With or without the title, you can tell what this car's purpose is as soon as you step through the doors. Coffee, syrups on fresh baked pastries and teas of all kind are being made at all times in the slim kitchen hidden by cotton curtains behind the bar. Comfy chairs and small tables provide a sweet area to relax and watch the terrain pass through the narrow windows. A man named Savan will serve you.

As Alice puffed, popped and shattered her way through her teleportation spell, the train started to chug, chug, chug along the tracks. Thankfully they had already set up the larger teleportation portal through the Ural mountains, and thus wouldn't have nearly as long a journey as they had getting to the station. The children were safe, she hoped, inside; she only had to wait until she was found or they reached the school; whichever came first. She dusted the black and gold dust off her clothing and sneezed. The man behind the counter tried to hold in a chuckle, but his dulcet tones reached Alice's ears and she rolled her eyes. She sat down on a small cushion looking out over the terrain of West Russia as the man came over to pour her a cup of tea. She wondered briefly where Mephistopheles and the Poppy the train queen wound up. Inside the train, of course, but as to where was rather a mystery. Alice didn't particularly like mysteries, but her curiosity usually got the best of her. The young headmaster held the teacup up to her nose and took a light sniff, her lips curling into a smile as she gave an appreciative nod towards her tea master."Twinkle twinkle, little bat~ How I wonder what you're at? Up above the world you fly, like a tea cart in the sky~..." She hummed, leaning against the window with her cup and coaster set in her lap.

Anhalt found himself a nice quiet area to relax, and get some food and drink. He had dropped off his stuff earlier at his cabin, but decided to leave since it was getting too crowded, and he didn't want to intrude. Even if it was his own dorm, people still had their own conversations going in there. And to be honest, he really didn't want to. They all seemed to be talking about very strange stuff, so he decided against trying to join in on anything. Besides, they all seemed to be getting along nicely, and he didn't want to cause any kind of discord. And he was pretty sure he'd fit in better here than anywhere else, due to how he was raised. It sure beat sitting in the dining car and listening to people chew with their mouths open, or talk with their mouths full. Oh, how the thoughts just made him shudder. Though sometimes he wished to join them in doing so, if not to try and momentarily escape his little world of "perfection". Shaking his head slightly, he noticed now that there was, in fact, another person in here. Even though he had seen her momentarily, he couldn't mistaken that strange ticking and clock anywhere else. It was the Headmistress... or, as she seemed to like to be called, Headmaster. He stood there for a moment, debating within his own mind on whether to approach her, and sit a bit away, as to not disturb her. He didn't know of any of her duties, so he wasn't sure if she was relaxing after a very busy day, or if she was just being lazy. Then again she did use magic, and maybe that tired her out? So many possibilities ran through his head, but he couldn't decide on a single one. And so, he decided to just sit a bit further away from her, keeping to himself for now. Or, at least, until he knew if she was wanting to relax alone or not.

Alice's teacup sat carefully on her lap as it cooled, its lady's finger tracing the rim carelessly as she stared out the window. Her eyes danced across the pane of reinforced glass, following the telephone pole cords as they passed. The train was still picking up speed, and would continue to do so even past the high mountains they had yet to even near. She was counting quietly to herself, but the numbers were incoherent as if she were counting different things at the same time. "46, 17, 98, 57,245, 2..." She was concentrating so hard that it appeared she hadn't noticed the door opening and one of her students entering, but as her view was obstructed by the train's entering a tunnel, her counting stopped and she sipped her tea slowly, turning to look up at the boy as he sat a little ways away from her. Her tea was cool enough now for her to drink it comfortably without scorching herself, and perhaps ruining her rather enigmatic aura, she drank it in one fell swoop. Alas, the poor teacup was emptied of it's warm contents, and its lady set it on her cushion as she stood and drew near her observer. "May I help you, Mr. Anhalt?" She asked, her voice picking up in pitch revealing her excitement. Her grin was wide and her golden eyes sparkled, but again Savan choked back a laugh and her eyes darted up and glared, though that evidently did nothing as the man continued, minding not the small headmaster. Alice wiggled her nose and sat down across from the boy, folding her hands in her lap with a slightly more refined air. "You were watching me. Do you have a question?" She asked again, this time keeping her voice in a more even tone so as not to be laughed at again by the tea master.

