Vincent unlocked the forest gates, and stepped inside. He waited patiently for Glaurung to arrive, since he wanted to get to the bottom of this. Vincent knew he was supposed to rest, and his head was still killing him. He leaned up against the fence, as a dizzy spell hit him. Not today, you are not going to pass out in the woods. he told himself, before taking in a deep breath. The head master didn't want any student or staff member to get hurt. He had yet to tour the forest for signs of danger, but was glad Glaurung already did, for him. Vincent sighed, and closed his eyes, trying not to let his head ache get worse.

Vincent opened his eyes, and sighed softly. He smiled at them both, and opened the gate for them to get through. Once they were both in, he shut it again, locking it so that no other being would enter. "Very well. Hello again, Irina. I'm sorry to pull you out of class. But don't worry, this is part of your internship." he chuckled, and turned to walk the trail. "Now, Glaurung, would you mind telling me what you saw out here? I'd like to get this under control, so that the students can enjoy the forest." he glanced back at him, with a hint of worry in his eyes. Vincent closed his eyes, and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to dull some of the sharp pain shooting through his head. He hated migraines, and the stress wasn't doing any good. "I can trust neither of you will tell the doll- I mean, Dr.Rosaline, that I'm out here, right?" he sighed, before opening his eyes again.

Irina was a bit surprised that a campfire had caused Vincent and Glaurung this much stress and caused them to shut the forest down for the time being. But she didn't know much about the school at that current point in time to say if their fear was justified, because she wasn't sure if there had been incidents in the past that caused them to be this wary. Irina joined Vincent by the ashes left behind and studied them for a moment,"Is there anyone on campus who would be able to identify the components of the ash? Perhaps to see if there was something other than wood burning here..." She said, trailing off a bit. Did they have a gas chromatograph at this school? It seemed a bit unlikely, and even if they did, there could be magical aspects of the ash that the machine wouldn't pick up. But still, there was a possibility that they could see the presence of some kind of chemical not normally found in wood...

Vincent gasped as he was quickly snatched into the air. He held his breath for a short moment, and then was placed on what seemed to be a disc. "Glaurung, I hate when you do that." he huffed, still out of breath. As much as heights didn't bother him, flying through the air wasn't his favourite thing to do. But, he looked at him, thankful that he saved him from the flame. "So, basically, a repeat of before? I thought we weren't going to have this problem, again." Vincent growled, before turning to Irina. "Glaurung, she can't be out here. I can't risk her getting harmed." he sighed, looking down at the ground. The head master coughed a few more times, and rubbed his eyes. If they couldn't get rid of the Nymphs, this time, it could be a complete disaster

Vincent gazed down at the fire, as it spread. He didn't want to use his astral projection, but it would be the only way to quickly get water summoned to that area. The head master took a deep breath, and suddenly vanished, projecting to the nearest small body of water. He pushed branches aside with the flick of his finger tips, and quickly attempted to guide the water to where the flames were. The head master's hands shook as he tried to concentrate, but he hated water, and wasn't nearly skilled enough to guide all of it there. I guess we'll be having a new stream. he thought to himself, as he used nearly all of his energy to push the water in the other direction. Vincent could see the flames rising, rather quickly, and he growled. "s**t.." he muttered, attempting to move more of the branches out of the way.

His adrenaline rush faded quickly, though, and he leaned up against a tree that he hadn't bent, before falling to the ground, completely unconscious. The flames spread up the path that he had started, getting slightly closer to him.

Irina nodded at Glaurung when he told her to get Vincent, and quickly hopped of the disk he'd summoned for her. She grabbed his arm and slung it across her shoulders so that she was now essentially just dragging him across the forest.

But that wasn't working fast enough and Irina knew it. She was getting tired and the fire was creeping up on them, even with Glaurung helping them. On top of that, Irina's heart was beating about a mile a minute, and if she didn't get her emotions under control she'd soon be turning into a wolf. In fact, it was the falling of a flaming tree right in front of them that finally frightened Irina enough to transform into a wolf.

Where a teenage girl once stood there was now a giant, terrifying black wolf, with the same stormy gray eyes as Irina. Vincent was laying precariously on her back with him arms in her face. She bit gently into the sleeves of his shirt to create a grip for him so the he wouldn't fall off as she started to run through the forest. Now she could dodge any fire and pass any obstacle with a breeze.

Once they had finally gotten to the front gates of the forest, Irina transformed back into a human. A human that still looked very distressed however,"s**t...I need the key," she cursed looking towards Vincent.
