This power plant had once been a working, running building, but was mysteriously abandoned suddenly, and left alone for several years. The machines still worked however, and therefore it soon became infested with electric Pokémon, feeding off of the electrical energy that the plant provided. Rumor has it that the plant was abandoned because the legendary bird of electricity ZAPDOS made its roost there and warded off all intruders in it's territory, however a few years ago a project was put together to rebuild the plant, and today the Kanto Power Plant is now fully functional and refurbished, generating energy for homes and buildings all across the Kanto region.

The fallen object hadn’t been too difficult to find at Cerulean Cave, and she was back in the air before ZK was even done sending his message. She let him keep the device, for the time being, even though she needed it to set things up. She might as well talk with the porygon, first. Though, could they even talk? Rotom could control devices, but porygon was normal type, and without her pokedex, could it actually do much? Well, at the very least, it could probably understand, and that was a good enough starting place. It was still weird not having a psychic pokemon around. Still, she had gone plenty of time without having one; she could communicate with pokemon fine, she just needed to readjust herself. If anything it was a good reminder not to use psychic pokemon as a crutch for good old fashioned intuition and communication. Pokemon were smart, and as they swept down towards the Power Plant, she set up a few expectations for what she wanted to get done, while her pokemon searched the area for another of the fallen objects.

As they landed, ZK hopped off, his nose already down to the communicator. She rolled her eyes, eying the device. It had been updated so many times, but it was still sort of old fashioned. A pokedex, a communicator… it could access the internet, not that she used it for that much, and her pokemon storage. Having a porygon would definitely make taking care of things and organizing stuff a lot easier. Hell, maybe she could finally move all her pokemon back into the PC, since the porygon could keep an eye on it, and make sure no one was stealing from her again. She pulled out Porygon’s pokeball, rolling it around in her hand a bit, before shaking her head, and releasing her pokemon. As ZK finished sending his message, he stepped over, handing the device to her with a hard to read expression. ”You got some sort of alert, by the way,” he informed her, pulling his hands back to stuff them into his pockets, ”Some kind of super pokemon or something.”

Ajicka frowned and took the device, glancing briefly to make sure the others were searching. Another pokemon? Huh, they really were popping up a lot more. Must have to do with these falling objects, which was all the more reason to get more information on them. And the best way to do that, probably, would be to send her porygon. She ran a hand through her hair and rolled the pokeball around a bit more, before finally releasing the pokemon. Her expression twitched slightly, almost imperceptibly, when she noticed how very, very…. small the pokemon was, as it appeared hovering in the air in front of her. Smaller than she was pretty sure was normal for a porygon. It blinked, then bobbed in the air and met her gaze patiently, curiously. Although she hadn’t expected it to be quite so small, Ajicka wasn’t exactly bothered. Hell, size meant very little to her. Jas had started off pretty small, and now, he was enormous, and not just because of his megastone, either. ”I’m not sure how much that casino place really interacted with you,” Ajicka started, one hand on her hip as she shifted her weight, and settled her focus onto the pokemon, ”But I’m you’re new trainer. And I have some stuff I need you to do.”

Lafayette looked confused as Dova flew over a power plant of all things. Up until this point, the stars had found their way into every natural residence you could imagine. Tunnels, forests, islands. But a power plant? That was new.
It was a new experience too. Like so many other places, Lafayette had never stepped foot in the area. As they touched down, he took to ducking behind some nearby brush. He wasn’t sure if the place was running and if so if there would be guard personnel wandering about. The last thing he needed was to get arrested for trespassing in this collection question.

This was a bit of a pickle. And thus, called for his pokemon to act again. Noah was ready, immediately he was attempting to toddle for the fence the moment he noticed his trainer’s hesitation. He yelped at a forceful tug on his tail, head snapping around to glare and see that it was Lafayette himself who’d stopped him.
"Yeh can’ go in there Noah. Yeh wata’ mate. Migh’ be dangerous." Electric places had a nasty habit of attracting electric type pokemon. This time, the Aussie let Ori out, the Luxray blinking in surprise. He’d been in and out of the pokeball so much, he hardly knew what was going on. At first, he thought maybe it was training time again. Instead, he found Lafayette showing him an odd glowing starburst. Was this some other concoction they were supposed to consume? Because that’d be a hard pass for him.
"Ori, yeh think ya could poke aroun’ in there for me? See if yeh can’ find one of these?" Ori studied the strange rock, giving it a little sniff and a nudge. It seemed a simple enough task. His gaze shifted to the power plant, nose in the air sniffing before he prowled away. He found a gap in the fencing and slipped through, glancing back at Lafayette for confirmation to continue, which he received in the form of a nod.

