Kyrian sat on a rock formation, his thoughts as wild as the gentle winds curling around the rocks. The male hummed as he thought. His fingers tapping some as of yet unfinished song as he sat there. The male chuckled as he watched his younger siblings play with the other children.

Every since Mano had been released by his master he had been a bit on the lost side, both figuratively at first and literally now. At first he'd decided that he was going to leave Oba, but he didn't want to go back to Matori either, there wasn't much there for him after all. That meant going to North to unknown places, exploring, seeing new things, and enjoying them. A lot of wandering around later, mostly following other people around, both his own tribesmen or just those he found interesting, and he was... well, lost. He had no idea where he was, nor did he particularly care. A part of him knew he could ask, but even if he asked would that help? Getting the name of a place wouldn't exactly tell him where he was, therefore he wasn't really so much looking for someone for that reason. The reason he was looking for someone was far more simplistic, he was lonely.
Ever since he could remember he'd always been at his master's side, the man was harsh at times but he was always present. Once he'd been released into the world and found himself 'free' he'd run around a lot, sought out the company of others, but it was never exactly what he was looking for. He couldn't say he knew exactly what he was looking for, he was just looking for... something, maybe someone, that could help him out with what he was feeling at the moment. Nobody had helped thus far, though some had at least made interesting company. Maybe that guy over there would be the one he was looking for he found himself thinking as he spotted a rather pretty looking man with the most amazing hair color.
Mano really was enjoying the people of the North, they were so pretty, so diverse, and so amazing to look at! Coming up behind the man, who seemed to be lost in thought over... something he was working on, Mano found himself reaching out to him, fingertips brushing against his hair, "Wow, you have such beautiful sunshine hair." He murmured, finding the color to be quite fascinating, which made it impossible for him not to touch, curious if it was as warm as it looked.

Kyrian had never seen anyone outside of his family group. The male wanted dearly to see others. Upon feeling someone touch him the male hummed leaning into the touch before turning. He expected one of his younger sisters to be there....HOLY CRAP WHO WAS THIS GUY?!? Kyrian stayed sitting for a few heartbeats before finding his voice; "W-who are you!?!" he then laughed lightheartedly, "Thank you!"Mano would find that indeed Kyrian's hair was warmed by the sun as he had been sitting in it for most of the day.

Mano's fin ears gave a little wiggle before he moved, coming to settle down alongside the pretty, golden haired man, and gave him a smile, "I'm Mano of course!" He said, as though that would explain everything from who he was to what someone like him was doing here. A poor explaination but he couldn't be bothered with that as he leaned in, his face getting quite close to that of Kyrian, before he murmured, "Wow, you have lovely eyes too! They are just like the sky." How pretty, sky colored eyes and sunshine hair, this man truly was from a lovely tribe, wasn't he? He had no idea that name of said tribe but it really didn't seem important to him at the moment. No, what was important was that the empty, lonely feeling that he'd had in the pit of his stomach was gone for the time being. As such he'd stick around with this one for at least a little while. Scooting ever closer he asked, "What about you? What is your name, my golden haired friend?" He asked of the man as he continued to delve deeper into his personal space. He really was pretty, something that made him glad that he'd wandered in this direction today. To think that he had almost been thinking about going South instead of in this direction, what a waste that would have been. The last thing that Mano wanted to miss out on was meeting... well, everyone that he could meet up with in the world. He was sure that if he kept looking he would meet someone, maybe multiple someones, that would help to ease the loss of the master he'd served for so long. Maybe this person would help with that he thought to himself, lifting a hand to toy with his pretty, sunshine hair once more while awaiting an answer the man's name.

Mano...that was a pretty name Kyrian mused to himself. He thought of a nice tune that would suit the male. Mano had pretty amber eyes, sorta like the sun as it rose in the morning. Kyrian looked at the emerald colored hair, which reminded him of the deepest green the elder male's would wear in their festival garb. Kyrian settled himself to be more comfortable as the other male settled by him. He really didn't mind he chuckled, "Thank you. I'm from the Wind Tribe. We're nomads here on Sauti. What about you? I don't think we've ever traded with one of your tribe before." Kyrian didn't move as the male got closer, "Kyrian. Its nice to meet you." he sat there and smiled. He leaned again into the touch of the other male.

