Event starts April 20th, 2015 and ends when all the dogs have been defeated.
The Eight Canine Warriors are dedicated defenders of their home...but sometimes they get distracted or bored or hungry and wander off. Help track them down and bring them home so they can get back to doing their job.
Instructions:
1. This game is a scavenger hunt. It will be held in the Zen Gardens of Gaia Towns 2. The aim of the game is to be the first to find the Canine Warriors that are running loose! To participate, first we must ask you to Add the mule, ExtraCentsory, as a friend. Do this as soon as possible so that we can all play on the same channel of Towns 2! The mule won't be adding anyone during the scavenger hunts themselves.
2. Everyone on ExtraCentsory's friendlist will be quoted at least 30 minutes before a hunt begins, so that everyone has time to gather on a non-glitchy instance. Nobody is to enter the Zen Gardens before the announcement is made, so that you don't see the Staff member dsiguised as a canine warrior before they are hidden.
3. To go to the starting location, you must:
- Already have ExtraCentsory added as a friend
Start Gaia Towns 2
Click on the Smartphone on the bottom toolbar
Select Friends, then ExtraCentsory, then Transport (the second option).
This will bring you to the same starting location and channel as everyone else!
Be careful not to click on any blue arrows, you will have to restart Towns 2 if you try to navigate to a different area of Zen Gardens. You might also encounter other glitches (though it is rare); in these cases, don't panic, just restart Towns 2, come back to ExtraCentsory, and it should be gone!
4. Search around the Zen Gardens until you find the staff member, then be the first to stand exactly where they are AND announce "BARK BARK BARK" or "I FOUND YOU!" or anything else you want while standing on the suspected hiding spot! However, you must stay in the same spot for at least 30 seconds every time you bark or announce a find, so that staff has the time to respond.
5. If multiple people find the staff member at once or there is any other uncertainty, have a Rock-Paper-Scissors fight among yourself to see who wins. biggrin
6. If nobody finds the staff member by the time they wanna leave, they will leave Towns and post in here that the Canine Warrior has wandered off but will reappear at [time], [date].
8. Do note that Towns 2 does tend to bog down at times, so it may be necessary to restart Towns if it fails to load when you move to a new area.
