We return to this wonderful time of the year. Love has taken force on the SDRP Academy and brought a stash of events to tickle your fancy and express your feelings for others. We welcome you to come witness the cycles of love and all the stages of heartache in this fantastical tale! We just can't guarantee that you won't become an actor yourself!
I have a confession, SDRPers: I'm very concerned about our Captain. He hasn't been himself lately--sighing with a dreamy look on his face, sniffing roses, mistaking his socks for his lunch. It's downright weird, I tell you! On top of that he's been writing poetry. I know, I know: "What's wrong with that, Thorn? We are, more or less, a guild full of writers and poets." Well, I been finding these babies lying around, everywhere! *holds up a crumpled wad of red, scented stationary*
Listen to this: *clears throat and smooths out the wad*

"Roses are red, Violets are blue, My Tallulah, you are a stunner, My heart beats like a drummer"
*makes a face as she reveals another wad of paper, which is now open and ready for reciting*

"Tallulah, the sight of you makes my heart sing! Your eyes are like diamonds and your fair hair like silk, with skin so soft and pale as milk. You inspiring songs and uplifting spirit are contributing factors. I love you the way a farmer loves his tractors."
*winces, crumples both poems, and tosses them over her shoulder*
I don't know about you SDRPers, but this is rather painful to read. None of his drivel can possibly win this mystery woman's heart! Whether he knows it or not, our Captain is in desperate need of our help. Help me find out who "Tallulah" is and, with our combined efforts, we can come up with a poem that's sure to impress her!

1. Contestants are limited to one entry, each. 2. Create the mystery woman! The avatar must be original and of your own design; follow the theme and be creative. 3. Poem must be between 3 - 5 stanzas. Be creative and, please, refrain from using explicit, offensive language/descriptions. Entries not following this specification are subject to rejection. 4. Fill out the Entry Form (found near the bottom of this post) with your avatar creations and written pieces, then PM the form to Thornwick with the subject "SDRP's V-Day 2k15 Tektek Contest". Entries not following this specification are subject to rejection. 5. Entries with sexual content will be swiftly rejected. 6. All entries must be received by Feb. 27th, 2015.Note: If we haven't received enough entries, we may grant interested contestants a grace period of our choosing.
Winners will be announced March 2nd, 2015! Note: Depending on the overall cost, we may or may not create the winning "Tallulah". But, hey--the winner still gets to walk away with some pretty snazzy prizes.

Be sure to be fun and festive! Though red, pink, and white are traditional Valentine's Day colors, feel free to use a range a of colors for the ensemble (as long as it ties in with the season's theme). Please, refrain from inappropriate outfits.
