No sooner had she turned around she found another shadow beast. This one...well she had no idea what this one looked like. It was scary though. So she stabbed it. Hard. It retaliated, pinching her and making her scream. Perhaps more in surprise than pain. She really didn't' like this ugly little monster. Jake had spotted the creature and was making a beeline for it, but got startled when there was a scream. He totally missed that crab. In retaliation for it pinching her, Sherry stabbed it again. She didn't even notice Jake, her attention solely on the beast that needed to die. The only response Sherry would receive was a huff. It wasn't like he WANTED to help. The thing just... happened to be along the same path.

Sherry looked at Jake, then looked away. Really, she knew better than to expect more out of him, after how quiet he'd been on the quest.
So she kicked at the dead thing and told herself not to take it personally.
