To say he was surprised was an understatement. He hadn’t been expecting his doorbell to ring this late at night nor for what he found once he opened his door. Considering the war he was involved in he was used to a lot of things, many unexplained things which shattered the rules of science, but this...this was not one of them.
Laying in front of his door, clearly unconscious, was Aiden and he looked like a wreck. Bending he found his fingers sifting through the others hair. “What happened to you?” He whispered to no one in particular. What had happened to the other indeed. He looked like someone, or something, had beaten him up and as he inspected the unconscious male he found the other to be bleeding. Something had gotten him pretty good.
Glancing around, from right to left, he hesitated a mere moment before he was taking hold of the other. His arms slipping around the others torso as he dragged the others taller frame into his home.
Once he had Aiden inside he let him go, so he lay on the floor, and went to shut and lock his front door while calling out to let Katya know they had a guest and to not disturb him. He knew the cat wasn’t likely to bother him, she was likely busy with her little nose stuffed in a book, but he was polite if nothing else.
So, with Katya informed, he cast his eyes from Aiden to the stairs and back again. “I hate this.” He typically made it a rule to not power up in his house, he didn’t need his signature tracked to his home, but he needed to get the other up to his room. Cursing to himself, he let his uniform replace the normal clothing he’d been wearing and grasped his friend again. Hefting the other into his arms bridal style he hurried up stairs and down the hall to his room. Once there, he deposited Aiden onto his bed as gently as he could before powering down.
“I hope no one noticed that.” Forgetting completely that Katya could have masked his signature, he was a bit scatterbrained at the moment but that was understandable he figured. Rolling up his sleeves, not wanting to ruin his clothing, Alexandre ignored the fact he’d need to change his bedding when he rolled the other onto his stomach and slowly worked on peeling the others shirt off and lifting it over Aiden’s head before dropping the soiled article onto the carpeted floor of his bedroom. Fingers gently traced down the others back, down his spine, and over the gash marring the others flesh all the while noticing various bruises that marred his skin.
Biting his bottom lip the ashen blond hesitated before his hands slipped round to the others front and down to undo his pants and brought them, and whatever was worn under them, down and off the other slowly. Cursing the whole time, even as his cheeks heated to the point of being uncomfortable, he found his eyes unable to be torn away from the sight as he worked on divesting the other of his clothing even if it was a rather perverted thing to do - he just couldn’t help it.
With the other bare to him, pale cheeks tinted a flaming red. With haste Alex hurried off to the bathroom to get the first aid kit, all the while running his fingers ran through strands of blond hair as he tried to derail his thoughts from the path they were quickly traveling down. “He’s a friend...nothing but a friend.” He whispered harshly to himself, a loud reminder to what he already knew, in the hopes it would sink the message in deeper and stop his thoughts from continuing down their chosen path. All the while Alexandre was going through the first aid kit checking to see if it had everything he needed such as bandages, alcohol, wraps, and gauze. Satisfied everything was together he closed it again then headed back into his bedroom toward the side of his bed.
“Just a friend.” Alex repeated, “He’s not like that.” He scolded himself as he set the kit down and opened it back out and started grabbing what he felt he’d need. “I promised I wouldn’t date again...not after what I saw.” not after losing someone he loved, even if it hadn’t really happened - it would happen...it could happen. But hadn’t he changed the future already? Wouldn’t he further change it so that such a thing would never happen? He liked to think so but time...that was a tricky thing and he didn’t feel very comfortable tampering with it Alex could only imagine what it would be like if people could time travel and what they’d be facing.
“Focus…” He hissed to himself going for the obvious wound on the others back first. Alcohol and then gauze to clean it and remove the dried blood before setting about covering it up. With clear gauze he pressed it down against the wound on the others lower back before setting about using the bandages to keep the gauze in place and cover it up fully. From there he moved around the others body checking for any other injuries that needed tending to. The wrist was found after some searching and that was wrapped up tightly by the blond.
Another check over the other showed nothing else which needed tending and so Alex, content he’d done his job, settled back at the end of his bed and sitting there he put things away into the first aid kit then grabbed up the garbage before he slipped off his bed and went to throw things out and put the kit away in the bathroom cabinet. Returning to his room he grabbed one of his pillows, setting it on the foot of his bed, and covered Aiden with his comforter and moved around to open his window to let some cool evening air in. Passing by his bed, grabbing his pillow as he went, he flashed a smile to the unconscious male before drifting out of his room and closing his door silently, not wanting to wake the other.
