The Seireitei is in the center of Soul Society, a circular walled city with four main entrances, each guarded by a Gate Watcher. The walls are made of deathstone, a material known to sap all spiritual and psychic energy when one portion is faced in a particular direction, similar to magnetic lodestones. The deathstone also forms a spherical barrier around the city, preventing anyone from entering anywhere other than the four gates. The residents of Seireitei are both nobility and normal shinigami alike. The residents do not often interact with the citizens of Rukongai. However, residents of Rukongai are allowed to apply for the Shinigami Academy, which is often the only escape from the poorest conditions of Rukongai. Some Seireitei residents do maintain residences outside the Seireitei.
Saki had tracked the scent back to the Seireitei, the machinery and oil odor strong and fresh. The Ryoka was 'bleeding', and she was going to make sure it stayed that way. They had to find it soon, lest it recover. However, tracking it was about to get a lot easier. Saki knelt down to the ground, and leaned in close to a smeared black drop on the ground. Sniffing close, her ears perked up. "Oil." She spoke quietly, but now she had a physical trail to track, along with the scent. Her target was close, it was just a matter of time until it was in her claws.
Following Saki all the way to the Seireitei, Dotsu made sure he didn't lose her. Unsure how many were behind him but he knew they would show up eventually. Speeding up enough to be at Saki's blindside, he spoke out from curiosity. "You're from Squad 2 with the Undercover and Special Forces. You have any information on this figure we're tracking? Accomplices, motives, previous actions? For an attack like this that has the entire 13 Courts mobile like this, has to be something that was worth the risk. Hell, do we even have any intel on a name?"
Dotsu wasn't much for conversations. Though this figure has piqued his interest that he silently craved information. Never choosing to enter a battle blindly, any sort of information will provide key essential for overcoming an adversary.
Agito followed closely behind Saki and vice captain Kesato. He had no idea what 'scent' this woman was following or where it was leading them to. All he knew was that the other shinigami seemed to trust her so, for now, he would not question her judgement and just follow. Agito kept his eyes open for anything that might come off as strange or out of place. The ryoka did just vanish before their very eyes and escape, there was no telling what kind of other gadgets he could be packing. He could be hiding around any corner, waiting to hop out and surprise them. While Agito was cautious but he'd actually welcome a surprise attack at this point. The day was only but so long and Agito would be ashamed if he came back with nothing to show for his report. At this point all the first division vice captain was able to do was make the air a little cold around this Ryoka and now he was itching for a chance to really knock this guy around. For some reason his zanpakuto called for battle more than ever, it did just awaken at the start of this s**t show, but something was up with it, like it had something it wanted to show Agito but was too childish to say until he agreed to look. Normally it would probably be awhile before Agito got a chance to really test his blade out, but they were on the hunt for a Ryoka and a tough one at that, so Agito figured he would have enough room to stretch Yokuatsu's 'legs', especially now that they were at the seretei which was a little less congested than the space they were in before.

XXX Yuisis was not far behind the group, in fact she was walking behind Vice Captain Mibu. The young woman was choosing to stay closer to the First Division than the rest. Despite their brief interaction at the Academy, he was still the one she was more familiar with. Thus it was more comfortable to be closer to him. Luckily it seemed she had caught up before they had gotten into an altercation with the assassin. Grey eyes looked around Mibu, and she saw that Saki was still hot on the trail. "Are we close, Okami-chan?" she would ask the young woman in a soft calm voice. Though she did not want to pester the girl too much after the rapid fire questions Vice Captain Kesato asked. Although she was indeed ready for a little pay back, she was composed enough to stay calm until the assailant was found. There was only four of the shinigami there for now. She found it difficult to believe that she had arrived before some of her fellow colleges that were present at the third division. Perhaps the injury on the small of her back made her more motivated. She doubted that the injury would get worse, or open up. However like she still promised she would rest once the threat was eliminated.
