Blood Type: B negative

Orientation: Bisexual
Relationship Status: Single

Physical Description:
Eyes: Large, angled █████ #FF0075 - "Rose" colored eyes.
Hair: █████ #FED33C - "Bright Sun" in color, worn in a long curl over her left shoulder, and her long bangs sweep to the right.
Face: Full cheeks and round face shape with █████ #FCFEDA - "Moon Glow" skin tone. She loves gold makeup. 6 feet and 1 inch tall.
Clothes: Hope's style is punk, rainbow, and pop culture.

School/: St. Magdalena's Seminary.

Hobbies:
Cinephile - Hope loves movies. She loves tv shows. She loves recognizing characters from different roles. Hope loves to catch new movies as the come to the big screen or on the night they premiere. Her favorite genres range from sci-fi to comedies to action to romance and more and with that, she's a fan of most fandoms. She loves watching her favorite shows with others, but has no qualms about watching something by herself.

Gaming - Give this girl a controller and don't expect her to vacate the seat directly in front of the screen for a good period of time, although at least once every other week, she rage quits and those are terror-ific. This girl can get into most games. She's huge into Skyrim, Call of Duty, and DC Universe. She loves to play online, with a group, and even have LAN parties, FTW! Her favorite gaming systems are definitely her Playstation systems. Though she enjoys the modern consoles she has a special love for the older systems, the NES and even to the Intellevision.

Music - Music is a huge part of Hope's life. She's constantly listening to Pandora, checking out artists on Youtube, and even coming up with something of her own. She doesn't write her own music, but homemade ditties help her make it through the day if she can't have something playing. Hope loves many kinds of music, but some genres she dislikes include Bluegrass and Country.

Socializing - Most specifically partying, although all sorts of social gatherings get Hope interested; the cheaper, the better! She loves most everything about getting out and interacting with others. It's rare that a weekend goes by without her having been to at least one function. She hates to turn down invites and tends to extend invites to whoever she runs into, even without the host's approval.

Virtues:
Ambitious - When Hope sets her mind to something, everyone around her is going to know it. She hates to be told that she can't do something and will go out of her way to prove that person wrong. She is one to reach for her goals no matter what obstacle she faces and constantly strives to be better at everything she does.

Frugal - Hope has a particular vendetta against those who spend money they don't have on frivolous things and swears she will be different. After all, the massive debt her parents found themselves in spurned their split and ultimately their divorce. No more than a month later, she moved in with her aunt Elsa and found herself in a home where at least any money troubles were kept from the dependents' knowledge. Her experience instilled a deep sense of frugality in her life and vowed to work and save for things she may want (Even as much as she loves media, she only occasionally purchases anything.) or need instead of borrowing or taking charity.

Loyal - Hope isn't the easiest person to really get close to, but when she does start to view someone as a best friend, she will always do everything she can to have their back. She will always be looking out for possible threats to her friends' and loved ones' well beings. Sometimes that means having to bring someone back to reality to see something that may be a danger to them.

Talkative - No talking about issues is something Hope has no clue to do. She's sure to let you know if there's something she needs to let you know about. Along with that, she is sure to share her thoughts on any and all subjects, with or without a prompt.

Flaws:
Aggressive - Not only does Hope go after what she wants, but she will be vicious to anyone or thing that stands in her way. She knows what she wants and little to nothing will stand in her way or she'll do whatever she can to take whatever it is down.

Crude - Hope can be a downright b***h. She'll take measures many people wouldn't to obtain an outcome she'd want. If your interests don't match up with hers, you could be in for some serious attitude, fit throwing, and if she's fired up enough, physical retribution.

Perfectionist - An over-abundance of determination can lead to one-tracked thinking and Hope has a habit of doing just that. She tends to get so caught up in whatever she focuses on that she can't seem to stop thinking about it, night or day. Everything has a place in Hope's world and she has to have everything in it's place. She needs to be at the top of her class in every situation and strives to be better at what she succeeds at. She has trouble accepting things if there could have been a more perfect situation and will obsess over the "better" option. It can, has, and frequently does keep her from completing tasks quickly, as she's rarely pleased with the outcome first time around. This stresses her out a LOT. For instance, when IV breeding in her Pokemon game, she refused to accept the 5 IV Pokemon for her team because a 6 IV counterpart is possible, even though the perfect stats were spread among out as she needed.

Vulgar - Curse words are a large part of Hope's vocabulary, no matter the time, day, or place. She constantly receives mean glances from disapproving mothers, holding their child's ears so that they might not pick up on her verbal filth.

About Sterope:

Residents are called Steropians, nicknamed "Sparks". It is a matriarchal Monarchy, but the Princess is also supported by a Council of Elders. Far from a bureaucratic nightmare the general population is encouraged to get involved and can submit petitions to both the Princess and the Council. The Capital buildings are not restricted from anyone and neither are the Council meetings and open Court sessions.

Being Princess is not an inherited position along family lines. When the old Princess dies or is close to death the "Divine Spark" will find the girl that is to become the next Princess. It should be noted that the word Queen is never used because the Steropians do not believe in it. The Princess rules side by side with the Council of Elders and not does not have absolute power. Therefore they believe that she never becomes "Queen" in any traditional sense.

