Personality: Declan was abandoned at Grayson's lab one breezy summer afternoon, and found his star soon after. He was left with a large bag of jellybeans, his only reminder of his trainer. The sugary treat became his main food source, the oshawott carefully rationed them. He became thin-though he would deny it, he was a child. Small amounts of food may have kept him going as an oshawott, but no longer.
Declan's rough start may have made any other Pokemon bitter to the concept of trainers. That bag of jellybeans may have become a bag of bad memories. But Declan clung to those things: he needed a trainer. He loved those jellybeans. Best food on earth! Where would he get more?
