[SOLO QUEST] Chapter Three: Flying High [Koray]

STEP 2: HERE AND BACK AGAIN

Now, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )

- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).

- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.

- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.

- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player, and does not consume a turn.

- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.

- Please make sure ALL party members add this to their ooc post:

gaia_crown [ Step 1: The trek forwards ]
- Your party starts the trek forwards, the path out of Camelot is extremely dangerous and full of rugged, mountainous terrain. Be careful, a single misstep will cause you to loose anything and everything! Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.

Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost.
Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! You take -10 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. BEEEEES. Your horse runs away, making it extremely hard on you. Every turn you take, you must subtract 5 food from the caravan, starting next turn.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).

gaia_crown [ Step 2: The Winding Forest ]
- The forest is extremely confusing, and there is a myth that dangerous elves lie in these forest. Dangerous arrow-shooting elves and giant killer spiders. If you don't follow the path, you will get lost forever in the forest labyrinth. Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.

Rolling a 1: A giant spider scares you so much you drop whatever it is you're eating! -5 Food
Rolling a 2: Someone seems to have left food on the road for you! How nice! +10 food.
Rolling a 3: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).

gaia_crown [ Step 3: The Dwarven Mountains ]
- You enter a giant mountain labyrinth. Dead skeletons, rusted armour and the bodies of fallen knights plague each step. You swear you could hear the sound of something horrific echoing in the far distance. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.

Rolling a 1: You accidentally step on a loaded booby trap! Arrows rain down on you, and you take -20 damage!
Rolling a 2: You accidentally step on a booby trap as giant axes start swinging at you! You take - 5 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally step on a booby trap as snakes start chasing you! Why did it have to be snakes... -10 damage
Rolling a 4: You hear a horrific roaring noise and when you look behind you you see a terrifying beast made of fire chasing you! In your horror you lose half the remaining caravan food.
Rolling a 5: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 6: You find a small supply crate from the last group of knights who tried to attempt this! +10 food

gaia_crown [ Step 4: The Mountain Summit ]
- You've done it, you've reached the mountain top! Now just to climb the highest hill and try to get that rare artifact, this better be worth it. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
- This quest is NOT considered complete until EVERYONE has rolled. IF anyone does not roll they fail the quest but if you succeeded with everyone else, you can go ahead and claim the prize!

Rolling a 1: Giant unexplainable eagles start attacking you! Ow! You take -10 damage for yourself.
Rolling a 2: In your excitement to get the artifact, you drop one of the bags of food! You lose ALL OF YOUR FOOD. QUEST FAIL FOR WHOLE PARTY.
Rolling a 3: You accidentally shout a little too loud in excitement and unleash an avalanche! -10 damage for WHOLE PARTY. If anyone in your party hits 0 they FAIL THE QUEST
Rolling a 4: Just as you're about to touch the artifact, you catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
Rolling a 5: Somehow, you made it safely. Somehow.
Rolling a 6: An old man claiming to be a wizard hands you some food. Thanks, you guess? +10 food.

-GOING FOR THE WINGS-

Koray had been flipping through a book in the remains of the library. Stories of the artifacts he and many others gathered and wore. He had seen a few with a odd cape. Now he was researching the thing and coming up with shadowy phrases and vague details. His interest was captured by the artifact. Mind made up he shut the tome he had unearthed, placed it back in the spot he found it.

Walking out to the stables one could see the youth was lost in thought. Yildirim strapped to his back seemed to thrum. Koray reached around his side to pat the pole of the voluge. A feeling of being settled rested on his shoulders as he neared his steed. A smile as he saddled up the stallion grew on his face. "Well...time to go at it. This is the last time, Mortimer. Lets make it memorable eh?"

Mortimer just knew that the knight was not paying attention to their surroundings. Koray was looking around for any clues to the infamous last artifact. Koray thought he saw something on the path ahead of them. Mortimer did too....

Trouble.

As Koray slipped out of the saddle. Mortimer saw Trouble with a captial T...the stallion chomped down on Koray's sleeve pulling him back towards the steed. Koray waved him off with a chuckle. "Relax, Mortimer...what is the worse that can happen?"

As Koray walked over to what he thought was a sign on the edge of the road. The youth got close then felt his foot slide out from under him. With a yelp Koray dove back onto the path...Mortimer galloped over to further pull the young knight back to safety.

In doing so the stallion let one of the bags drop a few apples spilled out of it. Both steed and knight whimpered as Koray barely caught the bag in time. The apples. The poor poor apples. Koray stood with a arm around the steed's neck. Koray looked at Mortimer...

"Okay. So...the worse that can happen is it was a cliff. Well...now we know. Shall we move on?" Koray asked. Mortimer nipped at the knights hip before turning. Dragging Koray with him a bit before the youth managed to scramble back into the saddle.

As the two ventured on. Mortimer was starting to question his knights sanity. It seemed like Koray was looking everywhere but directly in front of him. The stallion didn't really know where they were going, but felt small twitches to his regins in directions so he followed them. Koray seemingly pleased with the silent following of his random actions. Mortimer was seriously worried. Then slowed to a stop seeing a parcel of food. Koray finally looked ahead, Mortimer knew this by the sound of a hum.

"Well. Looks like we have a spot of good luck..." The knight said as he dismounted to pick up the bag and place it among the others. Chuckling the knight remounted as he started....

Singing.

Oh Mortimer's ears flatten as the stallion felt irked instantly.

Koray's singing was off key, loud....and off key. Mortimer didn't think his Knight was this moronic...but he had been wrong before about the male. As Koray went on the stallion was getting more and more irked until...

He bucked.

Koray flew right into the underbrush and rolled. Springing up he glared. "HEY YOU COULD OF WARNED ME!!!"

As the youth grumbled he picked up the bags. Singing again as he carried on.

Singing as he climbed the young knight blinked as he heard a rumble. Shrugging he belted a note and then heard the freaking AVALANCHE!!!!!!! Turning the young knight took off like a rocket towards higher ground. As he did so the male fell a few times then finally threw himself onto the safe ground. Crawling on his side the knight turned back to blink at the snow...sighing he looked up and blinked.

Oh...the box was right there. He opened it...WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS?!?