The Senshi usually awakens young and is raised by the Princess in accordance with ancient tradition. There is no usual gender for Senshi. They are sheltered, cared for, and educated during their formative years and usually emerge into society in their early teens. Since there is not an active military presence in Sterope the task of protection generally falls to the senshi who shows strong offensive capability.

To date Sterope has not involved itself in any wars and has not had any significant threat from outside forces. Mostly because it doesn't have a whole lot to offer

Sterope is a sprawling place with quite a lot of color. Walkways are paved with pale smooth stone. There are large rivers that run even through the cities, lined with the same pale stone that paves the rest of the city. The architecture is actually quite elegant emphasizing classic structure and geometrical lines over more curved and flowery looks.

The wealth on Sterope is sort of a strange thing. The Steropians works more with the barter system than they does with actual currency though currency does exist from the tourism the planet receives as well as all exports. They import very little since the planet is lush enough to maintain both crops and animals. There is a lot of light everywhere. The population is actually relatively small for this planet with a majority of the people tending their own fields or farms. There are people that cluster in the cities and see to the tourist attractions and other such businesses. The Capital is by far the largest of these cities and is linked to every other by magnetic rail.

The main ways to travel on Sterope are by horse, by magnetic rail, or by electric carts that funnel power from the central grid.

In every way they can the Steropians use natural energy. There is an annual annuity granted to Capital scientists to this end. Farmers use practices to replenish nutrients in the soil that are depleted in crop growth. The cities are build in order to maintain nature's harmony and will not disrupt or destroy any natural landscape such are rivers, hills, or rocky outcroppings.

The weather is usually sunny and light but the planet is also known for occasional and violent lightning storms. To combat these lethal storms there are large lightning rods built throughout the planet that catch the bolts and store them in a central grid through many miles of wire. It is their main source of power.

A certain vined flower grow in abundance all over the verdant fields of the planet. It can take over existing bushes where it finds them, threading through and taking over their structure for its own. If not carefully managed these vines can choke the life out of the plant it takes over. Despite this the flowers are largely left alone by the population. They are the national flower and are called "Zap Flowers." The legend is that if someone gives one to their beloved they will feel a spark if the love is really meant to be.

Because of these flowers Sterope is a large tourist destination and they also export the flowers to other neighboring planets. Under no circumstances are tourists allowed to leave with any root structure of this vine. Certain whole plants have been granted to other rulers and to own a flowering vine off of Sterope is considered an honor. These plants also come with a warning lest they disrupt and take over the native vegetation.

Other than the purple flowers orange, yellow, and green and white are the predominant colors of the world. Native animal life is not just limited to the grazing and farm animals brought into the planet. There are, in fact, a myriad of animals native to the fields and forests.

A popular pet among households are called "squits." Squits are longish, furry, intelligent, and very cuddly. They do not grow larger than most domesticated cats. They can be very colorful in shades of red, orange, yellow, tan, and brown and prefer to eat vegetables though they are technically omnivores. They are especially fond of sunfruit. They are also protective creatures and some are used as guardians against prowlers or stray wild animals out in farm country.

There are several well known locations on Sterope:

  • The Sandswept Dunes - one of the few deserts on the planet, this dangerous area is always under threat of electrical storms as well as sand storms. The air in this region is so heavily charged that tourists' hair will stand up even when they visit in the protection of cooled glass domes.
  • The Capital City - known for its simple and elegant look the Capital has stood for hundreds of years and is where the Princess, Council, and Senshi reside. It is also the main tourist attraction on the planet. Two major rivers run through the city lined in white sandstone. There is a native population of about 10,000 but can reach a maximum population of about 40,000 or so in the height of the season.
  • The Sun Forest - characterized by the yellow flowering trees that give it its name, this is where the majority of the sunfruit grows. The fruit is yellow and round with long spikes on it and comes from the large yellow flowers that blossom on the trees early in their season. Sunfruit has a sweet citrus quality to it and texturally eats like a pear. The blossoms are sweet smelling and catch the light making them appear to glow during the day. This is a popular destination for weddings.
  • Highpoint Spire - In the mountains just beyond the Sandswept Dunes, Highpoint Spire is a lightning rod that catches no few of the strikes during the ever present storms in the region. Since it has become so safe tourists are allowed there as part of tours to see the lightning strike up close.
  • Shrine of the Divine Spark - One of the few destinations with religious and cultural significance, this shrine is one of the oldest structures on the planet. It is where specialized priests can commune with the Spark to determine the new Princess. It is also where senshi are sent to fully awake with a ritual that has been used for as long as senshi have been on Sterope. The temple is mostly open walled to allow the spark to enter. There are no lightning rods around this shrine and yet lightning has never struck the building directly even in the strongest tempest.
  • The Palace - Where both the current Senshi and Princess live, most of the Palace is not open to the public. There are occasionally festivals and special events held there that are open to the public. The Palace sits very near the Council building and is the only building that utilizes a "prettier" architecture style.