Mano tilted his head to one side as the man said that he was of the 'Wind Tribe' making him quite special in that he was the first one in that particular group that he'd met to this point. Giving a smile he said, "It's nice to meet a member of your tribe, are all of your people as beautiful as you? Or are you just special in that aspect?" He asked, twirling a bit of golden hair around his fingers. He found that he rather liked the Wind Tribe, so different from his own people and the Fire Tribe. He liked that, getting to deal in a friendly manner with other tribes, it wasn't an option that he'd had before leaving Oba. Now that he found himself free he was only too happy to make friends with those that he found out in the great big world. "Hm? Me? Water Tribe, we hail from... well, the South, I suppose. Matori and Oba, depending on who you talk to." He said, releasing the golden hair that he'd been playing with, "We have only recently started to venture out of those two places so it's not surprising you haven't seen us before now." Leaning in, resting his shoulder on that of Kyrian, he gave him a smile, "It's nice to meet you, Kyrian." He said happily, letting his amber eyes close for a moment. This was nice, calm too, and the warmth of another was something that Mano always welcomed. He'd not admit it in front of others, the fact that he was lonely without his master. There were many who things him weak or touched in the head, nothing good, so he'd not admit to it. He'd rather not let anyone who was happy with their freedom to know he missed the man that had held him captive.

Kyrian hummed and chuckled as he felt the other male's shoulder on his own. He smiled at the other male, "You as well, Mano. What brought you here?" The young wind male was curious. The sight of the water tribesmen was something the other wanted to know more about.

Mano's amber eyes opened slowly, starring up at Kyrian with half lidded eyes, considering his question. The Matori man's lips turned up into a bit of a smile then as he lifted his head up, "What brought me here? Would you believe me if I told you the great God of Fortune On'os led me here to find you?" He murmured, leaning in closer to him, "What a great show of fortune indeed I've been blessed with to find someone like you." His lips turned up into a bit of a smile as he leaned in his lips a breath away from those of the Wind Tribesman, as though he meant to kiss him... and then he was drawing back away from him. "Mmm, don't worry, I won't steal a kiss away from you. I much prefer kisses when they are given away by free will, those ones are always the nicest and most pleasant sort." He saw no reason to tell Kyrian why he had really come to the area, that he was wandering around in a random fashion, that he was without purpose, or that he was lonely. Instead he'd much rather play with him, to fill the time, to enjoy himself, and perhaps gain himself a temporary friend out of the encounter. He doubted very highly that he'd see this man again after he left his side but that didn't mean that their time together couldn't be fun for the both of them. Giving a soft laugh he added, "Mmm, probably best that I don't steal kisses from you now anyway, there are little ones about, and they might get confused by the sight of a stranger like me stealing kisses from you." Especially given they were both men he thought idly to himself, not like that meant anything to Mano but it might bother those in the Wind Tribe.

Kyrian watched the other male, blinking rapidly as the male got closer. His thoughts a whirl. What was about to happen?!? Why was it about to happen?!? He wanted to know what the other meant. His mind processing the words, "The God of Fortune...S-someone like me?!?" He blinked before leaning forward slightly, "What's a kiss?" his head tilted, he then looked around, "Oh...the kids aren't paying attention to me. Their all about to go back anyways. I'm just thinking of a new tune for tonight's meal." He smiled, "So...what's a kiss?"

Mano cocked his head to one side as the Wind Tribesman asked about the kiss, making him wonder if perhaps Kyrian was teasing him. Who didn't know what kissing was like after all? He supposed that his training and upbringing might be a little different from everywhere else given what his master was like and what he'd wanted Mano to be able to do with sad training. Still, who wasn't familiar with kissing? It made him withdraw a bit so that he could study Kyrian as one might study some sort of strange, endangered creature that they had come across in the wild. He was certainly something special... provided of course that he wasn't leading Mano on. "Hmmm..." Giving a thoughtful sound Mano found himself debating for a moment before he leaned in, pressing a kiss to Kyrian's forehead, "There, something like that." He was too sweet and innocent for his own good, meaning that Mano would leave him be. No reason to mess with that cute and rather rare trait of his. He'd leave Kyrian be in that manner, feeling it would be better for him to have someone show up to sweep him off his feet since he seemed that sort. It was far, far from what Mano was so he'd exclude himself from being a possibility. Withdrawing from Kyrian he set to stretching out his arms over his head for a moment, giving a slight sigh as he did so, "So, tell me. What did you mean about a 'new tune for tonight's meal' anyway?" He was curious about the meaning of the comment, wanting instantly to know more.

