Currently: After being in Team Rocket for almost a full year, Sync has learned a great deal about the organization, Kodo, and pokemon - much more than he ever wanted to. He's transitioned from not wanting anything to do with the creatures to seeking out select ones for the betterment of his team, and has been working with and training them since he was a trainee. There is little else interesting going on in his life at the moment, unless he finds a trainer his brother has met before and decides to try messing with them.

Previously:
Fresh off the boat from Grande Ile and now a brand new Team Rocket recruit, Sync is starting to learn the ropes of being in the criminal organization. As yet his knowledge of Pokemon is pretty much next to nothing, and he's struggling to understand just why everyone seems to like using them so much.

__Basic Information_________________________
xxxxName: Unknown
xxxxAlias: Sync
xxxxDate of birth: October 27
xxxxAge: 21 years
xxxxRank: Grunt

xxxxHeight: 5'6"
xxxxWeight: 132lbs
xxxxAppearance: Despite his small, lithe frame, he has a muscular build that denotes a great deal of exercise and some degree of flexibility, and his light skin implies he either isn’t outside much or if he is, his skin is protected from the sun in some way. His green hair is short in the back but longer in front and generally sticks up pretty much everywhere, though he has two pieces that hang down and frame his face. He has two large tattoos, both a burnished gold color; from his collarbone a complex glyph-like design spreads out across the front of his shoulders in what seem like wings before curving back inward and tapering to a point along his abdomen, and on his back a simpler one made up of a number of circles connected by straight lines sprawls across the backs of his shoulders and snake down to his lower back. While on duty he'll wear a standard Rocket uniform, but when he's not on the clock he favors simple jeans, short-sleeved shirts, and hoodies if it's cold. His favored colors for clothing are black and green.

xxxxVice: Heartlessness, resentfulness
xxxxVirtue: Detachment, diligence

xxxxPersonality: To most of the world he is a little punk, pitiless and callous in his behavior, shallow and mostly selfish, and doesn’t hesitate to mess with people or trick them. To his peers he still behaves this way but to a lesser extent. Superiors automatically receive at least a shred of respect, given they must have proven their worth or usefulness somehow to have achieved their current status, and if Sync observes evidence of the contrary then he will treat them, or at least think of them, as he treats everyone else where possible, though he's smart enough to be sneaky or quiet about it to avoid getting into trouble. If he observes behavior that affirms someone indeed earned their position, they will in turn earn his respect. He has no patience for people that he thinks are naive or stupid, and has no qualms about letting them know if doing so won't get him into trouble.

xxxxLikes: Being useful/successful
xxxxDislikes: Being useless/unsuccessful, stupid/naive people, people that have respect or status but didn't earn it, pokemon

xxxxCommunication type: Electric

xxxxSkills: Bilingual (French, English), dodging, stealth, parkour
xxxxStrengths: Fast reaction time, diligence, hard-working
xxxxWeaknesses: Low defense, poor social skills (ie, rude), disrespectful to those he deems unworthy of respect

xxxxPokemon: Given his strong dislike of Pokemon, Sync tries not to acquire any more than is absolutely necessary. They are useful tools at best and a waste of space at worst, so he endeavors to ensure his are more useful tools than wastes of space. Nicknaming them is a concept that has never occurred to him to even consider adopting. All of his are kept in standard pokeballs, and to tell them apart he hand carves roman numerals onto their surface, specifically on the red half directly above the release button.

xxxxBirthplace: Petite Eau, Grande Ile
xxxxPrevious residence: Devoirue, Grande Ile
xxxxCurrent residence: Team Rocket HQ, Kodo

xxxxFamily: Mother, father, six brothers; all of them except one brother are currently residing in Grande Ile. His youngest brother is currently staying in Camphoreon.
xxxxHistory: Sync was the fifth born to an overzealous couple that had two more children in the following two years, and he spent the first several years of his life in Petite Eau before the family uprooted and moved to the nation's capital of Devoirue. His parents had already instilled as much of their intense love for their country into their other children as they possibly could and were trying to do the same for their younger children, encouraging them each to join the nation's military to protect their beloved country, while they themselves created a small committee dedicated solely to identifying and researching potential threats to Grande Ile. As Sync grew and became too much of a handful to his busy parents, they set up gymnastics lessons for him to try to help burn off his excess energy. It didn't work, but he did learn a lot that he practiced throughout his life to retain and improve the flexibility he'd developed. Eventually he started training with his brothers, all of them learning and practicing various fighting techniques in preparation for joining the military one day and assisting their parents with their committee, but the older he became and the more he thought about it, the more he realized he had absolutely no desire to join the military or be locked into protecting a country he didn't particularly feel too strongly about. His indifferent attitude clashed severely with his parents' intensely patriotic natures, and Sync grew up the black sheep of the family because of this. Time only exacerbated the differences between them.

xxxxAs the years passed, it became clearer that the tasks assigned to his brothers could be done by any of them, as the only favorite his parents had was their country. Any task could be done by anyone, as long as it was done - if one couldn't do it, he was substituted with someone else. Whenever one of his brothers fell ill and couldn't complete an assignment, it was simply given to one his other brothers instead. Grande Ile's safety and security was of the utmost concern to his parents, which they made perfectly clear - though they also unintentionally made it equally clear that any of their sons could be replaced by another if they didn't or couldn't perform to their expectations. Sync eventually grew to resent this way of life, and then grew to resent not only his parents for subjecting all of them to it, but also his brothers for simply accepting it.

