Evartene Attacking HitPoints: 10/10 Word Count: 217 This was her first brawl and Evartene was looking forward to it no matter the outcome. Whether she scored a win or a loss she knew with fiery optimism that this would be a great learning experience, a chance to take a step forward toward becoming a skilled brawler. The Fire B'alam stretched zealously while trying to be careful not to go overboard with it before the match started as well. Brawling for some unknown but compelling reason seemed and sounded like so much interesting fun! Surely it could be potentially painful to some extent, too. But, the thought of sore muscles surprisingly did not bother her all that much. Rather she welcomed the likelihood since such would be a physical indication that she was probably doing something right in trying to keep in shape and also improve in her fitness level. Though she also reminded herself to be mindful not to be excessive in taking any risks and fall into or inflict dire injury. Upon her contender's arrival she raised a waving paw and beamed her greeting, "Hello and let's have a good brawl!" She then got ready to pounce, crouching down as she said, "Okay, here I go!" And with that, she leapt toward her opponent and lunged for a swipe with her right paw.

After her last brawl Bell had taken some time to lick her wounds, and pride from those insults the male light tribe member kept shouting at her. Not that anything he said was directly "offensive", he used sarcasm and wit to distract her as they battled. In the end he had managed to land quite a few hits upon her and it came to Bell's realization that she wasn't a fan of earning more scars, both visible and not.
After her injuries from the last battle had healed the dark blue coated female had campaigned on training herself thoroughly. She wouldn't allow insults and downgrades to her gender be the key to getting under her skin. Not after that humiliation at least.
Today would be her second match, and one she was proud to compete in. She was glad her opponent already seemed a lot nicer and less quick to stereotype her as the other female called out to her in greeting. Bell nodded with a smile in agreement. A good brawl they should have.
She braced herself for the impact of the female running into her, but remembering how well that had fared her in her last match was quick to dodge out of the way. She then awaited for another attack.

Evartene CLASH HitPoints: 10/10 Word Count: 217 + 244 = 461 ((and here I am being exuberant with getting an upcoming layout set up ahaha, please excuse me, I am already really enjoying our match x D)) "Oof," after failing to land a blow to her foe, Evartene moved to readjust her stance and regain her bearings so as to try to land another attempt at a strike. Another step to the side and she then went into a sort of hop that was certainly not as large a jump as her previous just breaths before this one, but just enough it seemed to her to bring her in closer range once again to endeavor another go at an attack. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself," the Fire tribe girl recalled as she also processed that perhaps she still wasn't close enough to reach her opponent from her present location and hesitated in her delivery of another swipe. "I am Evartene, really great to meet you and to get to brawl together like this, and I would also like to request for your name please." Could she try chatting away like this? Well, evidently she could try seeing as she was trying already. But, Evartene didn't know if there were any rules to brawling with regards to if chatting during a battle was advisable or even just fine. This was her first brawl in any case. She would settle with trial and error at this point during fights starting out, she considered. And after several shuffling steps and miniature hops while her mind was working in overtime, Evartene finally attempted to land another blow in like fashion to her earlier move.

Bellatrix CLASH wordcount I totally forgot: HP: 10/10 ((pff, that's fine, so am I! xD))
Bell was prepared fully as the fire tribe girl leap forward, and she skipped lightly to the side. Such seemed to be her go-to strategy. Dodge, defend, attack. Dodge, defend, attack...
Her eyes lifted to stare at the other as before she had been monitoring her own feet. She felt... non-confident. Well, not quite that, more like so less confident then she had been her first match. She still held herself high and kept an air of superiority about her, but Bell seemed to be taking it more carefully. She wasn't in such a hurry to run in and defeat her opponent as she had been when at the beginning of her last fight.
She quit making comparisons when the female spoke. It was moments like these she remembered she had words. "Bell. Or Bellatrix. Let us not hurt each other too much, it would be pleasure to battle again." She chose pleasure because pleasure was much more soothing of a word than disgust. And she silently prayed that yes, it would be a nice surprise to find herself matched up with Evartene in the future and not Eetu.
She hated that male.

