Three years after the enemy attack on the Den during the downed shielding unit things seemed rather peaceful, the threat level was low, few minor attacks on the Den had the military forces in a state of peace. It had seemed the enemy military had all but given up. But suddenly they resurfaced, with what was thought of as their form of a hydrogen bomb. The enemy used a powerful weapon called the PlanetKrak, but do to some dumb luck and poor positioning the Den took the minor blast of the bomb with ease to the new shield, but the payload blew the planet open, sudden fissures and earthquakes from the massive bomb opened a hole deep inside the planet. Inside the cracks scouts were sent in and found strange artifacts, and even stranger feral beasts. These strange artifacts were for the most part broken due to the massive explosion, but the ones working were used by the feral but intelligent creatures. They had a similarity to the Den's plasma weapons, but a single hit vaporized what it touched in an instant causing terror among the living. The scouts and assassins teamed up and ventured far into the civilization and found a shrine holding an unbroken artifact that looked like a clockwork piece.
After retrieving the piece the scientists from the Den tried rigging it up as a power source for the Den's new shield, but what happened was unthought of. After final preparations were made they tested what the artifact did, and what it did shocked everyone, even the enemy. The device started making a loud whining noise, as if it were going to explode. Suddenly the Den was thrown into a strange dimension, a worm hole sucked in the massive structure and sent it through. As it appeared in the strange new world it ended up crashing into the side of a mountain, half buried it destroyed the science district and sent it into the mountain. There was a problem before the Den smashed into the mountain side, everything was engulfed in fire when the reactor blew, the people of the den were gone except clones. Then the artifact had used what was left of its power and sputtered, sending another shockwave that swiped across the area, and nothing existed in the den except the existing clones. Those that survived managed to savor what was left of the Den as it was soon ransacked by the venikarlii.
On the other end of the spectrum there was a fully built den, one where everything was new, as if the Union never attacked. People lived their life as usual, and worked happily along with the alien residents. The den set out a few drones, many of which had reported more villages and enemy troops, but one drone found something incredible. Something that would shock every single resident of the Den to their core. The drone KRX9 spotted a large mountain 50 kilometers from where the Den existed, and spotted a structure buried in the mountain side. A structure all too familiar to the builders. There was a second den, one that looked like it was in the midst of rebuilding and stuck, and drones found out that there was no sign of life in that den, but nobody could explain how that den existed. The only explanation was a destroyed artifact they found rigged up to the shielding that must have moved them into a different universe, one where Valor existed so the machine found a similar structure to plant the new users and placed them there. As the excitement built up ideas were made, such as how the machine could do so, could there be another one, and the most popular one, what happened to the former residents? After the recent discovery the scientists took the artifact off and started running a scan of its energy in hopes to find another, but there was always the possibility that the Valor they were placed in didn't have the race that built the strange yet powerful tool so a repair may be required to find out its purpose. It seems they were sent back in time, so many of the dens new avocations aren't apart of the new den.
There were many life forms to the den, some the residents coexisted with and some not. The Akuma and Valorians had been with them before the Union attacked, but there were different creatures on Valor, they named the ruthless killers Capra for the primitive- and unruly- enemy forces because of their unmistakeable mixture of a goat and cow skull shaped heads on human bodies, and the Venikarlii who had powers and animal like characteristics after they consumed the clones and mutated. During the time everyone was either busy or protecting the Den and villages from invaders. Many sections of the Den were turned into housing units, the mall section of the Den looked like homeless shelter galore before things happened.
As things didn't seem strange enough, things started happening to the dens residents. Some were waking up with different personalities, different memories, and different ages. Nobody could explain this phenomenon, as it seemed to happen to many of the dens residents. What was happening was the second den caused a paradox, and the dens residents that disappeared from there were the dens residents that were changing, gaining these weird traits. As the phenomenon couldn't be traced by the dens science district, the reports of those affected were being tested for anything out of the ordinary, but nothing showed up. From the time the artifact used its last amount of energy, side effects were happening in a slow pace. The sputter had a wide range of effect, and ended up hitting the new den, thus causing such things to happen to the residents. The bigger picture was the valorians to the apparitional members of the den with weird traits, they were alive. The Akuma played a part as well, informing the Apparitions of the Valorians, the Venikarlii, and Capra as they had yet to know due to their memories being changed.