Anhalt wasn't currently paying too much attention to his surroundings, and was focused more on the floor. The reason for that being... well, there were only two other people in here, and he wasn't sure if one of them even talked. He gave a quiet sigh before raising his head, only to notice how close the Headmaster was to him. This alone made him jump slightly to the side, since he wasn't too used to people actually talking to him... especially after that day. He also found the sudden change in her pitch quite strange, but decided to say nothing about it. He wasn't too sure what she would've done to him if he did. "Ah... no, I was just exploring. And this seemed like the quietest place, so I immediately felt at home." he replied, giving a nervous chuckle. Was it strange that she actually weirded him out right now? Because she honestly did. Even though he wasn't that used to people talking to him, he knew that people didn't have this much excitement all the time. At this point he just slid back a bit from her, not wanting to be the main target of all her excitement. And what was up with that sudden nose wiggling? Something very strange was going on here. But he didn't want to figure out what it was. When she asked the same question a second time, but this time in a more... well, regular tone, he just shook his snowy white hair. "Not exactly watching as much as studying." he replied without thinking. It didn't really strike him as odd, since he pretty much meant the whole "clock" and "strings" thing. Though of course she probably didn't know about this. So it was likely to be quite awkward. "But as I had said, I was just looking for a quiet place to relax, and this seemed to be the best choice, since I don't think anyone else here was raised the same as me." he replied once more, answering her question again. But had anyone else here been raised up the same as him? Or were they all mostly lower class? It really did make him wonder, at times.

"Immediately at home, eh~?" The headmaster hummed, looking out the window again. Her mouth formed a tight frown, but her expression didn't look angry in the least. More like she was trying to remember something. After a short while she just shook her head and sighed, "Must be nice." She didn't exactly remember the feeling of "at home." The vague memories she had of the past before she woke up four years ago weren't the most reassuring, but she had already come to terms with them, for the most part. She still wondered at them, though. She was roused from her quickly circulating thoughts as Anhalt spoke again, although at this her eyes narrowed and she scooted slightly further away. She wasn't sure how anyone would exactly react to finding out who or what she was; even her assistant Mephistopheles didn't know... She hoped. After an almost uncharacteristic amount of silence on her side, she smiled sheepisly and lowered her guard a tad as he continued speaking. Didn't seem like he knew anything. She didn't really get how he thought how was raised would effect where people would be on the train, but instead of prying with her own abilities she just tried to read his face... Although that only annoyed her. He seemed snobbish to her. She smirked and rested her head on her hands, where her elbows rested on her knees. Her golden eyes flashed almost like a star, though perhaps a little colder. "Studying me, hm? Am I an interesting subject?" She asked, nodding towards Savan as he came over with a scone and looked towards the boy. "Would you like tea, sir?" He asked, his voice rather hoarse and low. Alice took the plate from the tea master and set it on the table in front of her