The voice was heavily garbled by the sound of oily bubbles and static and was the only warning before everything around the group began to float upwards into the air, including them. Moth uncloaked, just finishing tending to a wound and putting a stop to a stream of tar-like liquid spewing from one of his joints. Those huge, blue lens focused on Dotsu as he pushed off of a building's wall and hurtled towards him, knife ready to stab. "...per..haps..I..can..bag...my..quar..ry..." He breathed, wheezing as he brought the blade down towards Dotsu's chest as they all floated weightlessly through the air.

This allows for 'flight' in a sense for everyone within the radius of the device. Those with less Intelligence than the Techno-Lord who deployed the device have their Clarity reduced by -20 as it is harder to react to the unprepared situational weightlessness. S A W A K O ☤ H A G I W A R A Sawako followed behind the wolf-like girl who was making a mad dash after the Ryoka who fled, studying her behavior. She really was like a canine, sniffing at the air to pick up on a scent it seemed. What was it the tracker was following? Blood? Body odor? The raven haired woman was curious, but refrained from asking or distracting her. Vice Captain Kesato was not of the same opinion, asking the girl if she knew who was behind this. All good questions, but all irrelevant to the 12th Division shinigami. The other vice captains followed close, but she hung back to watch, admiring the girl’s tracking ability. If she was good, they would find the enemy in no time- which prompted Sawako to keep her distance even more.
Once they encountered the enemy, participating in the actual fight was not in the scope of today’s work. If she wanted to fight, she would have joined one of the other numerous Divisions that specialized in doing so. No, her role was to gather information on the Ryoka; not just for her own personal interest, as she would have most believe. But it was important to figure out what the enemy could do, how they invaded the Seireitei and to use that information to bolster their defenses. As for her personal interest, the individual of concern seemed to possess some interesting abilities; such as the barrier that trapped Vice Captain Sanada. Was that barrier how they slipped through their own? The many ideas and questions ran about her mind, eager to learn more and possibly even recreate the things she discovered.
Lost in her thoughts, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Yuisis would come running up to join them, passing her by. Ever the resilient soldier, Sawako knew she chose correctly in having her as a bodyguard, even if it didn’t play out as she expected. All around, they were quite the formidable group and could probably subdue the Ryoka if they kept their wits about them. Glancing at each of the shinigami with her silver gaze, a sly smile slowly crept on her face as she wondered who would engage the enemy first.
Suddenly the tracker, who Sanada called Okami, would come to a halt and they would all follow suit. Sawako would pick up on what it was the girl found when she crouched down: Oil. Oil? The assassin was leaking...oil? This only piqued the scientist’s interest even more! Their mysterious invader was using some kind of tech or possibly made of tech that utilized oil of some kind. While the others went on, Sawako stopped to collect the sample, pulling out a napkin and a small resealable bag. After securing the oil, she proceeded to catch up, only to find her feet leaving the ground. ‘I’m...flying? No, this is weightlessness. What is this?’ Looking ahead, the others would be experiencing the same sensation it seemed. But it wasn’t just them, it was the debris around them as well- a clear indication of two things that Sawako realized.
One, this phenomenon was indiscriminate, meaning it targeted anything not bolted down. Two, the phenomenon had a set zone, evident in how nothing seemed to be affected by it, a good measurement behind her. At this time, the Ryoka would show their face, diving after Vice Captain Kesato with blade in hand. Not only was she too far to assist, she wasn’t exactly sure what she could do to stop him, seeing as the assassin was just too fast. The woman certainly didn’t want to get involved in the fight anyway; however, as she was now caught in the enemy’s trap, she would draw her zanpakuto and prepare to defend herself.

