The rumors of Alkidike Extremists forcing Earthlings and hybrids alike from Jauhar had more or less hit Yaholo's ears in one way or another. Tahigwa screaming, Nesrine dissolving into a mess, people all around him fleeing for their lives... All in all, he didn't feel that he needed to be concerned. He had his hammer, he could take on a whole slew of Sisters. It really wasn't something all that frightening to him. Even so, if they wanted him to leave, the man who saved Aisha's life from the Dretch, it would only prove how selfish they are.
He bent down to pick up a handful of sticks from under the trees which he planned on using in the fire for dinner later that night and exhaled a breath as he stood. It was oddly quiet today, as if the animals had heard the rumors and fled the area, fearing for their lives. He wondered, idly, if that would make hunting more difficult in the morning and turned back toward the house. Eh, he'd find out tomorrow.

Rilind was in a rather displeased mood, his normal sour look on his face, as he headed toward where he knew Yaholo to be. The green eyed man was just... displeased, more so then he normally was. Since the visit to Aisha, a visit that had ended with the two of them being gifted with a trio of wonderful sons. It was a gift that seemed to prelude something dangerous though. Those women, at least ones being called 'extremists' were on a war path and their targets seemed to be people Yaholo as well as the boys. Rilind would be damned if he let a bunch of crazy, addled women hurt his babies. He glanced in the direction the three were playing in, then started forward toward Yaholo who was... collecting sticks? Sticks?!
He came to a halt in front of him, starring at him for a long moment, then said, "Yaholo, I would have your help. We need to get packing." He told him this in a tone that he hoped left no room for argument. He hoped that if he used his best 'stern' tone with the bigger man that he would come along with Rilind. Turning for a moment he glanced toward his babies again, then around the area, his eyes taking in every last detail as though searching for any threats that might be laying in wait. Once he was sure that nothing was out there, as of yet, he looked back to Yaholo again, "You can leave the sticks behind, we won't be needing them." He added, seeing no reason why sticks would be needed when they were heading... well, somewhere that wasn't Jauhar.
After thinking about it for a moment he decided that Tale might work best, as well as might be the only choice. Rilind refused to go to Zena where his b*****d of a father lived or to Oba where the Fire Tribe lived. He didn't trust either place as being 'safe' for various reasons, so Tale would likely be their only choice, huh?

Inali didn't understand why his dada was in a bad mood. It was a pretty typical thing, as he had observed, for the smaller of his dadas to be fussy, but today felt a little different. Something big was going to happen, he just knew it.
"Ayyyyyeeee, Lixes, Drexl?" He called, from his position, face down, on the edge of the couch. "I can't see what dada is yell'in about! What's the big fuss'about?"

Drexl was sitting curled in the opposite side of the couch. Hearing his elder brother's request along with his Dada's yell the small pale toned triplet slid down from the couch to climb on the bench under the window. Tilting his head as he watched his two Fathers the boy looked back as he spoke. "Daddy's playing with sticks again...Dada looks upset..." It made sense, they weren't allowed to play with sticks. So...why would Daddy be allowed. He looked back out the window and waved to his Fathers with a big smile...

Lixes climbed up onto the couch, then up onto the back of it so that he could better look out the window, watching their parents for a long moment. After a time of studying them he gave a thoughtful sound, "I don't know if it's the sticks only." He finally said, they had been told on... several occasions not to play with sticks, that they might put an eye out, but still their Daddy never looked that grumpy... did he? Lifting a hand he rested it against the window frame, leaning closer.
He wondered what was going on. Was he upset about something? He was the sort that always seemed to be watching the area around them, always on guard, and told them many times over to 'stay in his sight'. Maybe something scary was out there? A monster or something? e wasn't sure but he wouldn't say it out loud, not wanting to worry his brothers, Drexl especially. Glancing over at the other two boys he hopped down to the couch, then from there to the floor all in a swift couple of movements. Once there he brushed himself off, straightened the clothing he wore, and said, "Come on, let's go see if we can hear what they are saying." He told his brothers, hoping he could get the pair moving.