Mephistopheles lifted an eyebrow at Poppi rather lengthy response to his comment of a brief reign. Not quite what he had expected but interesting never the less. He held a quiet smirk as she pointed right at his nose as she went on with her little speech. When she was done though, she grabbed his hand and proceeded to lick up its length. He contained a grimace but his expression did freeze in a practiced smile that betrayed his actual feelings of the sudden action. As she released his hand, he restrained himself from taking the glove off and tossing it. Instead he continued to listen as she continued to speak once again. After saying something interesting, she went on about food and things. Before he could really say anything in response however, Alice declared that they were running late.
The next thing the magician knew, he was in the train once more and within one of the halls. Not seeing Poppi nearby, he removed his glove and tossed it out in front of him. Before it hit the ground, he teleported it back into his hand selectively leaving the saliva behind letting the droplets simply hit the floor. He sighed then pulled the glove back over his ivory hand. His thoughts of his abandoned tea came back to him. Having left the nearly full pot in the tea car, he hoped it hadn't gotten too cold. If it had he would need to request or prepare a fresh one. He went ahead an entered the tea car that he realized he was conveniently nearby then saw that the Headmaster was already inside along with another student. He grinned upon seeing her, "Headmaster," he gave his standard greeting to her with a slight bow as he walked in. He turned away from her and beelined to the table he had left with his glass of floral tea still resting on a saucer. Shame was, it had already gone lukewarm as he expected it would. It would need to be replaced. This is exactly went on ahead to do. Now he went ahead behind the counter and prepared a new pot himself. He was a fickle person and enjoyed mixing and experimenting with mixing the leaves himself. He made one that was a blend of hibiscus, raspberries, and green tea among other things. This time though, it was iced so he wouldn't have worry about it going cold. It was a change from his preferred hot teas. He proceeded to pour out several glasses of the stuff. He grabbed two of them and some straws. He walked over to Alice, "Here, if you may," he said placing one of the glasses of tea on the table in front of her to get her opinion. A whole raspberry adorned the top of the drink with two whole tea leaves and pieces of freshly crushed raspberries floated in the drink. Now the clown had gotten habit of trying to make new teas and having Alice try them out. Seeing the student there, he went on ahead give him the second glass setting it in front of him with only a smile. He would then grab another glass for himself and seat himself back at his original table.

Anhalt raised a slight eyebrow at the Headmaster's expression, but decided to no longer think anything about it. Everyone was strange in their own way, so she must've had strange expressions. Giving a quiet sigh, he turned his head the opposite direction the Headmaster was facing, so that he no longer saw the clock above her head. Just looking at it was starting to give him a headache. Though only now did he think about one of his previous sentences. Home. Apparently it was where the heart is, but his was broken a couple years ago. So did that technically make him homeless? His face adopted a slightly melancholic expression before returning back to normal, turning to face the Headmaster once more. He noticed that she had moved further away, but thought it was because the train hit a bump and she was sent slightly flying. But he didn't remember hitting any bumps. It was a very smooth ride so far, actually. He was pulled from his slight mesmerised state as he heard her speak once more, about being an interesting subject. "It's... kind of difficult to explain really. I'll just say that everyone here has a different limit." he replied, though he didn't exactly state what kind of limit. Of course he was talking about their time left on this world, but she possibly wouldn't know that. Or would she? He wasn't quite sure what she was capable of, so he decided not to put it past her. He jumped slightly when the serving man approached, asking him if he would like tea. "Ah... Jasmine Tea, if possible pease." he responded, giving a nod and a smile. Though he once again nearly jumped out of his skin when someone new approached once more. Though this man wasn't exactly new. He was the man that he had gotten a slight glimpse of earlier at the station. He seemed to be quite strange, so Anhalt made a mental note to himself not to say any bad about, or to, the other male. Turning his head to look out the window, he gave another quiet sigh, though this one was a bit happier sounding. He was really enjoying the silence right now. Once more turning his head as he heard the mae speak, he saw a very strange looking drink slipped to the Headmaster. He was actually curious about it, and quite surprised when a cup was slipped towards him, also. "Thank you." he said quietly, giving a slight nod of his head as he picked the cup up, taking a small sip. It was actually quite tasty, surprisingly enough. Quite the change from what he drank back home. Though once again the thought gave him a melancholic expression. "It's strange, running away from home. You never truly realize what's missing until you do." he blurted randomly, taking another sip of the tea before setting it down once more.

Poppi was suddenly in a whole other world! She didn't know where she was! There were voices, it was dark- Where was she! There was a smell though... What was this smell! SHE NEEDED TO FOLLOW THE SMELL! The scent of tea was pushing through her nostrils, she was almost going crazy over the aroma. Almost. As she busted through the barrier, she saw the light!! And the face of a white haired man. She was actually, somehow, underneath a part of the seat. She busted out beside Anhalt, her arms up in victory, as she heaved heavy breaths. "I HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!" She yelled out. She looked around, a wide grin on her face. She then looked down and the grin fell. Poppi jumped out and onto the table, looking down at the seat. She blinked a few times and rolled off of the table and laid on the ground. "AH-AH-AH-AH-AH- ILLFIXTHAT!" She cried out as she just kinda laid on the ground. "Mmmm... Comfy...."