Sara Ichika Ren, a proud appointed vice captain of thirteenth division or thirteenth squad some may call appears on the scene. Though something was very unusual, the gravity is quite set off and due to this surprise, she can hear a slight whisper from Anastasia"Sara are you really taken by this insane spiritual pressure? You aren't backing out of the fight are you?"Sara then simply taps the hilt as in a way to tell her to shush as she has a serious expression on her face looking upon the black cloaked figure. Though before she even gets involved, as her duty as vice captain, she must warn all Shinigami across the Seireitei about this intrusion. Any Ryoka must be slaughtered but must be done so properly by the law.
For safe keeping, she releases a Hell Butterfly communicating her message to it"All Shinigami, Captains, Vice Captains Of The Thirteen Court Guard Squads, I am Sara Ichika Ren, Vice Captain Of The 13th Division, this message will be not repeated. We have found a Ryoka in the Seireitei, i repeat, a Ryoka in the Seireitei. All advise, this figure is dangerous and proceed with haste and caution. This will be all, report intermediately." With that communication kept in silent to the Hell Butterfly, its sent to find whatever Shinigami it encounters and pass the message along. It lingers off towards the eleventh squad barracks as she proceeds to jump down. She breathes out as her spiritual pressure begins to build up in the sheathe of where her constant released Shikai Zanpakuto is as if it seems to absorbing it. Then with a sudden draw and slashing the air, a wave of spiritual pressure shaped like a Getsuga Tenchou goes towards the black cloaked figure.
"I hope you don't mind me stepping in." The badge of the Thirteenth Division is adjusted to her left arm near her elbow as she would have a killer's intent look in her eye. Clearly she holds a certain sternness about Ryoka invading the Soul Society specially when one should just stay home but it takes one foolish action to determine their death. Sumire had allowed herself to fall behind the group due to her not being much of a combatant after all she was just a medic who only ever fought if she absolutely add too or to protect somebody until she could receive assistance from another shinigami. Once the young shinigami had caught sight of the main group off in the distance it was only a matter of seconds until they began to lift off the ground and float in the air, quickly followed up by the Ryoka appearing out of thin air just like he disappeared earlier and flew through the air, hurtling towards the 6th divisions vice captain dotsu, knife in hand ready to stab his target. Sumire sped up her pace into a sprint, pulling out her zanpakuto as she made her way towards the group unaware that once she got in the radius of the anti gravity device, she too would float into the air and float she did once she entered it, the sudden weightlessness caused her to lose her sense of which way was up and down as the sprint caused her to go tumbling through the air weightlessly.
Sumire took a quick second to recover from tumbling through the air and right herself, getting her sense of up and down back and testing just how she could move properly while the anti gravity was still in effect. Though all this was just wasting precious time, time that was being used by the Ryoka to launch his attack on Dotsu. Now that Sumire had figured out how to move as best she could in the short time frame she had, she moved as quickly as she could to intercept Moths stab but he was fast, much faster than she was and there was no way she was going to make it so instead she decided that if she couldn't intercept, she would atleast force him to back off so she could provide healing. Her green eyes filled with a determination to protect her fellow shinigami, her hands gripped down on her zanpakutos handle tighter as she spoke up "Blossom, Sakuya-Hime." once she had spoke those words, a thin pink aura began to quickly coat the entire length of her swords edge "I don't care who you are or what you want but get away from him now!" Sumire had shouted, her gentle voice straining a little at how loud she was. As she drew closer Sumire drew her sword back and thrusted it forward, intent on using her blades length to her advantage since all she had to do was get one scratch on Moth and the poison would begin to take effect.

The 5th Seat of the 2nd Division continued to follow the oil trail, moving quicker now that she had a physical trail to follow. However, some would deign to interrupt her tracking with questions. The first was the silver haired Shinigami. She didn't know who this guy was, but he wasn't helping her concentration. She let out a low growl of annoyance at his questions, as if to say 'let me do my job'. However, the questions wouldn't end with him. The Shinigami that was recently enclosed in the barrier had broken free and caught up to them. She had a question of her own. At least it was only one question. However, that question would be answered almost immediately, but not by Saki. Her prey had showed himself, and a wild smirk crossed the face of the Wolf-Girl. The smirk wouldn't last, as the Ryoka had thrown out some sort of device that caused the gravity to disappear from the area. That thing needed taken care of immediately. Luckily, Saki had a way to get to it.
