She wants to learn about everything, and is very studious when it comes to the lessons with Eshe. She believes there is no one side to any given story. That there are always three, the left, the right, and the truth. And she also believes that every Alkidike who respects and follows Aisha is worth the protection of every sister in the tribe. No matter how much, or how little the strength of the Alkidike blood is within them. History ⊹ Aselia's lotus had opened much sooner than Eshe had anticipated. As such the tiny Alkidike was born prematurely. In desperation to save the sprout who had just been born, Eshe sought the help of a Hybrid Alkidike by the name of Rishima. As it was there were ingredients she needed in order to make a paste. A paste that would help Aselia grow and thrive. However, as a Mystic she could not leave with the infant on a dangerous quest. So Rishima was sent to Sauti to collect Suruhama feathers in order to heal the fragile youngling that had been born premature. While the task had been rough it had been completed as quickly as he could manage. Upon his return with the feathers, Eshe prepared the medicine and fed it to the infant Aselia, who seemed to regain her health and vitality.
It wasn't long before her markings began to change their sheen and shift themselves on her body. By the time she was supposed to have been born, the shift was complete. She was imbued with the Suruhama's magic. She was still in Eshe's care when the knowledge of her power became known and was immediately passed on to Eshe by her mothers for permanent keeping. To raise her in the ways of the Alkidike mystic alongside Kadriye, though she was years younger than the elder mystic. Aselia herself was never meant to be. As it is said that there will rarely ever be more than three Alkidike Mystics in one place.
Aselia loved her soft, and kind, elder sister Kadriye. As such she grew to deeply cherish her big sister, watching as the older Mystic grew to love another Alkidike. It pained Aselia to loose so much of her elder sisters attention. The young mystic had grown to adore and even idolize her and Eshe. Often when Kadriye would leave, it was to places that Aselia was not ready to go. And so in return Kadriye would often bring back gifts and momento's of the various places she had been. This helped to increase the younglings desire for knowledge, increasing her curiosity little by little.
Growing up and into her own person, Aselia had heard rumors about her birth. How she was unnatural. How her presence is a curse, or yet a great change set about by Aisha. In a search to discover more about what the rumors really meant it wasn't long before the young mystic demanded to know about her own birth. Discovering there was an Alkidike responsible for saving her, Aselia yearned to meet Rishima all throughout her studies and that still persists to this day.
She loved her lessons with Eshe and her elder sister Kadriye. Soaking in as many details as she could. The languages, the lotus blooms that she would learn to bring into the world. As with all Mystics before her, Aselia learned the hidden language of the Ancestors by the time she was six. It was then that Aselia was brought in to sit in on Eshe's rituals and duties and to watch and observe.
Being a youngling, Aselia did not leave Eshe's side often. Training took up most of her time and she was far to young to be able to join in any of the world events outside of the world around her lessons. She heard rumors here and there of worlds and people and wars. She however was never able to experience them.
As a Prentice the young mystic is only just staring to assist in the rituals, and is free to wander Tendaji if only for the time being. Though Aselia doesn't seem to ever travel from Chibale often. Her duties to the Alkidike people are held firmly as part of who she is.

It was given originally to Teiluj who earned it from her lessons with another mixed blooded tamer in tale. However the egg had been used to bargain for a healer to help save Nkoles life. The egg had traveled through some more hands before hatching and being abandoned on the streets in Ast. Aselia unable to see the young bird struggling took it back to Aisha with her.
