Aya had led Triss out of the city, up a seldom used woodland path. The woods around them were light up by Volbeat and Illumise as the partners walked. Aya held Triss' hand as he looked back to his little beloved. Things were going perfectly...he led him further up the path. Coming around a corner he came upon his Cottage. He smiled, "Don't worry about the lack of light. I'll see to fixing that once we get inside. The main fireplace is great for lighting up the main rooms." The cottage was a masterpiece. His Trainer had built it a long time ago with her teams help. Aya was too small to help back then, but that didn't mean he wasn't barking orders. The fireplaces which littered the rooms were angled to light the whole room itself, a large fire pit sat in the center room. Basicly modern day luxuries were a thing of the past with this place. It was how his trainer wanted things...simple. He smiled as he opened the door, "Welcome to my home...here...stand here and I'll get the main fire going." Once he left Triss' side the male walked to the central fireplace, humming as he set it up. Once the fire was going, he went around lighting the oil lamps which littered the walls.

Lack of light? Tristan was surprised by that statement, but more so when Aya began speaking of a fireplace. Huh. So this home of his, it didn't have lighting? That was different. "It must get pretty hot in the summer," he said, giving Aya's hand a squeeze. The minun was a fan of summer, the green grass, the blue skies, the sunshine, the chance to meet more people as they decided to emerge from their homes and enjoy the day. He had never appreciated the heat.
"You've a beautiful home," he added, looking around. He waited as Aya left his side, lighting the fireplace and the oil lamps. He gave the room another glance, before smiling. "So. What's next?"

Aya smiled as he came back to take Triss' hand, "Well, its not completely devoid of modern day, there's wiring to one room where the PC and Home Theater are set up. As for summer...that's the best thing. My trainer..." he led the other to where a large picture was framed on the wall. In the center was a female trainer with long black hair. Her crystal blue eyes would spear you into your soul if you stared too long. In her lap was a Shiny Zoura, looming behind her was a Scoliopede, While a Pidgeot perched itself on one side. Coiled around her feet was a Arbok, with a Feraligator one her other side and the last of her team. A Mismagus hovered on the other side of the Scoilopede. "My family. The others were placed with her siblings, she has a bunch. My trainer...passed." he looked down, "She got sick. By the time we got her help...she was too far." he sighed, "So...we lost her in her sleep. We mourned. Then her elder brother came. He divided us up to the siblings he knew would care for us. By the time he came...I found a star. The others..." he chuckled, "They protected me when he came. They feared he would ship me off. He didn't, he raised me here. Let me stay as he went back home."He rubbed the back of his neck, "That's my story..."

For a place that seemed so simple, hearing that it had a home theater surprised Tristan. "Your trainer's beautiful," he complimented. He'd never had a trainer, not really. He'd been adopted by two older pokemon, thrown out, and adopted again, by a human. He didn't think of her as a trainer, though. He'd hated her at first. He'd wanted to go home; he became accustomed to their crowded home. He'd even accepted her as a mother.
He pulled Aya into a hug. "I'm so, so sorry." Losing ones' family was the worst thing; and to lose them all in one fell swoop... Poor Aya! "Could you visit them?"

Aybliss smiled as he buried his face into the other's neck and shoulder; "Visiting is a slight issue. Her siblings think I'm with the elder brother. They have no idea I'm here. Well...one does. Her youngest brother Rai. He's a cool kid. As soon as he came up here to clean and saw me again. He just smiled, then sat to talk with me a while. His team is pretty cool." He pulled back to kiss Tristan's forehead, "One day I hope you meet him. He's a sweet kid."

For a long moment, Tristan didn't say anything. He just held Aya, grip on his boyfriend tightening slightly. "Maybe they'll find stars too," he said. "Then you could see them. They could come visit you. They could come here and stay a while. I could make everyone something to eat, maybe we could have a picnic."
He hesitated, before saying, "Maybe sometime, I can share my story with you. Not today. Did you enjoy the dance, love? Maybe we can do something like that again." It'd been fun. More fun than he'd expected, even after Tania had interrupted them. "You met my little sister, she's a little difficult, but you'll like her." Eventually, he was sure.

Aya smiled, "One day. Take your time. I didn't mean for me being upfront to make you feel obligated to open up to me." he nuzzled him, "I want you to live here with me. I want to wake up to see you every day and fall asleep to you every night."
He chuckled, "Yeah. It was fun. Your lil sis is alright. She has to get used to me I fear...."

Tristan's eyes widened. A blush crossed his face, and it was his turn to hide against Aya's shoulder. He hadn't expected that. They were dating, and happy--but to be asked to live with him? He didn't know what to say. The house was beautiful, and it was certainly large enough--
Did this mean Aya was proposing to him? He made a choking sound, and swallowing, gave a nod. "A-alright, I'll have to let mom know, and get my stuff and...stuff."

Aya wasn't proposing...yet. He had a plan to see if they would last. If they survived more than 6 months living together he would ask. Right now, it was more of a 'we're-dating-no-other-guy-is-allowed-to-look-at-you' thing...
He chuckled, "Alright. I hope your Mom will give us her blessing." he ran a steady hand through Tristan's hair, "I look forward to welcoming you home."

Tristan hesitated for only a moment, before flashing Aya a sunny smile. "I'm sure she will," he assured. The truth was, though, that he wasn't so sure. Last time their family had one of those live-in relationships, it'd ended badly. The guy Timmy'd been engaged to had completely forgotten him. And his daughter. He wasn't sure Dea would be eager for a repeat.
"And if she's not," he said, more for his benefit than Aya's, "I'm sure I could convince her otherwise. Might have to introduce you to her first, though. You know. Do the bring a boy home for dinner sort of thing."

Aya chuckled as he ran long fingers through the other's hair, "I'd like that...Triss...you have pretty eyes."
the male wanted to tease his little lover a tad. So, it was time for a few lines of flirting.

"Maybe you could--" But what Aya might have done was lost to Tristan, as he blinked at the zorua's words. Pretty eyes? That was a new one. He flushed, glancing away. "Thank you," he said, awkwardly. He stood on tip toes to kiss Aya on the cheek. "You do, too." He still wasn't sure how to respond to compliments like that; was he supposed to react at all?

Aya chuckled, "Thank you...Triss. Did you want to see my room? I'm sure you'll love it...."
He had another motive. But that could wait for a later date. This was more to further tease the other with what could be if Tristan didn't conjure the image on his own. Aya would be more than happy to help...

And though Tristan was sure, for once, that he knew the zorua's motive for inviting him to his room, he nodded. "I'm sure its as nice as the rest of the house," he said. What could they do in the zorua's bedroom, besides the obvious? He felt himself blushing at the idea.
"D'ya want to watch a movie?" He blurted.

Aya blinked, oh so he got that meaning huh? Well...this just got fun. He chuckled, "Sure...this way." he led the smaller male into the home theater. There was only a large semi circle couch which had Aya smiling fondly, "My trainer had all of us louging with her when she watched the TV. Watch this..." he pressed a button and the couch lowered as a in-ground harem bed, "This was if we started falling asleep...."