First off, Saki would decide to use an all out attack with her Feral Charge. That thing had to get destroyed as soon as possible. Afterwards, she would orient herself to face the device, before bursting her Spirit Energy backwards to propel herself forward with her Howling Rush, the Wolf's howl echoing throughout the immediate area, striking as soon as she was near and on the ground. With her footing, she just had to make sure she wouldn't do anything to launch herself too badly. Next, she would follow up with another strike, wanting to do as much damage to the device as possible.
Aidoneus stepped down on one of the dividing walls that separated that many path ways that twisted, and turned throughout the expanse of the Seireitei. Since his experiences back in the graveyards he had been focusing on the Reiatsu of his fellow Vice Captains making his way towards the highest concentration in hope that they were on the trial of the second Ryoka that was on the loose. Kicking off the wall in the same breath as he had stepped down upon it he continued following a mental layout of the streets of the seireitei he had mapped out in his mind's eye. If he kept on the path he was following it would not be long at all until he met up with the group by the way they were moving it certainly seemed like they were on the trail. He was almost upon them when a strange ripple went through his senses a strange spiritual pressure that invoked the image of a cold steel blade pressed against one's throat. There wasn't time to question that feeling he was already picking up the pace without the doubt the Ryoka had made himself known.
With quick steps he ascended a two story finally able to get eyes upon his fellow shinigami, as well as the strange Ryoka that seemed to step right out of thin air. The act itself was something Aidoneus was quite familiar with in his own recent personable experiences, and seeing a Ryoka having his own way of going about it was quiet troubling. Leaping off the roof he moved to join the battle unknowingly stepping into the outer edges of the field of reverse gravity that the Ryoka's strange device was creating. It was certainly jarring to find oneself weightless in a three dimensional space he could already feel his sense of balance being off kilter. He would not deny it this Ryoka was clever though this was only a momentary set back if he thought it would stop a shinigami from moving he clearly did not not study his supposed prey very well.
Focusing spirit particles beneath his feet he created his own footing it would do much in helping him get used to the feeling of being weightless, but it would give him enough freedom of movement. "Rule from Below, Mienaimono." the words fell softly from his lips as he gripped tight the hilt of his zanpakuto drawing it forth one fluid motion. The entirety of it's surface from tip, to pummel already pitch black as it extended itself the blade itself twisting, and breaking off into two sharpened point. With the rush of power the came with the release he could already feel it doing it's best to counteract the strangeness of their environment. Springing into action he pushed off from the hardened spirit particles his form turning into a blur as he disappeared in a flash of speed.
In only a few steps he was behind the Ryoka some 20 feet away Mienaimono held out it's dual prongs pointing towards Moth's shadow. Many of the other's were already on the move reacting with the quick response Aidoneus expected of his fellow Shinigami he could trust them to keep Moth distracted long enough for him to strike. "Your Sins have caught up with you...Assassin." speaking to himself he channeled his reiatsu through Mienaimono. From Moth's own shadow a new attack came at him a specter made of pure darkness reaching out around him towards his eyes wishing to sink their claws in deep.

Shikai Ability: Using Mienaimono as a focus Aidoneus brings forth a dark specter from his opponents shadow that reaches around them to grab at their eyes. For the purpose of the attack the opponent's clarity is treated as 10 less. Achana "Maple" Sonozaki, the notoriously lazy Fourth Seat of the Thirteenth Court Guard Squad showed up on the scene holding a stack of papers. She was really looking for her superior officer as she had been alerted that a Hell Butterfly had been issued and it needed several stamps and some signatures for approval. Upon seeing the situation at hand, Achana then threw her papers up into the air and just let them scatter into the wind. "Paperwork cant wait, even if there's work to be done...", she sighed softly as she drew her zanpakuto and prepared to join the combat. "Honestly...I hate fighting, so I wont.", she remarked after wordlessly releasing the blade into it's shield form.
