Personality: Krissy can be incredibly stubborn, once she sets her mind on something often times she won't stop until she gets her goal. Often times her temper will flare up and this stubbornness will show through an argument, as she doesn't always play well with others. But in that same way her stubbornness is also one of her great strengths, especially if she cares about someone. When someone forms a bond with her, she gets clingy and overly-attached, wanting to hug them and never let go. When it gets right down to battle, Kris likes to try to be stealthy, despite having a massive greatsword strapped across her back, and a tail. But, when the coins are down, and the dice roll against her in odds, she'll take out the blade and start swinging like a wild, well, dragon. She has a bit of a berserk streak, especially if one of her friends gets hurt, something just flips in her brain and goes to berserk mode, beating the ever loving snot out of the opponent, often times until they are a bloody mess. Kris has a big heart, and a soft spot for animals - particularly cats and lizards, and she picks missions that will help people the most.

History: Kris is the great-granddaughter of Kiyo, the current clan Elder, although she doesn't know it. She was born to the Village Hidden in the Sand, her mother - Kiyo's Granddaughter, Ko Ikazuchi, fell in love with a human man from the Village Hidden in the Stone. When they asked Kiyo for his permission he forbade it, knowing that the man was a Ninja with no honor, as he had abandoned his home and left his Squadmates to die, Kiyo wanted no part of the man and refused to allow his granddaughter to marry the scoundrel. But, that didn't exactly work. One night, a few days after Kiyo went to check on her as he hadn't heard from her in those few days, all he found was a note saying "Your permission doesn't matter grandfather, I am pregnant and I love him. I am going to marry him and you shall not hear from me ever again."
Kris was born that year, in a small hut inside of the Sand Village. When she was little she was taken by her father for some fishing in a lake that bordered the Land of Wind and Land of Earth, but there was a boating accident. A monsterous fish had shattered the boat beneath them, stealing away her father to the depths of the lake, as Kris swam for her life trying to get away. She only got away thanks to the efforts of a ninja who happened to be in the area at the time. Kris spotted the symbol for the Hidden Sand on the headband and knew then and there she wanted to become a ninja.
Kris had to trek home by herself, alone and hungry, when she finally reached the grounds of the village she passed out. When she woke up she was in the hospital being taken care of by doctors and nurses, she couldn't make out what they were saying, but she recognized her mom was there.
Years went by, Kris was now about 14 years old, on her first C ranked mission ever, and it was escorting her mom along the highway. They were just on the way to a small town nearby to get some medical supplies, it shouldn't have been that big a deal. But on their way home, in the middle of the night, they were ambushed by bandits. Her mom was cut down before her eyes, and something deep inside of Kris snapped, as she let out an ear splitting primal roar, sweeping up a massive two handed blade and started to swing it wildly. Her scales turned to a deep crimson red and bronze as her berserk anger swung her through, cutting down the bandits like they were little more than wheat in a field.
She picked up her mothers body, and carried it with her back to the Sand Village, all the way back to their little hut on the outskirts of town. Before Kris would use her earth and fire style jutsu's to give her mother an immortal tomb of black stone that shone like the sun.
Her mother's parting gift in hand, a dagger she called "Blood Dragon", Kris went to the Kazekage's office begging, pleading that she be allowed to participate in the Chuunin Exams, she wanted to bring honor to the Sand Village and become a great shinobi to live up to her mothers dreams.
And she was granted it, surpassing the Chuunin exams with ease and forging her first blade to commemorate the event, she called it "Fire Rose" after her second name, which she was told was the name her mother always wanted to name her.
Over the next few years Kris took on allot of dangerous missions, often working solo and very rarely working with a team. Whenever she was with a team often times she ignored them and did it her way anyway. Her last mission could be called a success, in the end the objective was done, but there were just more enemies she had to deal with. In the report filed by her team, it was the entire enemy camp as she just recklessly charged into the foe swinging her sword left right and center.
Upon returning to the village she figured she might as well report to the Kazekage's office, to get yelled at again.
Traumas: She is utterly terrified of deep water from longstanding nightmares of drowning.
Both of her parents died in front of her eyes, and she is deeply terrified of loosing someone she makes a connection with. As such she has a hard time working well with a team.

Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Description: In this more advanced jutsu, the user stomps their foot onto the ground and it begins to shake. A large, bronze dragon head peaks out of the ground and roars to reveal its lengthy stone body. Then it dives back under, traveling to the opponent through the ground. When it finally reaches the opponent it shoots up in full dragon form and smashes into them with an enormous force, exploding on contact. The explosion causes the dragon's bronze body to move outward with immense force. After several handsigns, the user will stomp the ground, causing the official description to happen. After the initial casting, the dragon can follow the target around for up to two of the user's posts, & contains 5 explosive notes' worth of power.
Kazangan Doryuudan no Jutsu [ Volcanic Dragon Blast ]

Official Description: Creating a gigantic oriental bronze dragon head from the ground, this jutsu summons up magma from within the planet's center, and blasts it towards the target. Description: The practitioner imbues their blade with chakra before attempting to thrust forward in order to impale the target. If the thrust misses, the chakra is sent off roughly three yards in an attempt to catch the out-of-range target. Although at a greater range, this is a weaker form of the attack. If the target is successfully impaled, the chakra will spin outward, rending and rapturing the wound further.

