FAQ ~ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do you catch pokemon?
A: There will be a list of Pokemon, and when you wish to catch one, you must roll and whichever number it lands on, that's the Pokemon you find. Please make sure it's a suitable post for battling, it should be at most a paragraph. Also please be certain you have a Pokeball to use to catch it. Make sure you are within the level, or at least higher in level. If the wild's is higher by a lot, there would be no way to catch it.
Q: Can I catch legendaries?
A: No, at no times can a trainer catch a Legendary. However, if you are a criminal, you may capture one and use a device to control it, but you cannot have the Pokemon be on your side without using a device.
Q: How many pokemon can I own?
A: As many as you want. Just don't go over-board though. :3
You can only carry 6 in your party though. The rest will be in your PC.
Q. Can you travel to other regions? you know, like from Kanto to Johto?
A. Yes, of course you can! There's many different ways of traveling to another region. For example, flying in a blimp, airplane, Pokemon, jet, train, or hot air balloon. As for path, walking through caves, or riding a flying or fast traveling Pokemon. For swimming, you can take a cruise, ride a Pokemon, or just swim. :3
Q. Where can i post if I want to role play catching a Pokemon?
A. Anywhere is fine! As long as it's in a forest or area that has a list of Pokemon on the front page to catch where you must roll the dice and it will decide the Pokemon you come upon. You may continue to keep rolling, but you can only catch one Pokemon a day. Training however is fine, you can train as many times on a Pokemon to level as you like. Again, please be sure to make decent posts though. Anything one sentence, will not be accepted.
Q. Can we use Legendaries in battle?
A: No, you may not own a legendary at any time. If you're a part of a bad organization, and you find a way to control a legendary using a device, that is however allowed. But at no time do you 'own it.'
Q: Can we own more then one gym?
A: No, I'd appreciate if everyone had the chance to own one.
Q: If a gym owner hasn't been on for a very long time, can I take there place?
A: Depends...if the leader has been gone for 3 months, with nearly no posts in the guild; most likely yes then. You must have at least 20 posts to do so, though.
Q: What happens if the gym leader is on vacation in real life, and I want to challenge them?
A: Somebody else will take there place just for that battle and challenge you.
Q: What if I own the gym I want to try and get a badge at?
A: Somebody else will take over the gym just for that battle, so you can challenge the gym.
Q: Can we trade/give away a pokemon to another trainer?
A: Yes. However you must use a Trading system, you cannot simply just hand the Pokeballs to one another. There will be plenty of places for trading purposes.