From the moment he awoke from one of the hallway seats, his eyes felt like they were in a sort of dull dream. A dream that would make him want to go into another dream and think of nothing, but beaches and swimsuits. He looked to the side and saw a rambunctious girl rush into a cabin. He sighed lightly as he knocked the rest of the weekly times magizine off of his nose. As he put his arms up, stretching and yawning, he frowned while his grunt told the story of a man tired of his own s**t. He stood from the chair and walked forward with a hand in his pocket, an eye closed, and a mouth smacking. The hand opened the door to see several people. Two who he knew well. He gave a lazy wave to the students, who seemed to have more energy than him as he passed the two, taking the pitcher of ice tea that was made by the young ring master himself. The man took a swig of it as he exhaled in relief after as his words came [FROM THE MIGHTY VOICE ACTOR CHRIS SABAT ] "You did a nice job on this drink Cain, if I say so myself." He told while sitting down in a seat near Alice while looking at the mess on the floor. His eyes closed while he lifted his chin, before opening one eye to look at Alice. She seemed to be interested in the ivory haired kid. His mouth exhaled before he showed a great grin that was toothy while he said, "Wish you'd look at me like that every once in a while."

Alice continued to stare at Anhalt, her smirk sticking plainly as he had his own episodes of expressions. Perhaps that was why she loved people; each person with their own set of expressions, thoughts and ways they perceive emotions. His words, the particular phrase "limit," intrigued her. Her mind raced with all the possible meanings, and though she could pick and prod at his brain to find the exact meaning, but if anyone ever found out there could be rather extensive problems with morale. There were too many options and variables, and with the sound of familiar footsteps, Alice had no time to question them. Her eyes finally flicked away from her student's, landing on the door at the end of the car as it opened to reveal her rather enigmatic assistant. She nodded in return to his simple greeting, but instead of returning her attention to Anhalt, she continued to observe her pupil as he made a new blend of tea. She always liked to watch when people worked. Though she knew Magic, Auras, History and so many other academic subjects, she could never really wrap her mind around the creation of food and drink. Or cleaning. Generally any kind of home economics. So, she simply watched as he worked his natural magic. As he set the cold glass in front of her she thanked him quietly, then proceeded to stare at it, studying it as if it were really alive. She sniffed it, she sipped it, swirled it in her mouth, and finally smiled, evidently quite pleased with the flavour. "Sweet like a raspberry tart. I'd say eighty-four points out of a hundred. A job well done indeed, Mephistopheles." She smiled, then leaving him to his own amusements. She figured he would prefer to observe her new student as she had. As her assistant clown left to another table her attention was again drawn to Anhalt, who began to reminisce or simply remember the times that came before. She took another sip of the iced tea, this one longer as she thought of the information she had gathered in general about her students. She put the glass down and let out a short sigh, before meeting his eyes with practiced grace. "I've never run away from a 'home,' but I do know the feeling. It's natural to forget the blessings we're given until they're stolen away from us." She said carefully as she took into account that truly few actually knew her origins, "However, you could say that my little school was created for the very purpose of becoming a home for those with nowhere else to go. That was one of my ulterior motives that I didn't divulge to the U.N." She laughed dryly, though her breath caught in her throat and she almost choked when Poppi, lovely Poppi, appeared "as if by magic" from inside the cushion beside Anhalt. Alice's face was more bemused than amused, but it quickly changed as she shook her head and remembered the spell she had cast on the remaining stragglers outside the train, laughing heartily at the girl's antics. Though, she thought, perhaps she should spend more time perfecting exactly where people wound up on the train. As Poppi rolled off the table, essentially knocking the headmaster's scone off as well, she crossed her legs and arms, finding it rather amazing that after all those years of waiting, she was finally faced with two flesh-and-blood children who came to her. And then there was another. The handsome counselor was evidently on the train as well, which Alice hadn't exactly planned. However, with the attitudes and hormones bouncing off the roof since the train station, perhaps it was best he had come along as he did. She rested her head on her hand as she stared at him sitting, wondering how he had the gall to refer to her assistant by his legal name. She rolled her eyes and drank again from her glass, popping the raspberry into her mouth and biting into it with a sour face, puckering her lips slightly at the taste. She quite liked fresh fruit; she'd have to get used to it being so easily obtained compared to before she awoke. However, as she swallowed, Alan said something that she couldn't help but laugh on pure principal, if not for anything else. She choked again but forced the raspberry and it's juice into submission via pure concentration, then reared on her head counselor. "My dear man, haven't I taught you not to flirt with those more than twice your age? Hm?" She said, her eyes alive with the joke and the possibility that it would cause confusion and mischief with their current company. Those on her staff knew, within reason, who and what she was, and from where and when. Some took it better than others, but they all got used to the idea after a while.
She hoped.

