Did u kno why, that in Japanese culture, cat statues are good luck??!? Well, once upon a time, a merchant's cat would sit outside his store and beckoned in many shoppers with a waving motion. Ever since, having a cat with its paw(s) waving at an entrance is thought to bring in guests and prosperity! This is how these little raised-pawed cat statues ended up spreading to all corners of the world. Except the cat was only washing its face?! THE END :3
