Micheal was not going to stay for the executions. Nope not going to happen. following the crowd, how did they manage to fit that many warriors down here, Micheal tripped over one of the other knights on the way out.
"Opps, oh high there cutie." Was that a boy or a girl, some small instinct said female. though she clearly tried to dress tough. Then again around here, what were the clothing options. Not a hell of a lot.

My character's name: Micheal Character's journal link:linklink BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Tall and well build it is clear that Micheal once worked hard for a living. His hands contain calluses from handling a plow. His face is tanned along with ever bit of exposed skin, a testament to how long he was out in it. On his right arm is a series of scars as well as a tattoo of a tiger. Under the jacket on his shoulder is another tattoo of a star.
Micheal has a nice red cloak that was torn at some point. He still wears it. he also has a tool belt full of little items designed to be helpful in a bad situation. Over his shoulder he has a heavy ax slung which he carries with ease. He has a smile full of adventure, and a touch of mischief.

Blinking up at the man who addressed her, Marosa raised an eyebrow skeptically, pulling her cloak embroidered with forget-me-nots on her neck so it didn't chafe as much.
"... cutie?" She looked him up and down. "... you realize I'm a boy, right?" It was a complete lie, but she had to keep up appearances so that others wouldn't take advantage of her small and lithe frame, thinking she wasn't a good opponent.

Micheal did a double check. Well clothing was male. Really it was. But something just smelled female. Either way... he couldn't look at that face and not think it. "Well you are still a cutie." Micheal gave him a wink. "Are you going to fight me over it?" Micheal might have liked that. He always did like people with spunk. It was less boring.

"If you keep it up I might," She huffed, tugging at her cloak again and glowering at him. "You into whatever suits your fancy?" Her keen eyes stared at his, and she wasn't quite sure what to make of him.
Marosa tried to dress as masculine as she could. She really did. But damn her lithe form being so small in these baggy clothes, she now wasn't sure she pulled it off well at all. She thought she'd managed quite well until now.

A challenge. Good Micheal liked that. Despite the fact, or maybe because of the fact that their lives where on the line not too long ago, Micheal needed something to distract himself.
Still a challenge was not interest. But he hadn't been declined either. Micheal stared at the smaller knight trying to access where the level was.
"I like fighting." Micheal decided with the most direct route. Best to be clear about certain things. He leaned down closer to the knight, "Especially with my fists. No relationship can last without a punch now an then. Now my turn for a question, do you like fighting."

"Get any closer and you'll find out firsthand if I like fighting," Marosa muttered, all out glaring now. Her knuckles cracked as her fists clenched together, shoulders rolling back as her chest puffed out.
She wasn't big on fighting in general, but she was big on fighting when it counted, and when one really had to. Training to be a knight was her biggest dream, and now that everything had happened the way it had... well, it just seemed like all of her dreams were shot up to this point.
Fighting... it didn't seem so bad now, after everything else. It might take the edge off things for her, depending on what this one would do.

Micheal liked that challenge. It didn't even matter if this one was interested any more. Those words made his blood soar. "I'm Micheal." he did indeed get closer, just enough to rub her head. Oh yes, this one would hate that. He fully expected retaliation. Reveled in it. How far would this one go?
"What's your name kid?" He chose the word carefully. Hoping to get a rise out of the small one.

"Great, Michael." Ducking under his hand, she punched him right where she thought it would injure him the most - in his groin. If he had protection there, it would at least smart a little, but her intent was to incapacitate him for a little bit, not to really injure.
No one teased her and called her 'kid' and made fun of her... and got away with it. Everything he was doing - everything - was pissing her off, and she intended to let him know.
With her fists.

That was a low blow, literally. Micheal tried to block but he had forgotten about it and the block came too late. There was no doubt about it now, this was definitely a girl. Only a girl would fight that kind of dirty. Sure he was in armor, sure he was wearing protection, but nothing scared a man more than a groin shot. Nothing.
This wasn't fun fighting, this was clearly a back the hell off shot.
"Are you sure you aren't a girl? Damn kid that was a cheap shot." he moved away letting the knight go if he or really she, so desired.

s**t. He was right. She'd blown her cover by kicking him where it hurt the most.
It was true that only a girl would think of such a low maneuver like that.
Standing in the same spot, she crossed her arms. "Oi'm Marosa." It was the least she could give him, a kind of half apology. And her accent was kind of coming back too, now that she wasn't so mad anymore.
"It's degrading, bein' called kid, okay?"

She, now he knew for sure she was a she, didn't move. Didn't leave.
Ok now he was officially confused. Did she want to play or not? She was still here. "Marosa is it then..." his hands drifted subconsciously to the space between them, one hovering lower than he would normally put it. Still she was a spitfire, and he liked that.
"Whelp, glad to meet you before we all die." a small grin snuck onto his face.

"Yeah. Great." Still glaring at him.
She glanced around and sat down, leaning against a wall with her arms crossed. "What are ye goin' tae do, then? Jest sit back and watch it happen, or nae?" Marosa herself was going to traverse down one of the corridors and punch someone in the face.
It only felt right.

"Hell no." Micheal laughed again. "First I have to find my weapon and then I'm going to go find someone to punch in the face." he unknowingly echoed her thoughts. "There is no reason to murder so many of us when our numbers are down. Then again... our chances at this point are just... pretty much gone. Might as well go down fighting, right?"
Yeah they might all die, but he's be damned if he didn't at least try to survive this.

"Aye." She glanced down one of the corridors, feeling drawn towards one of them. Wanting to be stronger. Wanting to understand everything and getting to the bottom of it.
"Oi dinnae think we should just lie down an' take it. Oi think we should fight back." Marosa nodded and let out a sigh. "Though... oi think oi'm goin' tae rest here fer another few minutes."

Micheal nodded understanding the sentiments. He plopped down next to her and then pulled a bottle out of his back pocket and offered it to her. "Whisky?" don't ask how he got it pass the guards.
"A little something to strengthen the spirits before we go down?"
