 Your first post is essential, as it will give us the information we really need at first glance. Your first post should always contain this information:
Characters Name
Race
Zodiac Sign
Academy House or University
Gender
Starting Stage
Body Type Base
Are you questing an infected?
Are you questing a character who knows illegal spells?
Brief Description of Appearance or Custom Form
When making your brief description of appearance, please include any information on their appearance, such as traits, markings, hair color, clothing, or anything you deem important to your character. Keep in mind if they are picked up from this forum, the colorists will be looking at your thread.
You may format this as you wish, but it must be obvious that the first post contains this information. Keep in mind the rules within the shop! Aside from the first post, you may organize the rest of your thread however you wish.
At the bottom of this post is a quest skeleton for you to use- please copy and paste that exact form into your quest to fill out. This will provide you the basics for everything that you need to begin on your quest. While you may separate the "Personality" and "Strengths/Weaknesses" section from the form, your first post must always contain the top portion of the quest skeleton.
This quest skeleton must be used in all quests. You may separate the top portion for your first post, but your second post must contain the personality and strengths/weaknesses section. If you have any questions please feel free to PM a Loremaster for assistance. You may make edits/changes to the form, but all required information must be filled out before your quest can be approved.

Who is this person? What are they like? What has their life been like so far? Are the a Cache Orphan? (Note: Daydreams and Daydream Hybrids cannot be cache orphans.) If they are an orphan (of any sort), how has that affected their life so far? If they aren't, what's their family like? What's an event that's affected them so far? How do they feel about their own race, as well as other races? And how do/did they feel about their Academy House or University? What are their goals for the future? What are some things they like or dislike? What do they like to do in their free time? Be sure to answer all of these questions in this section.

Please choose an RP prompt and respond to it here. If you would prefer to do a solo on a topic of your choosing, it must be 500 words in length and you must write out what the prompt is much like our own provided prompts. (If you want you can submit it to be used for others!)

We have a specific form we would like you to use for the rest of your quest, outlined in the above post. While the information outlined in this post is needed and required, we ask you to please use that form.
Your quest must have a backstory for your character. While a fair amount of the current characters are orphans, that isn't necessarily true for all characters. We want to see the backstory of your character, and there's certain things that must be mentioned within your quest:
A brief overview of their life so far
Whether or not they're an orphan from the cache [Note: remember, Daydreams or hybrids containing Daydream races cannot be cache orphans!]
How their status as an orphan or non-orphan has affected them
One event that changed their life or effected them
How they feel about their race and house
Their goals in life
While these are mandatory, and we have a quest skeleton below for you to use! How you choose to address these required topics is up to you.
Your quest must have a personality for your character. We want to see how your character works, and there's certain things that must be mentioned within your quest:
Positive and negative traits.
Likes and dislikes
Hobbies
While these are mandatory, you may format this information however you like! Positive and Negative traits must be expanded on, and they are separated from the main body of your character's personality/backstory but should be mentioned within it. They should be limited to personality traits only.
To help customers make questing as painless as possible, we also are going to state what we're looking for when it comes to critiquing, and what our judging will be based on. Below is a condensed list of what we're exactly looking for:
Backstory and personality must work together and be believable. If something traumatic happened, there should be consequences.
Your character's backstory must fit the lore and setting of the shop.
If your character is an orphan from the cache, they most likely will never discover who their parents were. However if your character were to suspect they were related to someone, there are genetic tests available. They are very expensive to get though.
If your character is not an orphan from the cache, please be very careful that their family background fits the lore of the race you've selected. If you have any questions feel free to PM a member of staff to get them clarified.
If a staff member points out a mistake in your quest, you must address their concern. Most likely, if you follow the tips above you'll have less trouble with critiquing! Just be mindful of how believable your character is, and how the shop works!

One post must be dedicated to a RP prompt, and the response. We aren't judging based on your writing skills, but instead on how your character acts and if they fit lore! Don't worry if you're not a strong writer! We aren't looking at grammar or spelling. Your RP response must:
Include the prompt at the beginning of your post.
Be at least 250 words.
Respond to the entirety of the prompt.
Response takes place during the stage your Nightmare/Daydream will be won at.
You may opt to create your own prompt to respond to, you must write it out at the top of your post like normal. Response length must be 500 words.
You may choose one prompt, or you can choose several! You must address a staff member's concern if they point out you haven't correctly filled out the RP response.
You may choose from any of these prompts for your RP response! More prompts will be added as time goes on.
Prompt One Oh no! Your Nightmare has lost something that is very dear them! What have they lost, and how do they react?
Prompt Two Your Nightmare sees an abandoned plushie sitting on the ground by a tree in the courtyard. It looks nearly new and kind of expensive! What does your Nightmare do after they notice it?
Prompt Three Your Nightmare has to write an essay on what they want to be when they grow up. Do they procrastinate, or get to work immediately? What is their essay about?
Prompt Four A smart-mouthed peer just told your Nightmare that they're a failure to their race. How do they react?
Prompt Five Your Nightmare has just woken up on a day where they have class. What is their morning ritual? How do they get ready?
Prompt Six Something has just reminded your Nightmare of a poignant memory. What was it, and what was the memory?
