б╚ The Pokémon ╝∂Post 5 • Name: Daphne de Sauveterre• Pronunciation: DAAF-nee dee-SOOV-tehr• Name Meaning: "Laurel" in Greek; name of a mythological nymph who was turned into a laurel tree by her father for protection; the name of a genus of shrubs known for their flowers and poisonous berries• Gender: Female• Stage: Child• Sexuality/Status: Unknown / Single• Height: 4' 7"• Weight: Average, toned• Pokémon: Croagunk (blessed by Shiny Manaphy)• Nature: Relaxed (attuned)• Myers-Briggs Type: ISTJ (guardian type, inspector role-variant)• Personality: Daphne is an individual who always seems to emit a quiet sense of power. Despite her gangly appearance, she can be rather intimidating, if only from body language and lack of verbal response -- in fact, she can seem downright cold and uncaring to the outside world. She is very observant, and by extension, quite studious, when she puts her mind to a task or tasked outcome. Regardless of the impression she may give another, Daphne is very protective of those that she has grown attachment to, but this connection may not appear as greatly when in any instance other than dire straits.• Likes: Daphne is a restless spirit. If not tasked with something, it is difficult for her to feel happy. While given something of any sort of importance is preferred, she knows that beggars can't be choosers. The girl likes helping in any way she may be able to, and doesn't mind physical labor if the undertaking calls for it; she won't bat an eye. She enjoys battling, whether on friendly terms or not, and similarly enjoys watching the battles of those with skill -- it not only broadens her horizons, but gives her renewed appreciation of what is out there to learn and forge for oneself.• Dislikes: She has never been one for jokes, per se, but it seems far more tolerable to her than teasing of any sort. To Daphne, remarks that fall along those lines seem more an attempt to provoke or belittle a person -- she doesn't see what is so 'funny' about it. Post 6 • Name: Rowan de Sauveterre• Gender: Male• Age: Low-20's• Sexuality/Status: Bi / Single• Height: 5' 8"• Weight: Starving artist• Species: Human• Occupation: Film and photography student• Personality: A friendly guy who may be just a little too trusting, he's a classic case of being the bookish, quiet one. While not exactly shy, Rowan has a bad habit of trying to stay out of things, avoiding risk or trying anything new. He can, however, be easily persuaded when one knows the right buttons to push. Amiable to a fault, he picks his words carefully when he isn't put on the spot. Nevertheless, he is still seen as being rather quirky, even amongst his peers -- he is very imaginative, so much so that he can very rarely put his ideas as adequately as he would like to in his choice mediums. As such, Rowan can often lose himself in his studies.• Likes: Rowan is his own worst enemy when it comes to dividing time between things he wants to do, and things he needs to do. He likes the breaks he can get from worry and stress, but said stresses tend to be the things he feels he can't stop until he's completely done with. He enjoys the quiet when he is reading or studying, and remains partial to it outside of those tasks. He has a fondness for drama and theater productions, and can appreciate the skill it takes. Rowan prefers to use citrus and caffeine as a crutch to keep him going past what would otherwise prove to be his limitations.• Dislikes: As with most every person within a school setting, Rowan is highly adverse to tests. In fact, tests in general, he can do without, for the anxiety it produces. Along the same lines, he has a fear of needles, and will put off a visit to a doctor if he can help it. While he doesn't mind being around people, Rowan has a great aversion to eating out -- there's just something about eating in front of people that feels extremely... uncomfortable. Along the same vein, despite the track of study, Rowan is actually very camera shy, though has no qualms about putting someone else in his place so that he can work behind the lens.• Abilities: There is nothing that Rowan really excels at, but he is driven quite well by his runaway imagination. On the other hand, he is also extremely clumsy and is therefore... very good at breaking things?

• Daphne Daphne had been on her own, most of her life. Adding the effects of Jirachi's star to the mix did little to alter that, but it did prompt her to think about her future and what direction she thought best to head in. Despite the decision to work up to becoming a mercenary, it seemed Rowan had a different idea of lodgings when he saw the homeless girl. Rather spur-of-the-moment, and strange... but she can't say she wasn't grateful!• Rowan The only child of a pair of botanists, Rowan grew with the skill to handle plants of all backgrounds without the drive to continue a family business. He was not ever treated with disdain of any sort for this decision, but he always wondered if it was not just masked. He was driven, and while he did not live far from it, he moved into the dorms on campus, to maximize breathing space and focus. However, he did not know how limited a time he had with them... and in recent months, has retreated even further into his studies and solitude than ever before.

While tragedy took the most prominent figures from him, he nonetheless seems to attract pokémon, in some strange manner. It turns out, they had had the same idea all along, and that common ground instigated an opinion that stayed positive until they went their separate ways.First Seen: Teen (Truffles) / Child (Daphne) || Last Seen: Teen (Truffles) / Child (Daphne) Tyr - One of the poké-kids that Daphne helped bust out of the Team Rocket HQ, the wily guy caused quite a ruckus. Rowan's current abode is a small, one-person dormitory, longer than it is wide. It has a small living area to the front, for entertainment and relaxation, that is rarely used as such. Directly across from it is a small kitchen area, sporting a small fridge, microwave, and lacking in cupboards. A semi-wide hallway connects these to the bedroom in the back, equipped with a personal bathroom with standing shower. The hallway is where Rowan has set up his desk and small bookcase, and, more often than not, falls asleep at it instead of the actual bedroom.

Considering there is very little space for Daphne to actually store much, aside from the necessities, gifts and rare finds are considered precious materials, few and far between. Normally, it will only be those that she can carry directly on her person. • Taser: Pilfered from Team Rocket Headquarters during the chaos that followed pokémon escape efforts, Daphne kept hold of it, just in case it was ever necessary again. While she could easily overpower some people, others... well, sometimes it's better not to poison everyone outright.
