Lazy, but brilliant. Elliot is the kind of person who can come up with quick ideas and fixes...so long as he actually feels inclined to try. He's definitely not one for any sort of physical activity either--he'd much rather be sleeping or reading rather than doing any sort of training.
He...knows a lot about flowers. Seems kind of random, but working in your parents' flower shop all your life will do that to you.
Joined the military so that he could earn money for his parents. After losing their shop in an accident, he figured this was the only way to support them.
A deadpan pessimist, albeit one with a heart of gold. He's a huge pushover and will go out of his way to lend others a hand.
LOOKING FOR

Sparring partners! Elliot sucks at fighting and definitely needs the practice, though actually getting him to get off his lazy a** is a whole different challenge altogether
People to annoy him. Pretty much anyone who is super bouncy/enthusiastic/etcetc!
On the other side of the spectrum, some friends who are chill as him would be nice too!
FUTURE PLOTS
He's probably going to join the Garrison, unless he's swayed towards any of the other branches because of friends (namely, his concern for them. LOOKIN' AT YOU, KODY)

Xiu is a noble--her mother comes from a family of wealthy tea merchants, and her father is the eldest son of a noble house. She recognizes how fortunate she is + tries to be friendly and accepting to others regardless of class
Sweet, albeit also rather hardheaded and curious to a fault--she's kind of the stereotypical sheltered rich kid
Very maternal, which results in the fact that she sometimes tends to mother and nag her friends/peers
Helps out at her uncle's café whenever she can. Sometimes travels out of the capital with said uncle to purchase ingredients + experience what the other towns have to offer
LOOKING FOR
Pretty much everything! Friends! Enemies! Everything and anything!
People to teach her the ways of the world/show her some of the darker sides of society? She's very much aware that they exist, but she hasn't had much experience in seeing these parts for herself
People for her to dote on! Really doesn't matter if you're older or younger, male or female--Xiu will dote on absolutely anyone. B|
...Bad influences, but mostly just for humour's sake? Mischief makers or anyone who can drag her into crazy situations idk!

Xiuying is too pretty and shining, Lore would probably have difficulty approaching her. She'd be all stiff and awkward. rofl