Kyrian was being serious. The adults of his group rarely showed affection to one another beyond hand holding while around the children. Kyrian was also one of the very few who was viewed as 'dense' by the others that he didn't really get to explore further. So, his innocence was perfectly reasonable. He sat there waiting for the explination. He blinked then felt the light pressure of the other male's lips. He smiled, "Oh! I like that! Thank you!" He leaned up and returned the 'kiss' upon Mano's forehead. Bouncing back to his sitting position the youth tilted his head, "Oh...my family are all gypsies and minstrels. Its common practice for the young males to offer up a song, I'm not allowed my own instrument yet. But I can still sing for my elders to turn into a song of their own creation."

The reaction that Kyrian had to the kiss on the forehead was one that made Mano feel that the boy was in fact as innocent and oblivious as he seemed. It seemed as though he wasn't used to kissing, let along more 'grown up' things, meaning that Mano would have to leave be. He would refrain from what he normally did, the flirting and such, even though that was kind of second nature of him by now. Using such things to get in close to others, it was what he'd been taught, though the reasoning behind the teaching wasn't something he was interested in following through with. He just did the first part of it all, never that very final finishing bit.
Drawn from such thoughts as he got a kiss on the forehead in return a part of he couldn't help but laugh, "You're rather innocent, aren't you?" He asked without thinking, then waved the question away in light of what he was saying about his family, "Dancers and singers, huh? That sounds like fun. So you help make music for them? Neat." To create something, that sounded neat, not really something that he was all that familiar with himself but still, it sounded like it would be interesting to partake in. Not as though he would suddenly gain musical aptitude that likely ran in Kyrian's blood from what he said about his family, but maybe something that had to do with creating?
"Continue? I'd like to hear what you're working on." He said, motioning with his hand to Kyrian, hoping he'd give him a taste of the piece he had been creating when Mano had pounced.

Kyrian smiled before he started humming again as he took to drumming his fingers on his leg. The youth let his eyes slid shut as he kept on the tune. He came to a stop making a face, "I always get stuck here..." he drummed his fingers in his frustration.

Mano tilted his head to one side, one of his fin like ears giving a little twitch, as he listed to the way that Kyrian tapped his fingers against his leg while humming. A nice tune, though one that ended far too quickly if you asked him. It would seem that it was at that point where the other young man got stuck, something that had Mano smiling, "Why not chat with the others in your group? If you're all musicians who better to ask? I know when there were things about by own training that I found confusing I'd ask my Master about them." He told Kyrian, sure that he would do better if he allowed himself aid, "Things are always harder when you try to do them all alone." Said the one traveling all on his own. Giving a smile he then added, "So far the sound of your tune is nice though, I bet it would be something that one could dance to one day. I'd like to myself." It was a part of those skills that he'd been taught, how to dance, to draw attention and throw people off guard, it made things easier... though if he could dance for the sake of dancing he'd prefer that to the sort of dancing that he'd done in the past.

Kyrian blinked as the words sunk in, "Its not uncommon for one of us to ask for aid, we just get made fun of for it. Pride issue, my mother calls it." he looked at Mano as the male commented on loneliness. Kyrian looked around then something striking him as odd, "Mano...are you alone? If you are. I know the Leader wouldn't mind a drifter to join us for the evening meal." He was being honest, their leader really wouldn't mind. Kyrian smiled at Mano's comment on dancing, "Dance? but...I was raised that males don't dance. I mean a few times drifters came through and a few may have danced. But they teach a new dance to the females in the group. So, there's that."
