After seeing the last 2 OVAs in theatres this year it dawned on me how a franchise is now coming to an end for Japan and other parts of the world. Mr. Taliesin Jaffe is done with the project, and onto other things as well as the rest of the cast.
I will always remember the first time I saw the characters and how they resonated with the teenage me. The superb story, the voice acting cast, and of course the person that created this masterpiece, Kouta Hirano-San.
It was one heckuva ride, and for that I thank you, Hellsing, for being there heart

Suni, one of our old time regulars, once made a suberb AMV to the Matchbox20 song "How Far We've Come". She combined OVA, OA and manga images, panning over still, using motion, awesome work. It really felt like a poignant closure on Hellsing when I watched it. Sadly, it was pulled off of YouTube. Even though I legally bought a CD just for the song and never would have done so if it hadn't been for that AMV.
