______________________________________ Aura Gates sighed as she got home, so much going on, so much happened. Her thoughts were a whirlwind.
She gathered herself as she put her hair into a braid, and then a bun, and changed into some of her own clothing, rather than that of Axel's mother. She tossed them in to wash and turned the TV on low as she curled up for a nap. A busy busy day, okay so the last few days really.

______________________________________ Aura woke up and stretched. She had a really great nap, and was feeling a lot better for sure. She laid there for a moment until the memory of that morning crept up on her. Axel... she and Axel. She smiled at the ceiling and rolled off to the kitchen to make a snack.
Axel was definitely hard to get, she could only hope he wasn't too hard to keep, or keep loyal. But she couldn't stop smiling to herself. She looked pretty damn happy to be eating a bagel.

[Enter Axel's voice via voicemail.]
The phone rang somewhere in the house, once, twice...five times. Then went to voicemail.
<<"Hey, Aura, it's Axel. Um, my folks came home and wouldn't you know it, my siblings told them about you. So, um, would you like to meet them?">>
The voice was nervous and fumbling. The speak was most likely blushing on the other end.
<<"I mean, it doesn't have to be now, um...>>