Stealthily, Ori made his way around the power plant’s property, ever attentive just in case a wandering worker or guard came his way. He ran across numerous other electric types in the process; Voltorbs that sat huddled in a corner, staring him down menacingly, Magnemites floating lazily through the air, and even a Pikachu toddling about here and there.
It wasn’t one of these pokemon that held what he was looking for though. In fact, it wasn’t even an electric type. Ori’s nose scrunched as a foul stench filled his nostrils just as a familiar glimmer appeared out the corner of his eye. Turning his head, Ori narrowed a disgruntled look at the Grimer rolling across the ground, the Wishing Star stuck in its muck.
Gross.
Still, though, he couldn’t go back empty-handed. Without hesitation, Ori released a stream of lightning at the Grimer. He thought it’d be enough to knock the pokemon out in one go, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, the blob retaliated. Lunging at the Luxray, Ori was overwhelmed by its scent, yelping as a sharp pain pierced his arm. The Luxray wobbled back, a wave of nausea swooping over him. Ugh. What had happened? He shook it off, growling and shooting another ray of lightning at the Grimer which did put an end to its reign of terror.
Relieved, but sick feeling, Ori retrieved the wishing star. He didn’t know what the purpose of it was, but he got it and Lafayette would be proud. And the sooner he made it back, the sooner he could rest…

From what Eveline remembered, the place had been abandoned for years and years for some reason, apparently the exact reason why the former employees had left the facility to fall into disrepair was still being debated. But even after not being used for so long, quite a few of the machines were said to still be operational. For the longest time, though, few people dared to even approach the area because Zapdos had taken to nesting in the deserted plant and wouldn’t allow anyone to come near. Though it seemed that the legendary bird hadn’t been seen for quite some time since then, perhaps it had decided to move on and find somewhere else to roost. Still, Eveline certainly hoped they wouldn’t run into any such Pokemon during their search. ✧✧【As Soho stealthily weaved his way around through the grass, he could certainly see what Lambrusco had meant about those Voltorb and how they looked so much like Pokeballs. There was a good number of them scattered all about the grounds, most of them appeared to be asleep but a few were still alert and awake as he could clearly see the telltale sharp eyes that immediately gave away their disguise. Arceus… You’d think that the people who worked here would try to keep these things away from the area, having something close by that could potentially explode and cause significant damage to the building if you so much as looked at it funny sounded like a pretty serious workplace hazard all things considered.
Well, at the very least it hardly took long for him to find where one of those stars had apparently fallen, but… unfortunately one of those Voltorb was parked pretty close to it too. s**t… At the very least he couldn’t be seen, and it looked like the Pokeball-like Pokemon was fast asleep. Still, if he took a wrong step or got too close and woke it up, that would definitely not be fun… Ears alert and eyes trained on the Voltorb for any movement, Soho carefully crept his way over towards where the star was resting. So far, so good… Barring it didn’t suddenly wake up and decide to set off an explosion this should be easy enough. Picking up the star in his teeth, Soho kept his tip-toeing pace as he made his escape, taking care to not accidentally bump into another one along the way and only breaking into a full on run back to Eveline once he was completely clear of the miniature minefield of Voltorb. That had been pretty tense, hopefully they wouldn’t have to deal with more of those volatile Pokemon in the other places they’d have to scout around here.】✧✧

Looking for the fallen object had taken longer than she expected, but it gave her time to get things set up with Porygon, and to work things out with ZK. He'd stick around, train his pokemon-- she was going to continue on. Not to search for more fallen stars, though; she'd managed to figure out that experts surrounding these shards were located in Galar, that there was research involving the energy -- or whatever -- involved in them, and that they'd been working on how it was involved with pokemon evolution.
Personally, Ajicka hadn't been to Galar. She had heard about it, after emerging from the E4, but she hadn't really traveled it. Alola either. Both were good options for where to start fresh with her new team -- and team idea -- but one of the pokemon she'd taken an interest in was actually from Galar, and with these fallen stars and all...
Well, the decision wasn't hard.
Once Durant had managed to dig up the fallen object, Ajicka added it to the collection. "You're sure you're going to be fine?" she asked, pocketing the last pokeball once she'd recalled all her pokemon. She frowned at ZK, who rolled his eyes, his arms crossed over his chest and 'his' pokemon still out around him. "Yeah. Yeah I'm sure. It's not that hard, you know," he replied back with a sneer. The expression almost made it possible to see his true visage underneath the illusion.
Ajicka stared flatly back, letting the silence hang. When he stubbornly stuck to the claim, she spoke coolly back. "Between constant teams stealing pokemon, attacking trainers, stealing badges, and wild pokemon, natural disasters, dangerous pokemon, your special condition, and countless other stuff.... yeah, it can be that hard. But whatever. Even if you screw up, your pokemon will probably take care of you." Ajicka's gaze drifted down to the group around the other's feet as she did. Fritz, Murkrow, Pancham.... they were all going with him. Omanyte was staying with her, at least for now. Her gaze settled on Fritz-- he'd evolve to a psychic type, the one real outlier in the slight trend of dark pokemon he had going. Still, she had a feeling he would end up being one of the most reliable. Maybe it was a bias, what with her own fire starter, and the similarities between the skittish pokemon before her, and her own uncertain charmander way back when, but she held a quiet faith that the fire fox would grow to be a powerful balancing counterpart to ZK.
.... Hopefully, at any rate.
"I'll check in. Get a communicator of your own, so that's easier. Otherwise, we'll have to check in with pokecenters and Deoxys, if he ever shows up again," she said, pulling out her own device to check her instructions. ZK was staying quiet, his gaze averted, and with one last unimpressed glance from her, she released Jas, climbed onto his back, and headed off.
