Meroko-chii Sorry for delay was seeing to my family
Miss Elaine Treville had been a teacher at Windhurst Academy for the past five years. only last month it was she had returned to teach after a rather bad break up had caused her to be pushed down a flight of stairs breaking her ankle, of course no one knew that and had assumed she had had some skiing accident. She never seemed to have much luck when it came to relationships and often spent her time alone, it was upon a day like this that she was teaching. It was a small class of about 12 students all of which were 16-19 year old boys and out of those boys was one that Elaine was quite worried about , she would walk up to him " i marked your paper....with grades like this ..you will be in my class again this year"

James Hamilton had been in the school system for Windhurst ever since he was a young child. Of course, Windhurst Academy was a private institution that taught from the first grade until their senior year in high school. He had been missing for a few months this year and had recently came back. When he returned, many of the students had spread rumors that he was put in a behavioral facility those few months he was gone. Others thought he had committed a crime and had to be in jail. James is a brilliant student with good grades and a passion for soccer. However, he had been in fights this year, seen more detention than he can count on his fingers, and his grades have been on a steady decline to failure. He was looking out the window before he heard a gentle voice address him and his poorly written paper. He looked at his paper, but didn't say anything about it for a moment, "....I don't see a problem with it." he looked into her eyes with a serious expression. A major physical difference was that when he returned, his left eye was no longer the same as his right. In fact, it almost looked prosthetic.

Elaine looked to the student knowing him as James. " Look James there is a problem...these are the worst scores i have seen from you since last month...i am worried about you James this is not like you at all.. i would like to see about arranging a private tutorage for you, your soccer captain said you would not be able to play unless your scores improved.. and if you don't play i guess it won't be the same without you..is everything alright something bothering you?" she would ask leaning over his desk as she looked at him to then look to the paper to point out his errors " see here .. this is how you do it..you insert one divide by two , and see you made a good answer.. some of your theories have some really valid points but you just do not seem to be wording yourself quite right...James"

James was a little heartbroken when he heard he couldn't play soccer until his scores improve, but he was also shocked to hear that his teacher was considering to find a tutor for him. His gaze turned away from his teacher when he heard her ask the question: Is everything alright? He didn't know if he was alright, but maybe it was better to not talk to her about it. He looked over at her and nodded, "...Yes. Everything is alright and uh...sure. Whatever it takes to get my grades back up...I suppose." he said in a soft voice. When he watched Elaine lean over his desk, his face turned slightly pink and his eyes quickly looked at his graded paper. However, every once in a while he would glance back over her. "Y-Yes....I'll uh...be sure to keep that in mind." He then heard the bell ring for dismissal. James quickly got his things together, looking at his watch. "Miss Treville...ummm...if there is a tutor arranged, just let me know. I have to go get my sister from school." he said before leaving the classroom. His sister would kill him if he was late... James walked to the other side of the campus grounds, seeing a little girl in a wheelchair waiting. He waved at her and approached her, "Hey, you ready to go home?" She nodded with joy before asking him, "So...did you ask your crush out? You said you would!" James blushed faintly, quickly getting behind her wheelchair and wheeling her away, "N-Not yet...I'm failing my classes right now and I don't think she'll like someone who is barely getting by..." he muttered. He was good at hiding his small crush for his teacher, but he wasn't even sure if she would...After all, he was her student. "Well then, I can go home on my own. I'll call Papa and he'll pick me up. You go talk to your teacher!" Before James could say anything else, she started to wheel herself to the campus gates. He had let go of her chair and sighed to himself in aggravation. Does his sister not see that he used her as an excuse so he could avoid being with his teacher alone discussing tutoring? He ruffled his hair messily with both hands and sighed again.

Elaine watched James face drop with a face of saddness. She saw James blush a few times but placed that down to his embarrassing scores, pulling her hair back off of her face so she did not have a strand of it tickling her nose, she would answer him. " Thats Okay James, if ever you need me you know where my office is " she said without much thought to what she were saying, completely oblivious to the fact James had a crush on her, despite the drawings on his paper. The lesson had now finished and so had her Teaching for the day as she begun to put away Exercise books after the bell rang, picking up a book from James desk she realised it was a book that might of been more personal to him, a day planner that had looked like it had seen better days, on picking it up Elaine saw a small glimpse into his diary; Friday
i saw her again today, and that gentle smile of her's. Sis dared me to say how i felt to her ..i tried to say something, anything..but i was distracted. More accurately ..i was afraid.
Elaine put it down and chuckled. So that was the reason why James was so distracted in classes, he was worried what to say to get a girls attention. Elaine thought about just leaving the book there but instead she took it and exited the classroom , she wandered down the hall towards the direction of the campus gates to notice James in front of her waving off a young girl in a wheelchair, lightly tapping his shoulder she spoke gently " y-you left this in class..i accidentally read some of it " she said embarrassed , a light tint to her cheeks as she attempted to say something else " you have girl problems right ..well maybe i could help with that....if there is something you want to talk about James i am happy to listen, i am worried about you..."

James stood by himself for a minute or two, contemplating over his options. He could go back and talk to Miss Treville, or he could call work and see if he could pick up a shift for someone. He worked as a barista at a cafe close to the school, but lately he just hadn't had the time to go in. His manager is very understanding and that is why he is not scheduled, but he can pick up shifts. He looked up at the sky before feeling a sensation on his shoulder. James quickly jumped, looking behind him and seeing it was Elaine. He blushed heavily, covering the bottom half of his face immediately when he felt his cheeks flare up. "I-I forgot what?" James looked down and saw his journal, his eyes wide with surprise. How did he forget something like that?! James looked at his teacher...he knew she didn't mean to read it but it was fine as long as she didn't know who he wrote about...There was more than just stuff like that. His school days, soccer practice, problems at home. He snapped out of his train of thought, looking at Elaine with a nervous expression with a faint smile, "N-No that's alright, I mean uh...I-I-I really shouldn't be thinking about a relationship that's not going to happen. B-Besides. My grades are more important than that. S-Speaking of which...umm...about that tutoring...." Why was he so nervous? Was it because she read his journal or was it because he was talking to her alone after school?
