 PARTICIPATION
1) All shop rules apply.
2) This ORP will run from April 6th, 2015 (Monday) to April 20th, 2015 (Friday).
3) If you join the ORP after things are already underway, that's okay! You can assume your character arrived on time.
4) Understand that this ORP is for accepted campers and students only. We will have ORPs that allow quest participation in the future.
5) Please leave OOC chatter and questions in the main thread!
FORMATTING
1) Try to limit post length to around 200-300 words, do not exceed 500 words if possible. One liners are fine! We want to maintain a casual but fast pace so we can make as much progress as possible.
2) Do not use large post formats or tiny fonts. Be mindful of text color choices on a white background. Please only use font size 12 or 11.
3) If you are tagging someone specifically in your response, bold their name. It may also help to quote the user it's directed to.
4) When posting, make it clear where your character is. Do so by adding brackets around the area you're in above your roleplay post.
For example:
Quote: [ Danny -> Buffet ] The main course selection wasn't quite to his liking, so Danny grabbed a small bowl of salad and a bottle of water.

The main hall of Majesco has been decorated and arranged to accommodate an information fair of sorts. There are tables and small booths lined up on the walls, some containing brochures and others with little presentations, diagrams, and other bites of information. Signs and banners direct your attention to the various venues set up across the school today and the smell of food from the cafeteria is faint yet appetizing.__________ TOUR - Mona Sinclair
Join Instructor Sinclair on a tour through the academy interior, around the grounds, and settle back into the cafeteria in time for lunch. Students may assist with chaperoning the younger psychics and will be assigned a partner. If you would like to go with the tour group, you must sign up by speaking to Mona.
The tour will be held in a separate thread. You must sign up for the tour before it leaves to participate.
BUFFET - Hugh Monroe
The cafeteria has been organized into an open buffet with a variety of fresh food options, drinks, and snacks. As a small fundraising incentive, each plate costs just a dollar but you can have as many servings as you want! The main courses are hamburgers and hotdogs with garden salad available, bottles of water or cartons of milk, and cookies, chips, or fruit gummies. The buffet is fully stocked with all sorts of condiments, salad dressings, and croutons.
SCHOLASTICS BOOTH - Kaspar Faust
A rectangular table with a cloth carrying Majesco's logo laid over it has a neat stack of brochures available, with one unfolded and propped up on display. At this table sits Instructor Faust with a fresh cup of coffee, ready to answer any questions and address all concerns for the scholastic curriculum at Majesco. Boring, some would say, but Instructor Faust assures you it's positively riveting. Just look at his face..
ASTRAL BOOTH - Nightshade
Seated at a round table with a deep purple cloth carrying an eyeball symbol sits Instructor Nightshade with a gentle smile. At this booth you can get a sneak peek at some of the things involved with the astral plane and the psychic courses you can expect to cover alongside the scholastic teachings. For a quarter, you can get your fortune told! (Only one per person.)
ANIMAL BOOTH - Doolittle
A small table covered with a cloth that has a happy looking dog and human face also sports a brown fluffy dog wearing spectacles sitting on a stool with his front paws resting atop. How cute! Here you can discuss psychic pet intricacies, pet power fundamentals, and get all the info you need on animal telepathy. He also has pamphlets on Majesco's pet policies.
BULLETIN BOOTH - Gabriel Golightly
At this table sits a speckled and freckled young man. Arranged across the otherwise plain table are various information and sign up sheets for Majesco's newsletter. Here you can sign up for email updates about events the school has, as well as receive pamphlets in the mail. Everyone who signs up also gets an issue of True Psychic Tales magazine, absolutely free!
CLUBS BOOTH - Reese Vaughan & Charlotte Lamb
Decorated in paper flowers of Majesco's signature colors, this eye catching table is stationed by the cafeteria and occupied by two friendly teacher assistants. One types away at her computer while the other entertains her pet crow. The table has all sorts of information about the extracurricular activities available at the school and even has an information sheet for their own club, Aura-matherapy!
PSYCHONAUT Q&A - Bianca Spektor
In the assembly room upon the stage there are two seats, occupied by the school dean, Bianca Spektor, as well as agent Culver Pinkerton. Campers and students are encouraged to take a seat and meet with the agents personally. It's a rather informal assembly and occasionally Agent Pinkerton will play his guitar. Unfortunately they cannot answer all of your questions, as some information is classified.
NURSE's STATION - Lacey Marlboro
Of course there's always the possibility someone might fall or get scraped up. Never fear! Our resident nurse is always ready with band-aids and lollipops. You can tell where she is at all times by that nifty gigantic red cross. Excuse the smoke, she has an air freshener at the ready.

