Welcome to the SDRP 2014 Holiday Event!

The holidays have come again! What ever you may celebrate this holiday season, spread some cheer by participating in our special holiday event! The contests will get you into the holiday groove as we get deeper into December.

December 30, 2014: Gold Raffle ticket deadline

January 1, 2015:Snowball Fight prizes awarded
January 1, 2015: Gold Raffle trades sent
January 10, 2015: Deadline for Gold Raffle trade acceptance

Event Prizes
Gold Raffle:
1st Number Drawn: Dragon Hoard, 200k GG, and a December 2014 Thank You letter
2nd Number Drawn: Dragon Hoard and 200k GC
3rd Number Drawn: Dragon Hoard and 200k GC
4th Number Drawn: 1 million GC and a mystery item sent by TheGazSpaz.

TekTek Contest:
1st place will receive 2m + 2 Dragon Hoard.
2nd place will receive 1.25m + Dragon Hoard.
3rd place will receive 500k + Dragon Hoard.

Snowball Fight:
1st place will receive 10m + Lord of Snow
2nd place will receive 5m + Heart of Ice
3rd place will receive 2.5m + Jack Frost
Most Snowballs Thrown receives a Winterland Snowball
Most Health Gained receives a Hot Cuppa Cocoa

Wordly Morsel Challenge:
1st place- 2 dragon hoards and art from the contest runner
2nd place- 1 dragon hoard and art from contest runner
3rd place- 1 dragon hoard

** Based on approximate Marketplace values at the time the prize was added to our pool. Estimates were made for unreleased items based on values of similar past items and will be updated as items are released.

Event Guidelines:

Unless otherwise stated, all events will have their prizes awarded within the first few weeks of January 2015.
If you have any questions about a contest/event, please read over the contest first. If you still have questions contact the contest holder (user that made the second post) or ask in this thread.
All prizes are awarded at the discretion of the SDRP staff.
Many of the events have extra perks if you're involved in an active RP in the guild. Check them out and use this as an excuse to get active in the guild!
Chatter in this thread is encouraged!

I must say, I'm not fully understanding the Wordly Morsel Challenge.

Limit is 50 words.. for what?

What is the challenge? What are the 50 words meant to be about? Christmas? The holidays in general?

I would like to take part, but afraid that if I post something, I will be way off mark.

What is the challenge? What are the 50 words meant to be about? Christmas? The holidays in general?

I would like to take part, but afraid that if I post something, I will be way off mark.

I thought I was plenty clear but let me state it again. 50 words to use in whatever literary work you desire. Examples, short story, poem, haiku, song etc. Theme is Christmas and all that it is associated with and implies. Example, turkey dinner, family, cookies and hot chocolate, joy, generosity, snow, etc.