Mephistopheles gave the light-haired male a nod in response to the thanks the boy gave. It wasn't often that he found someone who he could literally look at eye to eye, as far as height was concerned that is. He then held the brightly colored drink in his gloved hands and took a sip. He was quite pleased with the end result and taste of the tea. He looked up from his seat in surprise as Poppi made a pretty flashy entrance. He watched the female jumping around and making somewhat of a mess. He chuckled softly, "My my, the queen returns to us," he remarked. Then he turned his attention to a staff member that entered the room shortly after. The man seemed to make a beeline to the pitcher of tea he prepared and poured himself some before complementing him on the concoction. The magician smiled, "Please, call me Mephistopheles," he insisted with an edge of intensity before continuing on, "and thank you very much." His heterochromia eyes flicked over to Alice as she gave his tea a compliment as well as a rating. "My graditude, one day I hope to find a blend worthy of a ten," he replied with slight melodrama at the last part putting a hand over his chest and looking to the side. After a moment, he returned to he previous stance and took another sip from the ice tea letting it chill him from the inside out. He looked back at the eccentric queen sitting on the floor, "Why don't you pour yourself a glass. I made it myself," he offered. He was proud of the tea blend he created and wanted more to try some.

Well soon everything began going downhill for the young man. He would've been perfectly fine with his current company, but soon more people appeared, each seeming to be more wild than the last. Of course he knew who none of them were, due to not having really met anyone outside the train. Or even in his own cabin. But first up was a green haired girl who suddenly appeared from the couch he was sitting on, causing him to fall over sideways. But instead of getting back up, he just continued to lie there. He was a bit confused, and his mind had yet to process everything that had just happened. It was like his whole body had just temporarily shut down on him. Well, the next guy wasn't really that wild, but he had still caught Anhalt off guard. It seemed that he knew the Headmaster and the strange man that had brewed up the strange tea. He hadn't caught the name, but it wasn't important right now. Maybe he would be introduced later. But finally he began to sit up, right as the Headmaster began speaking once more. "Never ran away, huh? That sounds nice... but it makes me wonder how many others ran away from their own hoes just to end up here." he replied, saying the last part quietly to himself. She soon began speaking to the brown haired man, talking about flirting with people- wait did she more than twice his age? He picked up the tea once more, sipping from it as he began eyeing everyone suspiciously. Just how many secrets were hanging around in here. Well, it wasn't like he wanted to know the, because he did value his own safety. And it'd probably be one of those "since we told you we have to kill you" situations. Turning his attention slightly away from the Headmaster, the tea making male began speaking once more. Aha! His name was Mephistopheles. Well, that was a strange name, but that just meant it would be harder to forget. He seemed to be quite proud of his own tea, offering some to everyone that began coming in. Soon Anhalt finished his own cup, setting back on the table in front of him. But it wasn't over yet, no not at all. He jumped as he heard someone loudly exclaim, having a very strange accent of their own. If he were to take a lucky guess, it sounded as if he were from somewhere in London. Where, exactly? Well, even Anhalt wasn't that good at guessing. Bu the new person seemed to be just as excitable as the green haired girl, which made Anhalt just kinda... scoot further away from them both. Well, at least he knew the new person's name was Jackdaw. Once again, another strange name, but it would be difficult to forget. "Well this is a... fun party. Kinda wish I brought my violin." he muttered quietly to himself, scratching the top of his head.
