I'm me... but if you're here, you prob'ly already know that.
Well, I should describe myself more, considering I've been leaving my guild hidey-holes recently.
I'm an avid gamer, and have been since my first computer, an old Apple IIe. Now, I build my own computers and still get my game on, mainly in RPGs and hybrids like Borderlands 2 and the Mass Effect series. My first real RPG was Baldur's Gate, and it has shaped my life and tastes.
I listen to all kinds of music; my tastes range from Orchestral to Electronic, Bluegrass to Viking Metal, and Industrial to Ska. Now, if only I could remember the names of bands I like, I'd be able to find things. ._.
I read voraciously, mainly short stories and novels of the sci-fi (think Asimov and Phil K d**k), fantasy (think Terry Pratchett and Brian Jacques), and horror (Stephen King) genres.
I also devour anime. One day, I may place a list of series I've viewed here, but it would take a while.
For now, I'll leave the curious with some quotes I find meaningful:
Favorite Song Lyric Snippets:
"Forgive the poor old people who gave us entry, taught us God and the child's prayer in the night... Could any Hell be more horrible than now and real?"
~ Lament, Jim Morrison
"Maybe some day down the road a ways,
You'll think of me and wonder how I am these days.
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays, Purple Haze... "
~ End of the Line, Traveling Wilburys
Recent Enjoyable Quote:
"I can stand brute force, but brute reason is quite unbearable. There is something unfair about its use. It is hitting below the intellect." ~Lord Henry, The Picture of Dorian Gray
