Fill out the coded form below and post your favorite Christmas Carol . . . but turn it into a Soquili Parody! This can be anything related to soquili so long as it sticks within our canon. (So no car driving ponies or anything.)h For example, instead of Jingle Bells, perhaps you'd make something like "Amachi Bells" given Mindsend's Amachi Clan is known to wear headscarves and bells. Or instead of "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow" you could make something like "Let it Soq, Let it Soq, Let it Soq". Things of that nature! [And yes, you can use those ideas if you want, since it would be your job to fill out the entire song.] Additionally, we understand some people might parody the same song. That's just fine, too, so long as people aren't plagiarizing one another. Make it unique! Just because two people parody Jingle Bells doesn't mean it's going to be the same parody, either. Fill out the code, post your parody, and may we fill this thread with fun and silly songs, soquili style!

The Rules 1. Fill out the form entirely! 2. Keep your parody soquili related AND canon related. It should stick to the setting of the shop, so no soquili turning into tincans or something. It can be about soquili in general, the shop, or individual ponies, or a mix. 3. Keep the Gaia ToS and Soquili Shop Rules in mind when you parody. 4. Don't steal others ideas. While folks can parody the same song, try to make sure they're different enough even if the themes are similar. 5. You can't proxy for someone. This is asking for an original idea, and therefor we want the people who win the ponies to be the ones who put in the work. 6. You may edit your parodies until the close of the event. 7. Have fun! 8. You should only post one parody per person. If you can't get enough of parodies, go check out Kyrieko's game "What's That Sound?". It's another parody contest, though hers are any type of song, not just carols.

2013 on Christmas day,
On the western plain's the arrows alight with flames.

We heard a Kalona sing from no soq's land
The stallion had a voice so pure and true
The words were strange, but every note we knew
Soq soring ore the living dead and damned
The kalona sang of peace from no soq's land
They left their stance and we left ours.
Beneath the stars the smiles grew like wildflowers.
With trinkets, firelight and flasks of wine.
We built a soldier's truce on the front line.
Their singer was a stallion of 4 years.
We begged another song before the dawn
And laying in the mud and blood and fear
He sang again the song all longed to hear.

A leader is born of peace for evermore

All brothers hoof to hoof