The massive, black, tower shield slammed into the ground as she drug it along with her. Achana then picked up one document and extended it to the pink cat-like officer of her division. The raven-haired shield maiden was really one for the paperwork and kept to it even if she had to lose a bunch of arbitrary filler. The details could be screwed, she needed signatures and authorizations. "Ma'am, you need to get your authorization and signature placed on form twenty b, and thirty-two c. You honestly forgot to authorize Squad Thirteen to pay for any potential damages to Squad Eleven should the Hell Butterfly you dispatched sully their squad barracks. Hasn't happened before...but covering our asses here.", she remarked as the dutiful fourth seat clung to her shield incase an attack were to come here way.
Who would've thought that victory would've come at such an opportune time? His kidou meant solely to imprison for the others to capitalize on worked just as planned. It had to, the end result was meant to turn out this way. Watching the being fall lifelessly to the ground face first put his spirit at ease. Though it was only short-lived once he heard him speak on Karakura Town being gone. Dotsu's eyes widened slightly out of surprise. Exactly what was the end goal here?
Thankfully the altered gravity dissipated leaving everyone to land on their feet. Though for Dotsu, he was led to sit on the ground as Sumire began to remove the blade in his bicep. A temporary medical attention given the circumstances was understandable. Enough for Dotsu to not even say a word in response. Instead his eye twitched a bit as his bicep was reacting to the extraction. It was sharp but bearable and the bandaged made the pain feel like nothing but a measley sting. With all the other soul reapers gathered and the news of Karakura Town being destroyed left so many questions to wanderlessly roam. With patience and a bit of effort, Dotsu used his good arm to push himself back to his feet. "My whole division was attacked by this one person and with each encounter, he deliberately came after me. He even went as far as to call me a quarry. There's too many pieces left to this puzzle...excuse me." Not one left for further conversation as he knew nothing else to say. All he knew was, a few members were slaughtered and he was the next target. If what everybody else said was true, then Dotsu needed to be prepared like everyone else. Something is coming.
While following Saki and Dotsu, Agito noticed that Vice Captain Sanada had also joined the party. She had apparently healed from whatever injuries she had and she was here to finish the job, Agito could respect that. Suddenly a thought crossed Agito's mind, he had forgotten something urgent! Damn! I can't believe I could've forgotten. Agito thought to himself. He needed to leave quickly and tend to some pressing business, just had to think of the best way to make his exit.
Out of the blue, Moth's voice was heard as Agito felt his feet lifting from the ground.Talk about bad timing Agito's eyes finally caught moth as he pressed into a building and eyed his target, Dotsu. "Assimilate, Yokuatsu." Agito spoke calmly as he drew his sword, each inch of the blade changing form as it's steel met the air, changing to it's Shikai state. "Hadou # 333 Piercing Trident, Hadou #57: Mizu no Ryuu!" Agito summoned the power of the kidou chanted but, instead of releasing it as an attack, he funneled it into his blade. Agito's eyes locked in on Moth as he made contact with Dotsu. Just as he did it seemed a whole swarm of shinigami sprang into action some stabbing some blasting him with kidou and spirtual waves while others even manipulating his very shadow, truly remarkable.
Agito swiped his arm and released an aftermath crescent blade flying towards Moth. The blade had the properties of water, thanks to his Mizu no Ryuu kidou and pure reishi, thanks to his Piercing trident. Agito did not wait to see if the strike landed, using it as a cover to try and make an exit so that he could tend to his pressing business. As Agito let loose the slash, the power propelled his body in the opposite direction, pushing him close enough to a nearby building to get his feet on.
