake thread). This quest is only considered completed if you get the rare machalite ore.

Roll 1d6 and continue rolling until you slip and fall back to town OR get the machalite ore. Really, whatever comes first. Make sure to rp it out.

1. You spot some beautiful crystal fragments. You manage to get the machalite ore!
2. You get distracted by a pile of bones and gather some bone fragments that are ultimately useless because you're not a gunner
3. You get distracted by some honey. It is delicious.
4. You get distracted by a pile of herbs. You pick some herbs and ask the villager what they are. He says "herbs". They are barely edible.
5. You accidentally slip and fall back to town! Oh no! (Quest fail!)
6. You find a great spot to fish but you didn't bring your fishing rod.

Well, inquiring (a.k.a. being nosy) had paid off in the village, and she had been invited to go harvesting on top of a glacier. Bitchin'. The only problem was she was most certainly not dressed for the occasion, but that didn't bother the reaper. She had a hide of steel, after all. It might be a problem for poor Leo though, who she had managed to snag on their way out of town and up the glacier.

The climb was invigorating...even if she wasn't feeling her finger tips. Still the reaper had a s**t-eating grin as she climbed, and at some point she stilled on her precarious ledge to point out an awesome fishing spot. It briefly made her think of Amrita and their time at Castlecrone, but the thought also brought up that damn Wasp. Eager to let that go, she shook her head a bit and called out to Leo.

"How are you fairing!?"

Leo was quite happy to have been snagged by Hel, even if their destination was rather frosty. She thanked the stars she'd worn one of her warmer outfits today; the poncho was surprisingly good at keeping out the cold.

"Alright, unless we're talking about finding the ore, in which case I'm not doing so good." She ambled back to the older ghoul, pointing a finger back over her own shoulder, "I did find another nice fishing spot though. They could really make some money off of fishing tourism here." Thinking for a second, she added, "they might have to find a real good spin doctor to dress up the villager's hospitality, though."

Hel have a laugh. "We will find it!" She seemed adamant about it. "Failure is not an option!"

That being said, she all too eagerly leaned to get a better view of the fishing hole Leo also pointed out. "Oh ya that is really---" Her foot slipped, and with numb fingers, she couldn't catch the ledge in time as she slid down the glacier, and all the way back to town, her curses echoing on the wind.

Leo tried to grab Hel as she fell but in a mockery of her last mentoring test, her reflexes were just too slow. "Damnit--" helplessly, she watched the older ghoul slide down the glacier and onwards and onwards. That was... that was really bad luck.

For a moment she considered continuing on, but she was kind of worried about Hel. Even if the older ghoul was the awesomest person she knew, that had been a long slide...

Right, that decided it. Mimicking the actions of her elder, Leo purposely slid down the glacier and back to town.

It seemed faster than walking, anyway.
