Why Would Ajax Be A Good God? (There are a few missing from here)
A short couple of syllables could never truly relate what it means to be Ajax, as far as the meaning behind his name. However, historically he was known as the strongest man alive and a great warrior, though slain in battle. My aim is to emulate what that man may have been like in Ulaya form.
I have many other incarnations of him, and most of them have held up to this idea. Those that have alterations have been met with less interest for plots from other players. That will be the opposite of my intentions for this incarnation.
I have also started at different points in his life, creating a path for the character to develop certain traits. The details usually always differ, but the end point is the same. Young in life he is cocky, yet selfless, family is what he makes it, not necessarily what he's born into, and he loves to win, even if no one else knows they're competing. Middle of his life he's a fierce warrior, calculating, strategizing, and has a over whelming sense of 'brothers in arms', at this point he's more likely to choose an army over starting or paying much attention to family. Late in life after his battles are either won or lost, he focuses on his blood and can sometimes feel a sense of urgency to make a large family to ensure his legacy continues in his footsteps of greatness, he can be snarky and go for the rebellious females to keep him busy, or go for the more passive mates to fulfill the needs he never knew he had. No matter where or who he is, he will always have a sensitive trigger finger and a short temper. .
The best answer I can give to the above question, is he will put the better good at the forefront of all of his battles. He would be a great god because he is able to see the bigger picture of life and can accurately give good advise to any who are willing to listen.
Physical Appearance: Black pelt with red and white tribal markings, seemingly random accept for the white tribal "swirls" on the left side of his face. Piercing light silver eyes. Toned physique, covered with scars and trophies. White hair with red streaks in some crazy/unique style. Mohawk of long braids; refs below!
Finer details: Likes: Sparring, overcoming discord, giving orders to eager soldiers, finding the diplomatic solution, prophecies, flirting, and spreading his seed. wink Dislikes: Losing, arguing (double edge sword), disrespect, civil disobedience, and bullies/"baddies". Weapon of choice: Double sided Axe Secondary: Hidden throwing blades more to come.. Magic related to domain: The subject of legacy is a romantic illusion, Ajax feels those that are not honorable shouldn't have a legacy come to him or her easily. His magic is related to that of fertility. I want to check with staffers, but I wonder if I can give people the a little extra luck for those who are honorable and/ or courageous in breedings and inversely strike a B'alam of infertility. (this would of course be mostly RP based and would be used for plotting purposes)

Harslec has been remade over a few times, but he is another one of my favorite OCs. Originally he's was the oldest brother of triplets, but I quite like the idea of him as a brother for Ajax. Where Ajax is Greek, Harslec is Roman. This translates to their personalities; where Ajax sees the world as shades of gray, Harslec sees only black and white.
He is more of an introvert than his brother, and a touch more cruel. But someone has to strategize how to exploit the enemy's weakness and punish the unworthy. H is also the one with the hot head at times. It takes an excessive amount of effort to gain the trust and therefore loyalty of Harslec, much more than it takes to loose it. He and Ajax would serve as each other's most trusted advisers and confidants. They don't always see eye-to-eye, not are they always compliant in talking it out. When these two clash it is a sight of great control and master battle knowledge, but also of restraint and passion.

Vikings Galore!
I'd really love a random collection of Vikings to give away as an event! Like 5-10 would be an awesome way to kickstart the Vikings numbers, then hope that people will then toss in others as they go along.
What I'd be looking for is lots of braid edits, Old Celtic style symbology tattoos, weapons, shields, fur coats, ect. Colors would probably favor earthy tones for warriors as not to stick out like a sore thumb on a raid. So like mostly tones of browns, coppers, greys, dark reds, black, and darker blues; also natural patterns and colors. Super bright Ulaya may be seen as a soft spot for field action. There will be some good reference material up soon in the Vikingar Clan Interest Thread. (Which I will in time link here)
I gotta say Conrad, I absolutely love this concept. Love the character. And I now wanna RP with him.... >>

I got this awesome idea while I was at work for Ajax to be a little more rustic than Greek battle wear, so I may edge it more towards Viking style of rustic! Then when I got home, what do I find on tv? A Vikings marathon! Cha-Ching!!