xxxxAlready the black sheep of the family, Sync easily fell into the role of rebellious teenager; sneaking out at night for various lengths of time, arguing with his parents, petty theft, and occasionally climbing nearby houses to the chagrin of his parents and neighbors were frequent habits. It was during this period that he obtained not one but two large tattoos. Despite - or perhaps because of - the resentment between him and his parents, he much preferred to agitate or spite them for entertainment rather than to become bitter and jaded, and he wasn't sure if that made his parents relieved or frustrated. All the bitter feelings and frustration came to a head when Sync was twenty, and half his brothers were out on assignments and his parents' patience was wearing thin. His father expressed exasperation at him for not following in his brothers' footsteps, and Sync made his opinion on the matter perfectly clear. Angered at his indifference and finally sick of it after all these years, his mother deemed him more of a liability than an asset to their country and kicked him out of their home. After being thrown away himself like a discarded tool that had lost its usefulness, he in turn threw away his past and the name his parents had given him, instead choosing to call himself Sync, and headed to Kodo to join the criminal organization his parents were worried would threaten Grande Ile.

Ember Tail Whip Quick Attack Confuse Ray

xxxName: Vulpix, AKA One

xxxPersonality: When Vulpix was first assigned to Sync, she was too afraid of being sent back to storage - or worse, sent back to spend the rest of her life entirely in the labs - so she was eager to do whatever Sync demanded of her. Originally a sweet, affectionate little fire-type, her friendly personality diminished in the face of Sync's cold indifference towards her until it all but vanished completely. Since then she's grown into a more subdued, obedient creature that's eager to do what her trainer asks less out of fear and more out of a desire to please him. She was his first pokemon, and she fully intends to prove that that means she's also his best.

xxxHistory: From a very young age, Vulpix has mostly only known Team Rocket. Whether she was born there or was stolen shortly after hatching, she knows not, as her earliest memories are hazy at best. All she knows is that she's spent almost the whole of her short life between storage and the labs where she's frequently used as a subject for various experiments. The seemingly endless cycle finally stopped when she was assigned to a new recruit - to Sync, who had no pokemon of his own prior to joining Team Rocket.

Thunder Shock Growl Quick Attack Electro Ball

xxxName: Pikachu, AKA Two

xxxPersonality: Pikachu seems content with and mildly curious about his new trainer and his teammates, and though he doesn't feel any kind of strong loyalty yet, he does as instructed if for no other reason than he may as well, since he has nothing better to do and doing as told could prove interesting.

xxxHistory: Even though he was stolen from his original trainer he'd been with since he hatched, Pikachu never really minded his fate. He didn't ever much care for his first trainer, and so was perfectly fine with sitting in storage for a time. That time ended when he was assigned to Sync, who had requested a second pokemon to work with per Elite Rook's orders immediately following his first training mission.

Headbutt Leer Focus Energy Pursuit

xxxName: Cranidos, AKA Three

xxxPersonality: Cranidos loves to headbutt things, though he's quickly learning what is and isn't appropriate to headbutt (his teammates are appropriate; random Rockets are not), as well as what is incredibly difficult to headbutt (Sync will not hold still long enough to headbutt). Beyond that he doesn't really want for much; he likes his trainer and his teammates well enough, likes meeting new people or pokemon and loves training, as training means lots of things to headbutt.

xxxHistory: A cave full of fossils was opened to the public, and Sync eagerly went to see what he could find and bring back to Team Rocket. His seemingly endless search for a fossil finally bore fruit in the shape of a skull fossil he uncovered and carried back to the base. He thought dropping it off would be the end of the matter, and was surprised (and somewhat annoyed) to find a new addition to his team a short time later.

Scratch Leer Pursuit Fake Tears

xxxName: Zorua, AKA Four

xxxPersonality: Everything is scary. Everything is terrifying, and Zorua hides from scary things at any and every opportunity. Anxiety reigns above all else, hindering her concentration and motivation, and it's something both she and Sync have to work with in order for her to improve. So far the only thing she's interested in, however, is hiding somewhere safe forever. Vulpix has to accompany her almost everywhere to give her some level of comfort that allows her to focus more on her training, so Zorua sticks to the elder fox like glue.

xxxHistory: Borne of idle thoughts that turned into serious discussions that in turn eventually resulted in a request to the labs, Zorua came into being when Tambrey fulfilled that request and brought Sync to the labs to pick up his newly created pokemon. Zorua has been with Sync since she first gained consciousness and therefore has had no prior experience in the wild or in civilization.

xxxNote: Sync's request to the labs was for a Zorua with heightened illusion capabilities so that the resulting pokemon would excel in its illusions. While he received such a pokemon, the caveat for achieving such a result was Zorua has abysmal stats and wouldn't be suitable for battle herself except as a support pokemon. It also instilled in her an intense love of dark chocolate, and the substance has a brief calming effect on her if she consumes enough of it.