If the attack is blocked by anything other than the strongest of structures, it will surely snap, and the blade will likely continue through to slay the target. As the knife drops, the practitioner will time a kick in order to punt the knife upward- back into the opponent's exposed body. If truly successful, the knife will typically end up somewhere in the head of the enemy.

The user builds up chakra in a freehand, then surges it to the finger tips of the same hand, causing a very thin and short ranged aura to form. Countering Technique: Oopsie and Over

As an enemy attempts to deliver a straight forward attack, typically a punch or lunge, the user will grab the enemy's arm, and twist. Then, making use of their superior footwork and agility, leap overhead while still holding the arm, sufficiently causing severe pain, broken bones, or popped sockets.

The user forms a powerful chakra aura around a knife, causing it to become lost in a haze, no longer appearing as an object, merely a flaming sharp shape in the user's hand. From here, the user will attempt to deliver a powerful hilt slam to one of the target's limbs. If contact is made with an arm or leg, it will cause said limb to go limp. With a single unhindered and swift motion, a true samurai can unsheathe his weapon and strike at the exact same time. This can provide an elegant, yet effective way to catch your opponent off guard, or as a means to interrupt handsigns. Note that this ability only shows true effectiveness upon the drawing of a weapon from its sheathe. Losing some of its element of surprise after being used once and then resheathed. ( This attack's rank mimics whatever stage of Tetsu no Ryu you are in. For example, if you are in Stage 5, this technique is considered rank A. )
A Decade of Peace

A Decade of Peace is at its core a defensive technique, envisioned in the mind that a true master of the sword need not use his prowess to find peace. This technique allows the user to find, through concentration, the point of their enemy’s own attack, diverting it with a quick stab of their blade below their weapon or limbs, then utilizing the flat of the blade diverts the attack overhead, while their free palm presses against the opponents chest, shoving them away, before sheathing your own blade in the gap provided. This technique can be easily paired with a number of jutsu to escape battle, or as bait to enrage your opponent.
Ryūtsuisen [ Dragon Hammer Strike ]

The "Dragon Hammer" is a sword-drop technique delivered from above, targeting the crown of the head or the shoulder of the adversary. The key to the technique lays in the momentum gained from the user’s jump and the free-fall, which is applied to the sword to multiply the force of the sword-stroke.

Ryūtsuisen: Zan [ Dragon Hammer Strike: Tragedy ]

A brutal variation of the origin, Zan utilizes a sword impalement or plant, rather than a cross body strike. While this vastly increases the lethality of the move on a general basis it does allow for non-lethal takedowns without using the blunt end of the weapon, as a skilled practitioner can target a specific limb or location to assault.
Turning Swallow Cut

Utilizing chaka to stimulate the nervous system, this cut is reputedly so quick and precise that it can strike down a bird in mid-flight. It is a downward strike the flicked back up into an upward strike, both strong enough to effortlessly slice through even the hardest wood.
Chakra Scabbard

After mastering two techniques, Iaido and any one other, a student is capable of awakening the true signature of the Tetsu no Ryu. A Samurai's blade becomes rife with pure chakra that crackles and dances around the blade. A blade properly focused is quite capable of cutting through even the thickest steel.

Twin Dragon Strike: Lightning

This technique does not rely on the utilization of Iaido, as it first strikes with the scabbard of the weapon, using the shock effect of being attacked with an improvised weapon, or the opening that follows an opponent’s dodge to follow the initial strike up with the actual bladed weapon.

Form Manipulation

Truly skilled practitioners learn to shape the chakra around their weapon into different shapes. From a lance to a broadsword, anything is possible. However, while anything may be possible some forms will of course be difficult to maintain, requiring extra chakra expenditure. For every dimensional five feet after the first, the jutsu will require an extra ten [10] chakra.

Pressure Wave

When swinging your weapon, you can create a crescent shaped chakra wave, five feet wide by one foot long, that can travel up to about 100ft before dissipating. A hit from it can be as strong or possibly even stronger than a normal blow. Unfortunately- it leaves your katana without a chakra scabbard and you must activate it again.

Hachiware [ Helmet Breaker ]

This overhead blow is designed to go THROUGH a person, horse, and armor, all in one blow, by utilizing one’s chakra to actively sharpen the blade of your weapon. However, this fine point chakra manipulation creates crevices in the blade of your weapon, effectively making it useless after the fact, as any parrying blow would cause the rigid workings of the blade to crack entirely.
• This technique breaks most normal weapons.
• This technique can be blocked by an equal level bukijutsu or broken by Kai.
• This technique can only ‘kill’ if the opponent is willing, otherwise it merely wounds/incapacitates if not blocked.
Two As One

You are actually able to make two blows at once. A normal sword blow and a chakra saber blow. This second blow is almost impossible to see coming, but can be blocked by a chakra force of the same rank as it disrupts the chakra scabbard’s free movement.

Description: The user unleashes a powerful uppercut filled with elemental chakra that is done is a rising fashion. Generally used as a counter attack, this move works best if the whole body is coiled low and then sprung up for a high-force blow that uses the enhanced strength and elemental prowess of the clan to knock the opponent high up into the air, about 30 yards (90 feet). This move can be used as an introduction to a combination or plainly just to knock the opponent high into the air. If it is done as a regular uppercut (no coiling or rising of the whole body) it will only send the opponent about 15 yards (45 feet) into the air.
