Meg watched as her class danced.
the swift and graceful movements putting into memory her many own triumphs when she were younger, now now thing were less than glamourous for the primadonna. As she looked through the listings , she was two members short of the production, and the tryouts were proving to be tedious, who was next had better be good, her blue hues looked towards the doors the mirrors reflecting their image, if meg did not make the number or enroll enough dancers, meg would have to close down her dance school.
A shadow brought her away from her thoughts, as the doors opened to what appeared as a late male " you are late again.. what did i say about punctuality?" she spoke tapping her pen on the paper with frustration, " well come on ..first position if you please.. i believe you know your steps?"

she would watch analysing his movements and precision.
Though Meg appeared distracted as she watched Drake, his balance was off and she moved the clipboard from her lap to walk towards him , it was like watching herself again, struggling to make an impression and get the recognition for her efforts. There was a sigh as she guided her hands over his body " That is Miss Harding.. keep your balance central as you go into second position and keep your focus on me.. right.." she said licking her fingers for saliva to help tidy his hair up, " that's better now dance for me dance from your heart, feel in in your blood" she said with a smile and went through the first position with him as she looked at him she noted the bruises " what have you been doing this time Drake?"

Drake could hear his heart pounding in his ears as Meg stepped towards him, he swallowed as he felt the tips of her fingers glide against his skin. "Yes. Mrs. Harding and the bruises are from me....practicing." Drake stuttered out before resuming to dance. He wanted her affection, her approval and wanted to show her that he was worthy of her.
Meg appeared stunned. She had no idea that he took his dancing so seriously!
She would falter for words as he stuttered, " No ..no Mrs.. i have never been married.. nor do i think i ever will be" said Meg " that's what women who want to fail at art do..they get pregnant.. they marry.. and then their figure and performance is never the same again...Priscilla..Has been cut from the program..would you like to know why Drake.. because she got pregnant..i cannot find another to replace her and ..if i do not.the dance school will be bankrupt. " Meg looked at him so eager to learn so eager to bruise himself for the sake of perfection, his buttocks his height and balance all on point that she had to swallow her thoughts. Meg had noticed Drakes glances for about as long as he had joined the dance school and for longer than that, when her plans to open the school was in their early stages he was the one that suggested the idea, " lets sort those bruises out.. "
