 Plot
In the Jhoto region the starter pokemon every new trainer picks from are Cyndaquil, Chikorita, and Totodile. 3 pokemon and 4 new trainers who want to start their journey as soon as possible. These 4 trainers are best friends and rivals. They all wanted to start their journeys at the same time. However they knew very well that one of them would have to wait until the next time the starter pokemon were given out. So they decided to play a game to find out who would be the one left behind. Unfortunately for Michael he was the loser. But despite that he went to the professor Elm's lab with his friends to at least see them off. However just when the others were leaving with their starters Elm decided to give Michael a very special pokemon that he thought was in need of a trainer. This pokemon was an Eevee, no more like a super Eevee. This Eevee was genetically engineered to be able to evolve into any of it's current evolutions at will as well as new evolutions that scientist had discovered when making the Eevee. However these evolutions had to be unlocked by the Eevee becoming stronger through battle. So now Michael and his friends have started on they're journey full of mystery and adventure.

Bio: Always a little older than his friends, Ryan was always the mature and reliable one, though he preferred to be by himself. Despite this, though, Ryan has a soft spot for cute things. He was the second to receive his Pokemon, and nabbed Chikorita because he wanted to get the cute one.

Michael smiled as he arrived at the Pokemon lab. He was the first one there so he looked around a little as he waited for everyone to show up. He then turned back towards the lab and just stood there looking up at it while waiting. He sighed a bit at the thought that he wouldn't be able to join his friends in their journey and by the time he actually could they would probably be too far ahead for him to rival them anymore. He closed his eyes for a moment and wished that someway he would be able to get his own Pokemon and leave with his friends.

Ryan was second to arrive, and he glanced around, raising an eyebrow at the lab. He said nothing and found a wall to lean against as he and Michael waited for the others. Ryan gave a small nod to Michael, as though giving him a normal greeting to his friend, then continued to gaze around the lab, staring at the equipment.

Sonata was in the lab, in Professor Elm's lap asleep. She woke up hearing some voices outside. She whimpered, as she was shy, ran under the desk, and started hiding, shaking out of fear.

(So, like this? Sorry, I've never done this before.. ^^; ) Steffy ran into the lab, slamming the door open, and nearly hitting Ryan with the door. She was out of breath and panting heavily as she stood at the door. "I....I'm not...l-late, am I?!" she asked. Her hair was still messy, and her clothes disheveled, as though she hurried to get out the door.

Michael smiled a bit seeing Ryan and was about to speak to him but he saw Steffy run past them and into the lab. He flinched a little as she almost hit him on the way in. He then walked inside with her and looked at her. "Uh no you're not late Steffy you're actually earlier than Jake" He said with a bit of a chuckle at her.

(Sorry I'm late to posting. lol.) Jake walked slowly in, wearing a fully stocked backpack. He raised an eyebrow when he heard them say that he was late. "Late nothing. I'm prepared. As for Pokemon, I think there's enough. Judging from what I heard around the lab the other day." Jake nodded slightly as if to add emphasis to his statement.

Sonata was watching them from behind the doorway. She was shaking a little and had her ears back showing she was shy. Sonata whimpered a bit as she looked at them shyly.

Jake glanced at the doorway when he heard a noise there for a moment. Then he turned and directly looked at the small Eevee. He knelt down slowly, "Hey, it's an Eevee. I didn't know the Professor had one here." Jake slowly reached out his hands toward the Eevee. "Are they normally that color?"

Michael looked over at the Eevee Jake was talking about. He then smiled seeing it was a different color. "Whoa it's a shiny" He said smiling brightly at the Eevee as he knelt down near it. "I've never seen one before" He said knowing only that the color variation usually meant a pokemon was a shiny version based on his father owning a shiny Charizard.