Yaholo's back arched as Rilind came towards him. Uh, oh, he looked really unhappy. What did he do? What happened? The Brute tilted his head and stared, wide eyed, as Rilind began to talk about moving. Whoa, whoa, nooo, he wasn't going to do a damn thing! There wasn't anything to get so riled up about! He placed the sticks on the ground and reached out to gently take Rilind by the shoulders.
"Ril, sweetheart, we don't need to pack to go anywhere." He said, shaking his head. "You're getting riled up by these rumors just like Tahigwa is. Nothing has happened and if anything does, I'm here."
He moved to pick the sticks up again, only to pause and turn to the kids.
"Have... They just been sleeping all day? ... I don't think I've seen Inali move in two hours." He muttered, an eyebrow arching. "I swear that child does nothing but sleep. It's disconcerting."

Ril's eyes got wide as he was told that they didn't need to pack, that he was just getting riled up by rumors. He gave a shake of his head, "I don't care if they are just rumors, Yaholo." He said, looking around the area a moment, then turned back to the bigger man again, "I understand that you are here, that you're big, and that you have a hammer but our sons don't have any of that. They are tiny and helpless. I won't have them grow up in a place that they are being threatened." He told him, looking up at him, his eyes reflecting a lot of worry in them. He didn't want to stay here, not when those giant women were threatening those around them.
Sighing a bit as Yaholo set to picking up the sticks again he said, "I can pack on my own if you don't want to help." He hated to have to do this, hated to move them when he had finally started to feel comfortable in a place. It would seem that he wasn't able to stay in one place long as there was always something that would force him to keep moving. This time though it was preemptive, he'd move before anything bad happened instead of waiting until something had, "Yaholo, please! Look at me. I am living proof that adults don't care what someone's age is, those women might not as well. I won't let them hurt our babies like I was hurt."
He turned about to start toward the house when Yaholo commented on Inali's sleep patterns, he blinked a couple time, then said, "It's alright, he's just a sleepy baby is all. That he feels comfortable enough to sleep is a good sign." He would make sure that Inali, as well as the other two, remained so amiable and content, even if that meant him being the bad guy.

Inali rolled onto his back with an "oof" sound and wriggled himself into a half-seated position. Sooo, daddy had sticks, dada was unhappy about them, and they were arguing? Typical for dada, he thought. Lots of loud, angry words came from dada's mouth, not that Inali really minded. He wasn't a kid who cared for words, or making sounds, or... Moving much at all, really. he'd rather sleep and eat and be left on his own. He moved to look between his brothers and contemplated getting up, only to look at Lixes with an arched eyebrow.
"Naaaah, I like the couch. You two go see why they're yell'in!" He chimed, yawning. "I stay here and... Wait."

Drexl blinked at his elder brother, with a small sigh the youngling went to the entrance of their home. Peeking out he softly called, "Dada...did Daddy do something silly again?"
He loved his Fathers, really. Dada was loud. Aggressive and sorta scary, but not scary as in "hide monster" more like scary as in "uh-oh TROUBLE". He was used to Dada's yelling...mostly at Daddy. With them the youngling knew that he'd get cuddles if he asked for them.

"Inali..." Lixes murmured, taking a couple steps over toward his blue haired brother, reaching out to give him a bit of a poke in the arm, "You're not going to come with us?" He asked, starring at him as he said that he was going to stay on the couch and wait. After a moment he gave a nod then followed along after Drexl, peeking passed him toward their parents, head tilting to one side, trying to catch what it was that was being said out there. Something about someone or something trying to 'hurt their babies' which had him tilting his head to one side. Was he right? Was a monster out there somewhere? Maybe a dangerous beast? He'd heard there was something scary called Menzuri that skulked around in Jauhar, maybe it was one of those?
He looked over at his brother, giving him a curious look, then back again. He didn't seem to catch that part, probably a good thing, he didn't want Drexl getting upset after all. Lifting a hand to patting his more meek brother on the head before calling out, "Is there anything we should do?" If there was a monstrous menzuri about should the three of them be hiding? Maybe under the bed? That seemed, at least to Lixes, like the best place to hide.