[Juniper ---> entrance]
Juniper stood at the entance of the main hall, screwing up her courage. She wore her pleated black dress and her best, broadest-brimmed witch's hat with the big violet bow. She took in a deep breath, puffing out her chest, and went in.
Wait. Where was she headed? Oh! She had taken so much time just getting up the courage to go in (to her new witching school!) that she hadn't actually decided.
She went to the most non-threatening booth she saw: the doggie with the glasses and the cute paws and the cuteness.
"Uhm… hello!"

[ Lindy | Animal Booth ]Lindy spent the morning of the open house much as she had every morning since arriving at Majesco. She showered and dressed (today's outfit consisted of strappy purple sandals and an adorable black one-piece short set studded with tiny plastic rhinestones) at the crack of dawn, then spent the next two hours hunched over her phone, intently communicating with her friends and the outside world. Sula, Mikey, Poppy, and Rooney got an email each, the one to her half brother being the only correspondence that was entirely truthful. Her friends were great, but they didn't believe in psychics.
Once she'd updated Instagram with a photo of her outfit and checked her Facebook and Twitter, Lindy deemed it time to get going. Surprisingly, she was a little nervous about this event. It was true she hadn't had long to make friends here, but they usually came to her and so far... no one. She hoped her aura wasn't stinky or anything.
She entered the hall with her usual contained flair, the jingle of the room key that was looped through her bracelet muffled by her other hand. She too was drawn to Doolittle's adorableness, but Juniper was pretty adorable too. Stepping up behind the girl, she smiled brightly and wiggled her fingers at the dog, waiting for him to do something psychic.Atmadja lindy is just hanging around creepily for now no need to reply :B

[ Animal Booth w/ Juniper and Lindy ] The mutt's nose raised at the approach of one young witchy girl. His fluffy tail gave a few short wags and he leaned just a little forward to give the air around her a couple of curious sniffs. Briefly, the dog's eyes flicked over his spectacles to a new presence standing behind the younger girl. Good morning, you two, Doolittle intoned telepathically to both girls, And hello to you, Miss... J... June, is it?

((Juniper --> Animal Booth))
"Two…?" Juniper replied, slightly turning to see Lindy behind her, jumping slightly at the other presence. Then, suddenly, it dawned on her that she had not heard the dog SPEAK, but that he had communicated with her! The dog! With her! Like … LIKE MAGIC!
"OH!" She gasped, whipping back toward Doolittle, her cheeks coloring. "Oh! I'm June! No -- Juniper! Oh! I'm-- oh! That's so-- oh!!"
Her green cheeks colored further. She was at a loss for words when she should be introducing herself politely!

[ Lindy | Animal Booth ]She had expected something cute and cartoonish like a WOOF A-ROOF AWOOOO or something. Definitely not hellos and good mornings. Lindy's smile cracked then returned, though it took on a much more wonder-filled slant this time. She dropped her hands to her sides and stared until the girl, Juniper, replied and she realized the dog had spoken to the both of them.
"Good morning to you," she said, still hanging back. She was curious about pets on campus as she'd seen some of her fellow students with them, but she couldn't just butt in on a little girl's introduction to her very first talking dog. Talking dog. That was so cool. Lindy grinned and chuckled, relaxing her stance slightly. "It's very nice to meet you both."

[Cici - entrance]
The blonde looked around with wide eyes at all the booths and buffet. She was a recent arrival at the school, being older and not having come into her powers until later, so she felt a little out of place. But she knew by talking and introducing herself she would make fast friends! She also knew young campers would be arriving so she made sure to keep an eye out for lost little ones she might be able to assist.

