In case people still glance at the board, I'll post an update.
I have a cute puppy! whee   He is a chihuahua-mix and a rescue, and I adopted him on the 26th of December.
He is named Teddy, after Roosevelt. He is the best behaved small dog I've ever seen; Teddy almost never barks (hence the name) and loves both meeting people (small kids included) and other animals. He's a puppy, so he does chew on things, but the cuteness is real. whee
Also, in case anyone wants to hear a strange and silly podcast, listen to Welcome to Nightvale, which is done in a radio-news format and is about a town where all conspiracy theories are true. I like it.

Awww yeah, puppy! I used to go over to a friends place that had a chihuahua, and she was the same. Quite, polite, cute as pie little dog. She was my favorite member of the family.