Bellatrix Attacking okay, this time for real XD Wordcount: 406 + 151 = 557 HP: 10/10 While the other was off guard Bell pinned her ears back and lowered her head slightly. Doing so made her feel faster, more invincible. With a lunge she bolted towards towards the other. Her initial instinct was to withdraw her claws but in turn of events she decided to go for a bite instead. Which was least painful?
Bell hoped that her fangs would sink into the fleshy part of Evartene's back, oblivious to the fact that she did not possess scales or had tough fur to prevent teeth from piercing her skin.
In fact it wasn't until in those few seconds she took to move that Bell noticed the other didn't have the scales she did lining her back. She supposed that maybe that was nature's pay back for the horns growing out of her head. After all, Bell wasn't too fond of being jabbed by one of those either.

Evartene Defending (-1 HitPoint) HitPoints: 9/10 Word Count: 461 + 226 = 687 ((ahaha I shall totally add in my rp next asap *u*)) "Bell. Bellatrix," Evartene grinned a toothy smile as she tested the Light B'alam's name and observed how it sounded with her voice, wondering if she was saying it right, "I am in agreement, Bell." The Fire tribe girl was putting in a lot of effort multi-tasking with their chat and battle, but she was enjoying the spar enormously nevertheless. "Hmm," she mused while taking careful prowling steps without taking her eyes off her contender, though it would not be unheard of if Evartene were to be caught off guard in her inexperience. "You can call me Ev. Or Ar works too which sounds like fire but without the sound of the f," she chuckled as her guard unconsciously slipped while hopping about, "Fire Ar could be said with the two blending even, I find it a funny thought. That and Ar doesn't sound as it is very obviously perhaps." It was clear Fire Ar as she so amusingly just referred to herself had been successfully caught off guard when she winced with an oof! She endeavored to regain her composure quickly however and crouched in more alertness after receiving the well dealt blow before pouncing about warily yet cheerily yet again. "Phew, that was a good strike, Bell. I have got to pay more attention," Evartene responded, "but I am definitely having fun with this one-on-one."

"Ev." She repeated, feeling the name on her tongue. Bell allowed the other female to regain herself before she began to plan her next attack. A grin crept on her face. "Yes, don't allow yourself to be knocked out too early!" She said this in a light manner. This brawl, her thoughts of comparison on the two she had been in already. It was evident this was a much more relaxed and less tense of a brawl. It was... Enjoyable.
Bending down she decided to try a new trick, one her last opponent had used. Her tail danced to the side as she prepared herself to be launched over to where Evartene was. When she blasted off, oh, did she feel like she was soaring! Before long she was next to Ev again, and this time she had turned slightly to the side to knock the fire tribe girl against the wall. She was cautious however, as they both had horns on their heads she figured it was part of her duty as a brawler to ensure her opponent never accidentally was jabbed with it. As a result her head was on some sort of awkward tilt when backed off and allowed the other girl some time to breathe.

Evartene Defending HitPoints: 9/10 Word Count: 687 + 154 = 841 ((rollinrollin before rp input >u<)) "Copy that," Ev replied with a toothy grin in the affirmative to Bell's words. "I shall endeavor to be an interesting opponent to go up against, Bell." And then, Ev was nearly shocked to stillness by the sight of Bell charging towards her. It was fantastic to watch indeed but Ev reminded herself just in time that she had to keep her head and focus in their match so that it was both fun while making them both work for a satisfying outcome of having improved and gained unique new experiences from their spar. The Fire tribe girl crouched and lunged herself into mid air but by just a short distance above the level surface and in the same direction that Bell was speeding towards her. This was so that when they collided as Ev predicted they may highly in likelihood do so in mere seconds, she may decrease the force of the impact.

Evartene Attacking HitPoints: 9/10 Word Count: 841 + 127 = 968 ((rollinrollin before rp input II ahaha x D)) And eventually they did brush each other with a reasonable amount of force through each of their maneuvers but it did not turn out quite exactly as Ev was trying to plan as a matter of fact since even unexpectedly to her, Ev did something impulsively at the last second. This was that she turned so that her paws met and in some sense landed against the wall so that she could push off and quickly push towards and against her brawling foe in kind. Like Bell, Ev, too, had been aware of her own horns and mindful to try not reduce the possibility of causing injury with them. And in similar fashion, Ev had angled her head so her horns faced away as she counter attacked.

