I've always wanted to take an old tv or computer monitor and turn it into a cat bed. I just don't know where to start. Maybe my husband could figure it out. whee

Pretty creative, I like the old monitor as a cat bed. I am however looking for something I can make for my dude's huge white lab though, poor old guy isn't as comfy as the kittens on hard floors. Are we able to post ideas for that here too?

Absolutely! most dog diy beds can be scaled down to cats or used the same for a larger cat, no worries!

Neat mrgreen We just have a huge puppy and he's got a hard time with the floors lately since he needs some padding for his older bones. I'm a bit of a pushover so he sleeps with one of the bigger throw pillows on the rug in the bedroom when I'm over, he sleeps practically on the pillow and makes a huge fuss.

He's just a huge dog, yellow labs are typically no more than 50lbs or so if they're trim and healthy and our older white lab is about 110 so it makes it rather tricky. We're thinking we might get a seamstress friend to make him some custom beds. Get something tough and canvas like for the bottom and maybe something soft for the tops, he does love the sleeping bags when they're folded up a couple times.
