And now he was on his third mission, which is to retrieve the Greater Tabard of the Dragon.
And once completely finished with this mission, he would be at the halfway point to obtaining a full set of magnificent armor that most importantly would serve as a mark his of caliber of being a truly skilled warrior of a level that is characteristic of a knight, a so nearly true knight that has trained extensively and had only to prove himself in a manner he was as of yet unsure of how before he would truly be deemed a knight no longer in training, no longer of apprentice status. But enough of his stillness and mental evaluations of the present circumstances for now, Danirate Levinski awoke with impatience to get started deeming little need as well to get by on more than the minimal amount of rest.
And so, he readied his supplies and set out taking his steed for as long as possible given past history of recent experiences already.

At the onset of the first take of this third mission journey of his, he already encountered troubles. It was a quest though and that meant to him that regardless of trials faced he would triumph and achieve his goal and that was to retrieve the third armor piece of the set of six pieces of armor that he was to set out and gather so as to prove himself. Yes, he would succeed!
Thus, when the hippo attacked, Danirate Levinski did not let the hostility stop him from proceeding onwards through the steps that questing entails.
Surely it was just imaginations, wild ones induced by part of the weirdness that encompassed these quests that he was falling ill. But, alas, he ended up moving to his second take of this third mission as he was back to stocking up again. At least his first take's journey forward and back he had not been horseless, perhaps his steed was improving in the bravery area.
Well, anyways, he had focused on the steps ahead for his second take of mission three again as he steered his horse to the first one to face while wondering what was to be encountered ahead this time.

They were met with a fall. But said fall was a matter of no consequence really and they proceeded on to the next leg of their journey with no problem at all in Danirate's eyes. Yet in the case of this knight in training, it could very well be in his mind that all the challenges in the past no matter how fresh they may be were already nonexistent in his recollections as was more and more clearly a characteristic of his proud mindset.
Even when he questioned the state he was feeling, he placed no blame on himself but still rather on his surroundings entirely that had to do with the quest at hand yet again. In his logic, the fact that he had not at all rested up very much or rather more precisely had not really slept if he did get any sleep in being overzealous to rise in strength through his endeavors was playing no part and even did not enter reality or his contemplation of possibly having anything to do with any problems that arise.
Then when he encountered food along the way, evidence of his vain character shone clearly as well as he smiled smugly at the sight and stored his find with an aura conceit as though it was always rightfully his. Actually, it was rightfully his no doubt about it according to the knight in training and there should have been more left for him and provided more fittingly to boot.