It was slightly unexpected for Bell to be knocked back when Ev mimicked her technique and rammed into her. She was glad though, they were both being careful of one another. Careful not to cause more damage then needed. Mindful of her enemy Bell reversed backwards, crawling across the ground away from Ev as quick as a snake might slither. She stood when she felt she was a good enough distance, and breathed out a sigh with a grin. "Good." She said. "You're making this battle interesting!"
At that she awaited for her opponent to strike again, and lowered her front two paws in a stance from which she planned to either dart left or right when another attack was to come surging her way.shyanimegrl SORRY. Evartene Attacking HitPoints: 9/10 Word Count: 841 + 127 = 968 + 237 = 1205 Starry-eyed would likely be a quite fitting adjective for the way Evartene zealously endeavored to keep her gaze zeroed in to her spar opponent's whereabouts, both in observing admiration and competitive eagerness. She doubted she could move the way Bell can, not yet anyway. The Light tribe B'alam has impeccable and graceful footwork and fluidity. Who knows, perhaps with more practice and experience getting her feet wet in matches that are much like the one they were currently engaging in, then she can further surprise herself and in turn transform spontaneity into honed skills. Her mind was still reeling and hurrying to catch up with herself. She admittedly had not expected the beats that played between them in this battle song they were orchestrating to shockingly have turned out the way they did in the short moments immediately previous of this breath of time. As she took and released a stream of air into and from her lungs, Evartene noticed her foe had done similarly so. She sent a grin her way and replied, "I'd like to say the same!" Then taking another breath of air, she crouched before she sprang forward, leaping once, followed by charging again but this time in diagonals before reaching out for a swift push with both her front paws at Bell when she felt that it seemed she had closed the distance enough to attempt this next experimental attack of hers. CaliWolfe ((Eep eep eep I am too, very much so. My sincere apologies, Cali, I shall try not to keep you waiting so long between our tags anymore ;A; <3))

The coincidental stride in which both her and her opponent seemed to be sync was a fact not lost on Bellatrix. It made her smile, for in her mind it meant they were both taking the battle seriously. They were both here with the goal in mind to win.
As the female sprang towards her Bell placed two paws to the left, preparing to bolt but then was stuck watching the unpredictable zig-zags that came next. She remained crouched and awaited for the other to near, and then she leaped as high as she could, bouncing off of Ev's back. Her instincts told her that moving was a better option than being rammed into, so she simply acted on those and pounced away.
She grinned as she landed, twisting her body around in preparation of her own attack.shyanimegrl Sorry this took so long! ;A;

Bellatrix attacking 9/10 Round one:766 + 125 = 891 Round two: 891 + 138 + 138 = 1167 Bell finished her spin with her claws withdrawn, slashing at the air as she missed her target. Had she not been in a delightful mood Bell probably would have cursed that little slip up. She had trained for hours on end and now, in actual combat she was going and missing her opponent? Honestly, was it really that hard to completely miss even scraping another B'alam?
As she landed Bell rushed toward, with the goal of issuing a tackle at this point. Having scales may have provided some sort of natural protection but Bell knew that currently her belly was exposed and she was all-too aware of how her underside did not possess those shield-like scales her back did.
So she just hoped for the best, and that her tackle worked to stun Ev even a little bit...

Evartene Defending HitPoints: 9/10 Word Count: 1205 + 89 = 1294 "Oof!" It felt to Ar as though the match suddenly went hyper speed as she braced herself just a breath before the impact of Bell's pounce. She had barely recovered it seemed to her as well when she saw her opponent's paw swipe at her, and at the sudden sight she reflexively winced and readied herself for the move to make contact. But, gah, she shouldn't be cringing and just as she opened her eyes again she saw Bell rush to tackle her after the immediately previous attempted attack.
