Greater Mantle of the Wisteria STEP 2: HERE AND BACK AGAINNow, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )
- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).
- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.
- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.
- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player.
- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.
- Please make sure ALL party members add this to their ooc post:
Food remaining: Your food remaining/ Your total food value from all party members added. YOUR HP: Your knight's current HP
gaia_crown [ Step 1: The trek forwards ] - Your party starts the trek forwards, the path out of Camelot is extremely dangerous and full of rugged, mountainous terrain. Be careful, a single misstep will cause you to loose anything and everything! Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost. Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! You take -10 damage! Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. gaia_crown [ Step 2: The Winding Forest ] - The forest is extremely confusing, and there is a myth that dangerous elves lie in these forest. Dangerous arrow-shooting elves and giant killer spiders. If you don't follow the path, you will get lost forever in the forest labyrinth. Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You swear you could hear the sound of something horrific echoing in the far distance. Each player must now roll 1d5 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.

Ruth couldn't believe she was going to go on another expedition! As if the first two hadn't been grueling enough (alright the first one was less grueling and more annoying but the second one certainly made her want to yank her hair out) but here she was about to embark on a third one.
It must be the rations, she decided. Something in them was compelling her to seek out things, granted they may be beneficial to her later but it was the principle of the thing. She had grabbed a good amount of rations for this trip, intending to share them with the chestnut mare that had the sense to refrain from running away. Unlike all those other geldings. The last thing she expected was to run into someone as she went to leave.
Her hands immediately shot up in a defensive pose.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: Your food remaining/ Your total food value from all party members added. 44 YOUR HP: 30/30

Koray had been itching for another quest since his last one went so well. He really was looking forward to it. As he walked down the path he mused over the horse. Mortimer. While the coward had run away the young knight really couldn't stay mad at him. After all. He did have that nifty shortcut to take him back home. With a nod he walked into the stables. Made sure Mortimer was there then walked out to fetch his rations. He was on the other side of the hall as he walked out and into the smaller female. "Ouch! Oh...sorry. You okay?" he asked as he steadied his bags of rations. Quest Status Food remaining: 44 + 36 = 80 YOUR HP: 30/30

Ruth faltered back, purposely placing some distance between themselves before she gave a slow, tentative nod. She glanced at his bag of rations then glanced at hers. She then gestured over towards the stables then to themselves. Whether she was asking a question, pointing out the obvious, or stating a fact it was entirely up to the other apprentice to decide. The small, nervous smile on her face was about as helpful as a helmet made of parchment.Quest Status Food remaining: 80 YOUR HP: 30/30 SwordOfTheDarkOnes I am so sorry for Ruth's behavior ;3;

Koray blinked. Stared then blinked some more. What...in the world was she asking? Did she want a piece of his tail in the stables? No...that couldn't be it. He'd get a way more obvious sign than that. Did she want his rations? Can't be...WAIT A MINUTE! She was also going on a quest. She had rations. Like him. Was going to the stables. Like him. She must of been mute! He smiled. Well, thankfully he wasn't. "Did you wanna join me on this Quest? I'd be honored Lady Knight." he gave her a semi-bow. Quest Status Food remaining: 80 YOUR HP: 30/30

The blonde blinked from behind the fringes of her bangs, someone actually wanted to accompany her? Oh, they thought it was the other way around? Ruth's small, nervous smile widened as she tried to mentally rationalize why she should refuse.
In the end, the woman gave the other apprentice a bow, then wordlessly saddled her chestnut mare. She hadn't yet named her and didn't think she had to as they set off. Unfortunately, she came across a very angry, practically rabid gray gelding that had turned feral and charged at her and her horse.Quest Status Food remaining: 80 YOUR HP: 20/30

Koray jumped as he saw the feral gledling. Holy crap!! That was...odd...really odd to him for some reason. They were barely out of the castle paths and half way to the forest...apparantly the thing wasn't done. As it turned to come after Koray and Mortimer next. "Mortimer! Cut it out with the animal attraction! First bees now this!!!!" he complained. Mortimer glared back as if to challenge the young knight to say that again. Koray blinked remembering the last time. Then cleared his throat. "Fair enough."Just who was the master here? Quest Status Food remaining: 80 YOUR HP: 20/30

The blonde's horse was frantic in its reaction to the gelding's presence. The attack made the already spooked creature terrified beyond all reason and it just bounded headlong into the brush. Ruth tried her best to keep a firm grip on the reigns but a low-hanging branch swept her up and off and she fell back with a loud, dull thud.
"Animals," she wheezed in a voice so deep so as to sound like a great mountain of a man Cannot be trusted to remain loyal." It looked like she was going to have to go on foot.
Warily, she stood up, and called out "I say, kind fellow-knight? Where are you currently located?"Quest Status Food remaining: 80 YOUR HP: 20/30

Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa. What...in the name of Merlin's beard (he didn't know if the guy had one. This just seemed right for some reason.) was THAT?!? He guided Mortimer to the brush where he saw Ruth's horse take off for...as he came upon her he blinked. "So...that's why your so silent. Interesting. Not too big a deal. Just a tad odd."As he spoke the young male was eating an apple. Completely impassive Mortimer watched the spider crawl up a nearby tree. Koray didn't notice it till the eight legged being decided it wanted a slice of apple. Koray looked to his side seeing something out the corner of his eye. Then doing a double take...screamed. Like a 12 year old girl. Mortimer's eyes went wide as he felt his rider fall half out of the saddle throwing his apple to the winds. A few pieces of bread fell with it. The horse slowly turned his head to look sidelong at his rider as the spider scrambled right back up the thread. Maybe he shouldn't of commented on Ruth... Ruth folded her arms across her chest, one brow arching despite the gesture not being visible. "My reasons for my silence has nothing to do with my voice," she intoned, her expression remaining impassive as she watched the spider skitter up to the man.
The corner of her lips quirked upward into a smirk at the shriek, deciding not to comment on it. Directly at least. The ruckus caused her to spot something in the foliage and she strode into it, "How fortunate. You needn't fret for the loss of our rations or your dignity, choose your pick."Quest Status Food remaining: 70 YOUR HP: 20/30

Koray snorted as he arrogantly rolled his eyes. Mortimer knew exactly where his mind was and promptly bucked the youth off into a nearby mud puddle. The stallion then galloped off leaving the knight to spring up yelling obsenitites at him. After a few moments Koray turned to Ruth. The blonde leveled a steely glare at her companion. Or rather he would have seen she leveled a steely glare at him except, you know, she always had her eyes obscured. Maybe it was best he didn't get to see the way she glared at him and his joking suggestion because it would make the smile on her face obviously without humor.
"Yes, please. I'm certain a strapping man such as yourself could manage this load easily." She answered and handed him the remainder of the rations she carried. She did take out a handful of food to eat as they continued because Ruth knew the path to the mountain was far from easy and they would need their strength.
In the end, she managed to arrive.Quest Status Food remaining: 65 YOUR HP: 20/30

Ruth gave the man a look of complete and utter disappointment and disapproval. She was so close to success and she had it snatched out of her hands. Well, he was going to have to make it up to her, one way or another!
And she decided that that meant he was going to serve as her pack-mule. She thrust the rations at him before climbing up onto her mount, "Try not to lose these this time around."Quest Status Food remaining: 23 YOUR HP: 30/30
