 The skies darken as a creature descends, made out of pure shadows. Slowly, it unfurls its wings, and you can't help but take a step back as it screeches, standing in all its majesty.
Height: 30 feet
gaia_crown Boss loot: (On DEFEAT of boss only)
Roll 1d4 and match your loot to the results below:
1. You carve off its horn in victory. Now, you can make a helmet with just one horn. Congratulations.. (IC PRIZE)
2: BLACK TICKET. Please log these in your journal. You can exchange them for prizes here.
3. Nulberry. This is needed to cure yourself of frenzy! Copy and paste this image to your journal for each nulberry gained. Don't forget to link this thread!
4.SACRED POINT. You get an extra sacred point. Log it in your journal. Remember you can only collect 5 a day!
gaia_crown Critical Areas Do 10 knight damage of that colour to each part to successfully break a monster's parts and roll for extra loot!

gaia_crown Frenzy Yes. Start a counter in your battle log form. For each turn you take, add one. When you hit ten you will AUTOMATICALLY DIE UNLESS YOU HAVE A NULBERRY in your inventory you won from a previous battle. To use the nulberry, simply quote it on the turn you want to use it. This will permanently clear you of frenzy status. You can use it on the first turn or ninth turn, it doesn't matter, but it takes up a turn (you take auto damage while using it). Everyone in your party has to take their own (ie: you can't use it on others/share it/give it away).

There was little time to contemplate having a rest. For some great big giant shadow dragon thing practically fell from the sky. It looked strong, it looked dangerous. Sherry let out a little squeak. It had started as yell of surprise, but she'd stifled it. She needed to keep going. Keep moving forward. And that meant going through this thing. So, she pulled out her sword and attacked. She felt very foolish attacking such a large creature. Very, very foolish. But, if she didn't fight it, who would? This woman was clearly trying to get herself killed. And he shouldn't concern him. Yet, somehow it did, and he somehow felt it was his responsibility to make sure she didn't. Maybe he just felt guilty for that time she kinda saved his life. Yah, pretty sure that was it. Nothing else. Nope.

Sherry noticed Jake was back, and she sighed a great big sigh of relief. Because this thing was really, really big. And it kept trying to hit her. (It was succeeding.) "Think we can handle it?" Jake grit his teeth, staring at the creature. That thing was easily two, maybe three times the size of the things they'd fought previously. It seemed... unnaturally big. But if they couldn't take something like this down, there was no hope for what came ahead.

Sherry followed up her successful hit with another. Surely if they kept this up, little by little, the beast would fall. ..hopefully not on top of them. She sliced at the beast again, not willing to give up. She could feel it's attacks beginning to take a toll on her, though. But they couldn't give up. Bren couldn't quite believe what he was seeing. The other shadow creatures had been kind of small, all things considered, but this one was... well... it was too big.
He gaped at it for a minute or so while two other comparatively minuscule humans beat at it, then he decided to help, for better or worse.
Or maybe he would just keep standing there.
