Charlotte took her friend to the mall, to a store where her brother would take her. The Ice Cream Works, it was an odd name but Charlotte loved the place. The Trickster had been practicing some lines Tobias would normally say during the ride over to the Market District, she was practically becoming Tobias. "Have you ever came to this place before? They have so many flavors of ice cream. You can even make your own flavor too! Come on, I'll pay for the ice cream." Charlotte took Lane to the back of ice cream store, where a giant machine and screen showed the many flavors of ice cream other people have made. Charlotte pointed at screen, "Just touch the screen and it'll ask for what kind of ice cream flavor you want to make, there's an unlimited amount of options and you can mix them too."

Lane said then pointed and made chocolate butter pecan ice cream with caramel and whipped cream on top.

Her cover was blown, but she still tried to act as if she didn't know anything, "What are you talking about? It's the same Toby? You really think I'm Charlotte? I didn't tell you this because you didn't ask, Charlotte went on another mission while you were talking to Z. It's me! Toby, if you really think it's not me then you need more proof!" Charlotte really wanted it to sound convincing but she knew Lane wasn't stupid, she didn't want to tell Lane where Tobias went. Charlotte didn't even know where Tobias went.

Charlotte returned to normal, she sighed and apologized to Lane. "I'll help you find him. He wanted to be alone but I don't really think that was true. But can we have some ice cream first?" Charlotte wasn't too worried about her brother, but he was probably finding himself some trouble. She didn't want Lane to be worrying about him too, she had too much to worry about. "So...What flavor are you going to make? I mean you have to name it don't you?"

Lane shrugged pointing at her creation. When the time came to name it she typed in Diabetes. It seemed like the perfect name. Nothing else came to mind. Once she was settled Lane confessed to Charlotte, "To be honest, I don't know if I want to find him. I think he'll be fine. I believe him. He probably is just taking a breather somewhere. I know I need it."

"Tobias made a flavor after you. Hold on a sec..." Charlotte scrolled the screen and found the flavor Tobias made, it was called Sweetheart. The ice cream flavor was made up of fudge, milk chocolate, and strawberries. It was a soft-serve with a waffle cone, topped with sprinkles. Charlotte pressed the image on the screen and it came out of the machine in a matter of seconds. Charlotte handed the ice cream to Lane, "It's simple but it suits its name. Try it. It's actually really good."

Lane's eyes slighty widened, "I never knew he named ice cream after me. Does it say when he made it...It's certainly been quite a while since he called me sweetheart. But enough talk, what's the point of ice cream if one can't eat it and be merry?" So Lane tried the ice cream Toby had made simply enjoying the simple creation.

Charlotte looked at the date the flavor was created, "Actually...It was before we went to the beach." Charlotte noticed that Lane was enjoying the flavor of the ice cream, she smiled, "You look quite happy with that flavor. I guess Tobias is really good with his flavors?" Charlotte tried her own Sweetheart flavor ice cream, she really enjoyed the strawberry flavor of the ice cream. "Come on, how about we hang out and wait till Toby comes back? If he doesn't come back by dark then we're going to have to look for him."

I'm sure he just took off somewhere to be alone. Who doesn't from time to time?"

Charlotte teased, using Tobias' voice, "Well when Toby wants to be alone, he usually prefers to be gone for a long time...I've known by experience. Hopefully, he'll come back as promised." Charlotte was remembering some history and it seemed to have altered her mood, she didn't seem as cheerful now. Charlotte realized this and quickly fixed her posture and behavior, she cheered and grabbed Lane's arm, "Come on! Let's go check out the rest of the mall! Where do you want to visit next?"

"Alright, alright. Deal! We'll go somewhere else. But at least let me finish my ice cream. I don't know where I want to go. I don't shop, I shoot." Lane pointed out. She always felt more at home at the armory than the mall. She doubted that would steer Charlotte away from the mall though. Besides it would be nice to just relax and get something nice for herself.

"We should get you a dress so when Toby comes back you can make his jaw drop. Plus it'll be cute, don't you think?" Charlotte teased. She waited for Lane to finish her ice cream and for her to decide where the two of them could go next at the mall. "After this, we can go visit the firing range. I know you prefer guns over dresses any day." Charlotte would agree with Lane too, she liked guns more than wearing a dress. She was trained to fight, not to be a damsel. She pondered about other stores that were within the mall, "Hey...What about the costume store? We can also visit the gun store too."

I'm finished" Lane told her securing her belongings and clearing off their table.
