 Welcome to Nanotech Labs.
Here we house the most unique and rare species in order to better understand their function. Rare breeds from a variant of races are researched here some even known to civilians as Mythology, in truth some of these myths are not so known due to their near extinction. Doctor Elizabeth Scott is one of these scientists trying to prevent their Races from dying.

A Doctor at Nanotech Labs working as a intern under Elizabeth Scott.
Today is her first day.

Lab pen # 00085 everything had been designed to replicate the natural habitat of The Experiment. This was more that a simple cage it was a whole terrain designed especially for him, the most unique and rare of them, enough that there was enough room for him and about 500 more of his race, with room spare and about as big as a zoo itself.

This was more that a simple cage it was a whole terrain designed especially for him, the most unique and rare of them, enough that there was enough room for him and about 500 more of his race, with room spare and about as big as a zoo itself.
the space itself was like a safari reserve, the terrain jungle like and set within a dome to give it it's artificial tropical heat, the dome although appearing to be made of a hardened glass and tungsten steel was in fact made of materials enhanced to take the full impacts of the lamia's frustrational outbursts, food sources could be found and hunted naturally having in essence his own hunting ground, although these luxuries, it was still a large cage. People could if authorized be lowered in from the top of the dome, the only entrance and the only exit, it was risky due to the Lamia's known venom, but it was also known that the Lamia had also the cure.

Subject 16 slithered out of the den like cave that he had made his home. It was heated, and he had learned from his old caretaker that it was made specifically for nagas like himself nest in. He liked to go hunting in the morning but was curious, he hadnt seen his old caretaker in a while. The older woman was kind but she had done something to take blood that caused him pain and to react biting her hand. He released what he did and tried to give her the cure by biting her arm to get the anti-venom into her system but he was hit with a dart as she was taken away, he hoped she had lived but didnt know that the antivenom he gave her helped but her heart had stopped from other natural means due to her own health problems. 16 was hunting a rabbit that was loose when he heard the sound of the crane that lowered stuff into the dome, he slithered over to some bushes that hid his body as he wanted to see what came this time.

Dr Ara Tanis was nervous. Her first day in replacing Dr Jane who had recently passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 46, Ara was but 18 the youngest on the project and the more successful in her training. Having been lowered by crane into the cage she stepped out cautiously, only being told she would be looking after a large snake, Ara had no idea what she were facing.
" H--Hello?" She said looking around carefully, a Rabbit jumping across the grass scaring her into a panic , she would calm for a moment and step further in , the crane moves upwards behind her making a low hum, Ara turns around only to see that she had been sealed in.
Ara had no clue what was going on but now , now she was scared " Oh god.." she said nervously " the took the crane away.. those bloody asses .. is this some initiation prank!.. ha ha .. this ain't funny any more.. guys g--guys?" there was no intercom response either... Maybe the intercom was down or a fire check? maybe.

Subject 16 watched as Ara had gotten off the platform when she seemed scared. He didn't have a forked tongue but he could still sense her fear she emitted. He was curious, she had the same kind of coat that his last caretaker had but she was different, younger it seemed. He soon decided to come out of hiding and first just moved a bit out of the bush, exposing his body down to his stomach, "Who you?" He asked cautiously as asking who she was, not able to say many words. When he had given her a chance to speak, he had also slithered completely out of the bush, exposing his tail, he was wearing some kind of tribal wrap around his waist that worked like a covering, even if nothing showed without it.

Ara saw something slithering. Her eyes focused on it as she backed back nervously, was this the dangerous snake? and who was talking? Her eyes were a pale violet and her hair a soft reddish pink. " i am Dr Ara. A--Ara Tanis.." she said with a meek voice, the voice she had heard did not seem threatening in fact it sounded as scared as she were, as his full form appeared Ara were shocked this was not a snake, this was a Lamia! Ara had thought these to be extinct due to climate she even reached out towards him nervously. "W-wow i never knew such wonders existed..I am here to continue the work as your Handler...but i think something went wrong.. they took the crane away.."

Subject 16 noticed what she said, he noticed that she more nervous now but he slithered and moved around her, examining her as he thought it over, "Where caretaker?" He asked wondering where his last caretaker went, they never told him and didn't know why but looked up at the crane that had just reached the top, he wasn't sure what to say about the crane.

Ara looked directly at the creature as he slithered around her. As he asked his question Ara was obliged to answer and would respond with the truth, " She was sick and her age was against her,she suffered a heart attack and was forced to rest but she came to see you..she suffered what was to be believed as a snake bite..she got the antivenom and it worked.. but just last week she died..her heart gave out whilst driving here..the car skidded and collided with another..when medics got to her she were already dead." she explained. Ara did not know how much he would understand but she hoped that in telling him he would be satisfied with closure, " i am here to replace her...though i probably am not the same as having her i hope we can be friends..and it looks like i do not have much choice in staying here right now."

(Sorry for the wait ms Oreos) 16 looked at her as she seemed curious but he thought it over what she said about his old caretaker and how she passed away. When she mentioned the venom, "I kill her?" He asked but it could have almost sounded like he was admitting to killing her but he said it more as he was afraid if he was the cause of her death since he didn't know what a car was or anything. He looked at her, "Fri... Friends?" He repeated the word not sure what that was to them.

HealingAssass1n Sorry for the wait i was not quite myself yesterday " No" Ara spoke softly with a soft but noticeable tremble to her voice. " No you did not kill her..she died other way..." Ara took out a small note pad and drew on the paper as an attempt to close the communication barrier " This is a car...Old caretaker died driving car.. it's a kind of machine that allows people to move about without walking.. or slithering she died because of her heart " Ara drew a pretty heart on the page and hoped that the Lamia would better understand her words. " Yes Friends ..it means to show kindness and give care.. to someone without intent to harm them.."

(Sorry about the wait, I could have sworn I replied but I guess it slipped... sorry sweatdrop ) 16 looked at her when she spoke but hearing her talk about a car, he was a bit realived to hear he wasn't the cause of her death but still she was really nice to him. When she spoke about being friends he nodded to her, "No harm." He said thinking that he wasn't meaning to cause harm, the last time was by accident and he wasn't meaning to be hurtful.