Yaholo paused and looked towards the house, before turning to Rilind meekly. He knew Rilind had his points and he understood the reasons perfectly clear, but... This was his home and his place. He wasn't going to leave it just because a few Sisters were causing trouble. Even if they did end up moving, he'd come right back on his own to defend everything here. It was his and no one could take it from him.
"Ril, love, I understand." He sighed, shaking his head. "And if you want to pack, go on ahead, I'll take you to Yera with the boys where you'll be the safest. But this is my home, and I don't feel comfortable leaving my family to deal with what's coming. My mother gets bad enough stares because of me, I dread to think of what they'd do to her if I'm not here to protect her."
He ran a hand through his hair, sucked in a breath, and let it out harshly.
"I already know what these women are capable of, and I know that they'd sooner murder one of their own to cover their behinds than admit to their wrong doings." He heaved, his eyes squinting together. "I know what they could use, how they would use it, and what lengths they would go to just to destroy us. However, half of my childhood was spent with these extremists, Ril, and I'll be damned if I let them stomp over everything I've made here. Do you know how hard it was just to make a home here? I'm not going to give this up without a fight!"
He bent down and scooped up the sticks before making a beeline for the house. He smiled at Lixes and Drexl as he passed them by and moved to nudge Inali once he'd placed the sticks down.
"Hey, boys, want to help me make dinner?" He asked. "We're having grilled Radaku."

There was a moment where Rilind felt that Yaholo was finally on his side in the argument when he said that he understood, though a moment later that thought was shattered. He was saying instead that if Rilind wanted to pack that he could, that Yaholo would bring Rilind and the boys to Yera, but that he wasn't going to go. So he'd just leave them so that he could return back here? He opened his mouth, wanting to yell at him, made a gurgling sound, before he just snapped his mouth shut. There was a long moment of silence from him before he gave a nod and said between his teeth, "Fine."
Turning on his heel he took a couple steps forward, pausing when Yaholo started to speak again, talking about how he knew the women, what they were capable of, and that he wouldn't let them stomp all over the home he'd made here. Rilind gave a hissing sound between his teeth, "Fine, you can stay here then, Yaholo if your pride is so important to you." He wanted to head to the house, to get to packing, but Yaholo already beat him to it, as though he was racing to the house to get there first. Rilind blinked a couple times, then sighed, giving up. He'd leave it be, let him get his way, and he'd pack later. Better that he didn't head inside or else it would likely ended up arguing more and it wasn't something he wanted to do in front of the boys.
Lifting a hand to run it through his hair, giving his two toned locks a bit of a tug from frustration, before he started to stalk about, circling around the house, looking for any sort of danger that may be present.

Inali's eyes fluttered open again as Yaholo entered the house and fidgeted under the prodding. Nooo, he didn't want to get up! He wanted to stay here and snooze! UGGGH, why did the world make him do things like getting up and walking? It was so super annoying! Begrudgingly, the youngling nodded and pulled himself up, only to blink when he didn't see Rilind in the room. Why was dada still outside? Was he doing his silly stalking dance again? He shook his head.
"DA-DAAA! Come pick me up!" He cried, flailing his arms. "I'm too sleepy and daddy poked me!"

Drexl blinked watching his Dada walk around the outskirts of the home. The youngling decided he would check on Dada after going to help his Daddy. He turned to Lixes, "Come one lets go help Daddy, Dada needs to cool off. We can go to him in a bit..."
He then walked to his Daddy, reaching up to hug Yaho's arm as he watched the other fiddle with the fire. He wasn't afraid of fire per-say. He was just nervous without his fathers nearby. "Daddy...love you." it was a thing the child often said to his fathers. As well as his brothers...

Lixes looked up at his bigger Daddy as the man came into the house, sticks in hand, asking if they wanted to help him to make dinner. He watched him for a moment, then looked back outside toward where their Dada was, watching the man as he went about his patrolling. The blond gave a sighing sound, not sure what he should do now. A part of him said that he should be doing... something, but he was much to young to really have any ideas in particular. As such he just found himself standing there in the door way even after Drexl said that they should just help with dinner, let their smaller Dada cool off. What if that wasn't what was needed? What if he needed help too?
Chewing on his lower lip he found himself in debate. If he was patrolling there might be some sort of monster, right? No, if there was a monster surely Daddy would help to chase it off instead of cooking. Were they really arguing about sticks then? Sighing he found himself unable to move, or maybe unwilling, and decided to just sit in the doorway to wait and watch, just in case their Dada decided that he needed help in his patrols. If he needed help then Lixes would help! If he helped then Inali could go back to sleep and Drexl could help ther Daddy to cook, it was the perfect plan.