[ WuXia | Main Hall Entrance -> Tour Sign-Up ]It was a good thing that the doors to the main hall were already open, and well-secured at that; if they hadn't been, WuXia would have almost certainly thrown them open in her eagerness to get started, and who knows what unlucky soul might have had to suffer for her enthusiasm?
The worst-case scenario hadn't happened, though - at least, not yet - and WuXia entered the hall with little of the hesitance or anxiety that might have been expected. As confident as ever, whether it was warranted or not, WuXia might well have passed as a student already, were it not for her obvious youth and the wide-eyed excitement with which she eyed everything in range. She'd been the new kid often enough, at both schools and dojos, to be little-phased by a new environment; instead, she was fighting the urge to move from one area to the next as quickly as possible, a purple-and-gold whirlwind ready to double back to whatever booth or table caught her attention first.
It was with great effort that Wu-Xia reigned herself in, remembering her manners enough to step to one side; she'd been standing in the middle of the open entryway as if she were planning on challenging everyone in its confines to a duel of honor, but others were still making their way inside, and WuXia could hear her mother's voice, telling her to be mindful of others. It seemed to be saying something else, too, and after a few moments of deep thought, WuXia succeeded in figuring out what that was.
"They'll probably offer a tour of the grounds," her mother had said, her voice almost as clear as real-life as she looked over WuXia from the laptop screen, making sure that her daughter was presentable. "I want you to sign up for that. You'll be going to school there one day, and it's never too early to know what to expect."
"Okay, māmɑ," WuXia had cheerfully agreed, fixing hair-ribbons in place on each side of her head, and straightening her cropped jacket in the screen's reflection; it was Spring, but it was still sort of cold, and WuXia wound a thick navy scarf around her neck, just in case. "Campus tour. Got it!"
Well, that was probably the tour sign-ups over there, where an older blonde girl was standing under a hand-lettered banner that proclaimed it as such. WuXia couldn't help having her eyes drawn to the room's other features, like the fortune-telling booth (that teacher looked familiar) and all the food, and was that a tiny dog with glasses?! But her mother's word was law, at least if WuXia managed to remember it, and so WuXia resolutely marched herself over to the hand-lettered banner and the blonde who was... an older student, maybe?
"Resolute" was probably too serious of a word, though, as she almost bounced into place, where an 'X' and a helpful line had been marked on the floor with masking tape. "Good morning!" WuXia greeted exuberantly, not exactly sure who she was addressing (that brochure had been so long ago!) but pretty sure it was someone to respect. "Can I sign up for the school tour?"

[ Animal Booth w/ Juniper & Lindy ] Juniper, excuse me, the dog corrected himself, I was close though. There was the sound of a soft chuckle in Juniper's head, accompanied by a bright eyed look and a sway of his tail. And you, I believe... Linda? No-- Lindy. He pressed his ears back slightly, taken by another wag of his tail -- guessing a name correctly seemed to please him. The dog raised his chin, showing off his collar and tag. My name is Doolittle. Is there anything I can help you with? It's still early, not many folks are out and about just yet.x x x x[ Entrance/Tour Sign-up w/ Wu Xia & Celine ] It was quite easy for Mona to be mistaken for an older student, that was for sure. She was short in stature and didn't dress the part of instructor at all. When Wu Xia approached, Mona had been resting against a wall with her arms behind her head and her legs crossed at the ankles but quickly she changed posture and gave the young girl a friendly wave. "Hiya!" Mona grinned. "You sure can! I'll send out a notice to ya when we're about to leave," she winked and pointed to her head, "with my brains."Celine's presence nearby was noticed, and Mona greeted the girl with a sidelong smile and wave that turned into a beckoning gesture. x

[ Zajac | Tour Sign-Up ] Zajac was nervous, and excited, but mostly nervous. He wondered where Forrest was, and hoped that the other boy would also be coming. Or maybe the girl Aide? They weren't the closest of friends but he would be happy to see at least a familiar face. As he walked through the the doors he kept towards the sides of the room, trying to keep out of the way of everyone. Eying up the booths and other things in the main hall. He was a bit overwhelmed about what to do and who to speak to, so he just made his way over to where someone stood under a sign that said tours. That was a good start right? He was sure that his sisters would tell him to go there first before exploring more.
"Excuse me..." he noticed that there was already another camper near the older blonde. "I'd like to know also... You know when the tour starts." he looked over at the other camper quickly, not sure if he had seen her before, before returing his gaze towards Mona.
